Coffee Lunar

One of my favourite iced coffee drinks in the city! I ordered the vanilla drop latte which featured a nice sweetened cold foam with espresso underneath. The flavours melded well together and was quite refreshing. There is a decent seating area and desk space if you are interested in getting work done but the space isn’t too big.

This place is great during the summer, if you come alone or for a quick coffee. Seating is very LIMITED and not the most comfortable chairs. Cappuccino was great, served in a ceramic mug that made the experience better. During winter, it is cold, wet on the floor, hard to find a place to sit AND to put your belongings (coat/scarf/hat/etc)

The staff are very friendly, and it’s one of my regular spots. I really enjoy stopping by this nice place before heading downtown. It’s never overly crowded, and the drinks are excellent. I truly appreciate both the staff and the owner, who are incredibly kind, warm, and approachable. As someone traveling from England, Lunar offers a refreshing change of scenery and a great place to unwind. Compared to most other coffee places I visit, Lunar has the most welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax and ease into my day.

The atmosphere is very calm and comfortable. It’s a good place to sit and do work. The drinks are unique and made with care and taste really good ! I usually get like 3 drinks during my trips to this cafe ! The staff are very kind and welcoming and open to recommending drinks that are good. The place is a bit small so if you come in the afternoon there might not be much space to sit, the earlier the better. Overall a very good place and I recommend.

The most flavourful coffee in town. I don't know how they do it but they're espresso and espresso-based drinks taste amazing. I feel like when I order a flat-white from most cafes around town, it ends up having just sort of a general coffee taste to it, but at Lunar their flat-whites have a bunch of very distinct flavours going on. The steamed milk is always very silky and well textured too. Other places often make the milk too frothy or too hot, but at Lunar it's almost always perfect. I wish they would go back to normal pastries instead of the cookies they currently serve, but that's just personal preference.

Very cute cafe with unique drink options and a very nice space for getting work done. Most tables have access to an outlet and I saw many laptops. We tried the matcha drop and espresso tonic. The espresso tonic was very refreshing and light. The matcha drop was a pretty drink but the flavour was flat. I drink matcha nearly everyday and didn't find this matcha to be especially good. We also got the matcha cookie and it was decent. I'd come to this place again to try other drinks or meet with friends.

I chose to find a nice little coffee shop close to my barber, and while I waited for my appointment, I waited here while trying some of their highly reviewed items. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel from the fridge along with their matcha drop (hot). I was thoroughly surprised with the matcha drop! It was delicious and sweet. The cold foam top was a great touch, along with the rest of the drop series drinks. I enjoyed it so much that I grabbed the cold brew drop as well as the vanilla drop for my barber. They look great so I know we will enjoy them as much as the matcha drop! The ambiance was quiet and not too crowded at the time I went which is nice for a Sunday morning! Lots of people were studying or meeting up with friends so I would definitely recommend Lunar!

The drinks here are average at best, especially considering the higher prices. The service at this spot seems to have earned its reputation, and after reading through reviews, it’s clear why. Though the interior does offer a decent spot to sit and relax.
