Coffee Pocket

All I wanted was a proper coffee and this place definitely delivered. I didn’t fancy anything else with it so I just enjoyed it whilst I head to the park.

Came to this neighborhood for a walk and noticed this little spot. They have this honeycomb bricks on top of the latte and it slowly melts into the coffee and gives it this distinct sweetness which is not only good for photos but also taste really good! However it is a little sweet for my Asian palette I will try to ask if they can make it less sweet!

The storefront is not big, but dalgona latte is so delicious!!!

Coffee was decent - but when was the last time you had a bad coffee from an indy shop? No latte art. Machine and grinder were grody AF. vomit.jpeg At this price point and given the taste is pretty uniform across shops due to the automatic nature of coffee equipment these days, the difference is really in the service. I’ve tried this shop a bunch and my last visit was the worst. No greeting, sour look on face, and generally uncool vibe. Not where i want to get my treat-to-myself 5$++ coffee. Yikes. Barista is always chatting it up with whoever is before me so i assume this shop has its faithful regulars.

Cute place. Very small / narrow. Server was direct and we didn’t waste anytime with small talk. I didn’t mind that at all. If you’re looking for a bare bones experience with good coffee, this is your place.

Could your coffee shop experience affect or influence the taste of the coffee? This little shop was big on personal touches. Unique wall art, photos, pattered tiles, yes tasty coffee and yes yes, friendly baristas. I ordered an Americano and drip, it was as expected. Good. Openly showcased on the self are beans from Sam James and just outside a bench with their name on it in UPPERCASE.

Coffee Pocket is a tiny but mighty coffee shop with amazing espressos. The Brazil/Colombia blend is delicious, and the baristas are friendly and skilled. It's a great spot for a quick and tasty caffeine fix.

Tasty coffee, but even better than that, excellent customer service. The staff who served us was lovely and kind - though they had never met us before we were approached with warmth and friendly conversation. The yummy hot drinks were just a bonus after that interaction!
