Really love this coffee shop for the minimalist vibe + affordable coffee!
Peaceful, soothing, minimalist aesthetic vibe, with interesting artwork and plants. Would be a great place to study or sit with friends when things open up. Even during this time though, there is a small patio seating area outside (~ 4 seats), as well as a little courtyard that we sit on sometimes.
They have great espresso-based drinks that are affordably priced (e.g., flat white for $3.50), and they always take care to craft it well. There are some interesting items on the menu as well, such as the cream drop (espresso + whipped cream?) and the espresso tonic (espresso + sparkling water). Just for comparison... Sorry Coffee around the corner also uses Seth Taylor beans and their drinks cost 10-20% more!)
Food selection is great as well, they have small toasts and sandwiches, as well as cookies and scones. We've tried the matcha pistachio scone and the chocolate walnut cookie and both were great, though I prefer my cookies a bit more gooey and crispy, so preferred the scone over the cookie. The scone was great - not too sweet and not too dry!
For those looking for early bird specials, they have 10% off food + drink combo if you order from 8am - 11am :)
Lastly, they also have dried flowers for sale from Thyme Studios, as well as high quality merch (branded Kinto tumblers, cute tote bag with their logo, and pourover coffee makers and filters).
