The only positive aspect of this place is its location. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience falls short, particularly in terms of pricing and transparency. Drinks are significantly overpriced for what is offered. A single beer costs 100 MXN, and cocktails start at 200 MXN and go higher, which already makes it an expensive option for casual or individual consumption. Despite these high prices, the value does not match the cost. What made the experience especially frustrating was the lack of clear communication regarding their consumption policy. After I had already ordered a drink and was seated at the table, I was informed that every person at the table was required to order a drink, regardless of whether they intended to consume or not. This policy was not disclosed beforehand, neither at the entrance nor when we were seated. I specifically asked if this minimum consumption rule was communicated in advance, and the answer was no. Enforcing rules only after customers are already seated and have begun ordering creates a misleading and uncomfortable situation. At these price points, this approach feels unprofessional and poorly managed. Transparency and honesty are fundamental in the hospitality industry. Clear information about pricing and minimum consumption policies should be provided upfront so customers can make informed decisions. Unfortunately, this was not the case here, and it negatively impacted the overall experience. Given the prices, the lack of transparency, and the way the policy was enforced, this is not a place I would recommend. A better focus on clear communication and fair customer treatment would be necessary to improve.

What a fun place!!! We went with a group of friends and ended up staying till 2am. The live music was exceptional, the servers were top notch and the ambiance was really fun. If you’re looking for live salsa, and a fun no judgement relaxed environment where you can dance the night away, I would go here.

BEWARE: We went for live salsa music. The band was just okay. We went over there on Tuesday and the place was empty. The service was horrible. They tried to overcharge me double for two margarita drinks, BEWARE they will try to scam you

Everybody that works there is so attentive and kind. The music is amazing. Just go and experience it for yourself! It won’t disappoint :)

Worst nightmare to go out. Service is horrible, drinks are overpriced. The guy in the entrance tried to keep my Balenciaga cap… with no reason. If you want to have fun don’t come here

FYI - This place attracts a lot of foreigners. A nice-looking space, and the live band was tight, but I wouldn’t come here expecting the most authentic Chilango experience.

I couldn't get in, the greatest bold hair with beard guy made me wait 30 mins while other people were able to get in, I felt discriminated with this behavior and then leave. I won't go back again, I'm traveling and I'm not deserve this behavior

The experience was terrible. We were made to wait out on the street for a table we had previously reserved, even though the place was empty. The waiters kept pressuring us to drink quickly in order to sell more bottles of alcohol. They even went so far as to threaten to take our table away if we didn’t comply, and they did so in a very aggressive manner. Things kept getting worse, and we couldn’t enjoy the music at all. We felt like they were acting like policemen and we were in prison. Local people seemed to be treated with even less respect, which made the entire experience even more uncomfortable.

This place is so great. It's a traditional dance hall where men can buy dances for 30 pesos, but everyone goes, even hipsters who can't really dance salsa and cumbia get up on stage and shake it. It was the best dancing experience of my life because everyone felt so free and expressive. Great band, and lots of hardcore cumbia, even Angeles Azules. Love love love it.
