Can't wait to do this again! We enjoyed a nice boat ride on 9/11 to see the lights of the city. The boat was perfect and was well staffed. Captain Daniel and his crew did a great job getting us out to see the lights. The seats and tables inside were nice and comfy, but we chose to sit outside for the majority of the trip. They offered cocktails and also sold some light snacks. Nice jazz music played on the speakers located throughout the deck. Captain pulled us close to the statue for pictures as well as very close to the Brooklyn Bridge. I'm excited to one day see these same buildings during day the on this same tour group. 5 stars for a great evening!

If you're looking for a truly memorable way to experience the sights and energy of New York City, I can't recommend the Classic Harbor Line cruise highly enough. I recently went on their New York Sunset Cruise and had a memorable time from start to finish. Offering amazing views of the iconic Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty, this cruise was the highlight of our trip and a great way to see famous landmarks in one sitting. An added touch was your own assigned table, outer deck access to take in the views and enjoyable music. I also appreciated that the cruise was not overcrowded, providing space for everyone to enjoy. The crew did a great job narrating and providing excellent service through out the tour. Overall, this cruise provides you a fresh vantage point and it is an incredible way to spend an evening in NYC. I will definitely book again with no hesitation.

I was on a four hour sail along Hudson River, this is a fall foliage cruise on a beautiful brand new Adirondack IV. I enjoyed everything about this tour 🧡 weather was perfect and sunny, very light breeze. Crew is exceptionally friendly, fun, interesting and intelligent. Captain Yuriy shared a lot of details about sailing and this particular boat we were on. They also took a wonderful care of all of us - making sure we had drinks, hot tea, snacks and blankets. Lisa is a fantastic photographer too! Captain Yuriy and the crew, thank you for a beautiful experience and safe fun sailing! Tips: do bring extra extra layers (including hats and gloves). During my cruise the weather was sunny and almost no wind, but once we got some light breeze on the way back it got chilly pretty quick.

What an absolutely phenomenal way to see the best of the city skyline and truly the only way to see the Statue of Liberty. Aaron, Grant & Sam were outstanding hosts for our sunset cruise, making perfect cocktails and appetizers which we enjoyed while soaking in an incredible view. Our family visiting from out of the country loved every minute of this experience and we highly recommend this company and their staff to anyone wanting a truly New York memory!

The perfect thing to do on a clear day. This was quite a refreshing view of the skyline and scenery of NYC and neighboring boroughs.

We've sailed on this line 3 times in one year. The first was on one of their sailboats, America 2.0. The 2nd and 3rd times were on our wedding day and anniversry, respectively. All 3 times we were treated to a beautiful tour of the island with wonderful, friendly service. I honestly can't think of a single thing to complain about. Whether you're new in town or just looking for a relaxing weekend activity, I'd definitely recommend sailing on one of Classic Harbor's boats. Don't forget the sunscreen, if you're fair-skinned like me!

We took the 1.5 hour sightseeing cruise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great views of the city and especially great photo opportunity with my family and Statue of Liberty. Highly recommend

Don't miss this Sunset Sail around NYC! Perfect fall weather & they had some blankets for the chill after sunset. Gorgeous & charming sail boat with lovely crew. This is so classy it forces NYC natives to keep it classy. Bravo to the newest ship in the fleet & her amazing crew. We have also been on the Architecture tour boat with NYC Architect docent and I would highly recommend that one too!

Wish I wasn't giving such a low score because staff was amazing and overall we had a lovely time ! But there are some things we really didn't like/were aware of. 1. The boat we were on was not the one on the photos with the green booths to the side. We were on a much larger boat with A LOT of other people and our seats were just regular tables/chairs. 2. We were sharing our table with another family. This was not mentioned ANYWHERE in our reservation. This really upset me because the way that they word their tickets is that you pay more for 2-3 people because "A premium for smaller bookings due to the defined private seating spaces," yet our table was NOT private. 3. I know the weather is out of their control, however, this is a sightseeing cruise, if its foggy outside and we aren't able to see the sights, then we aren't seeing anything ! Additionally, the top deck was closed because it was slippery/raining. It would have been nice if they would have offered to reschedule our cruise for a better day. Their email confirmation does say it is a rain or shine event so I guess I'll give them that, but I honestly think offering to rebook for foggy/rainy days when you know your customers wont be able to see anything from the boat is the right thing to do! I had a white cosmo and it was really good, the bartender was amazing! My partner had a "spiked" cocoa, but we didn't really taste any of the baileys. We ordered the cheese tray and it was really good as well, our baby really enjoyed it, a bit overpriced for three cheeses but whatever. Cookies were good too, and they brought a cake out for my partner's birthday, the buttercream was delicious ! But the cake itself was dry. We might give this another try in the spring/summertime see if its any better. So far we left with a sour taste in our mouth.

Did the Sunset Sparkling Wine tour. Fantastic experience. A must do if you're visiting. They took us out on the Hudson River where we got a fabulous view of the famed Manhattan skyline and NYC in general. Once we got near the Statue of Liberty, they slowed down and allowed everyone to do photo ops. We got 2 wines per ticket then it's open bar. The ride is a little bumpy in the beginning but once the boat accelerated, it became smoother. It's a little pricier than some of the other tour boats but you're not packed in like sardines. In fact you get your own table like in a dining room. Once the boat got moving, they allowed us to walk and cruise outside in the bow. Which was really fun! Ladies, just make sure you dress appropriately for windy conditions. I saw one young lady in a nightcluby dress and she spent most of her time holding it down. The golden hour lighting during the sunset tour was perfect for photos. Especially when it shimmered and reflected off the tall glass buildings. The crew was great! They walked around, answered questions helped us with photos . Of course we left them a nice tip. Would do this tour again in a New York heartbeat on our next visit! Happy Traveling!

A girlfriend and I took the brunch cruise around Manhattan and it was one of the highlights of the trip! Can't beat the water line views and tasty snacks. Highly recommend! Bring sunglasses on a sunny day.

The ladies that took care of us on Classic Harbor Line were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, professional, and courteous in making sure we were constantly replenished on our drinks, taking quality photos of us, and overall taking care of us. When we told the staff it was me and my girlfriends birthdays this month, she provided us 2 desserts for each of us. We were stunned by the beautiful voyage that allowed us to see the stunning city that is New York and admire lady liberty from close up. Highly recommend this to locals and tourists alike to give this tour a chance - you won't be disappointed

Had an amazing time celebrating with my family. The captain and crew were extremely kind. The ride was extremely smooth, food excellent, and a great ride seeing New York and New Jersey riverside.

The crew was professional, friendly, and kind. I live in NYC but felt far away from daily life. Such a different perspective. Afterwards, you can walk around Chelsea Piers. I had to rebook and they were completely understanding. I would definitely return!

My group of 6 did a sunset tour and it did not disappoint!! Everything was perfect!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views were incredible!! I definitely recommend this to anybody and everybody!

Did the architecture tour, which circumnavigates the entire island of Manhattan. This was a wonderfully informative cruise, with a professional, certified architect narrating the entire way. Do note that this is not a cruise for conversation, because people will be listening to the information throughout the 2.75-hour cruise. Due to navigating conditions, we went clockwise around the island rather than counter-clockwise as they normally do, so we went north up the Hudson, across the Harlem River and then down the East River to the Battery, before coming back up the Hudson to the Chelsea Pier where the tours depart. The narration is fascinating and thorough and the cruise is paced so that there is no time to get bored before the next landmark or interesting tidbit comes up. Once we got to the Battery, the yacht took us out very close to the Statue of Liberty for some great photo opportunities. We did the mimosa package, which was a nice and reasonably-priced add-on. The staff were all highly professional and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to take another journey with this operation.

The architectural sail tour by the Classic Harbor Lines with the Met museum guide was amazing. Great crew was welcoming. The yacht was very comfortable with the clean toilets, drinks and snacks. The trip took us around Manhattan island with all the amazing building being pointed out by the guide. Live narration was very interesting. We learned a lot. Highly recommended!

Got a great view of the Statue of Liberty and all of Manhattan island. This two hour boat ride gives a three course meal and drinks. It was fantastic. Crew is great! Five stars

Fantastic. Absolutely Fantastic! Great views. Wonderful for photos! Good food: one drink included, fruit plate, pastries, toppings for bagel plate with assortment of bagels, veggie frittata served with chicken sausage and a salad. Anndd if you want a cookie plate. You'll be happily stuffed! Service was excellent-- tip them well! This was the perfect activity for a beautiful day over Memorial Day weekend. Would definitely do this again!

I booked a private tour for a small group of about 42 people. From the beginning process all the way through to the completion of the event the staff was amazing. Very thorough and willing to accommodate my requests. Everything happened with precision and just as promised. It was wonderful.

Enjoyed an Evening Jazz Cruise Aboard Manhattan in August. The boat is not big (perfect size), and very clean. Jazz was subtle. All the crew members were very nice, respecting customers' privacy and showed the willingness to help if any. Enjoyed very much and recommending this to everyone.

Was there for a dockside film screening of Windshipped. Was on Manhattan II. What a gorgeous boat! Encouraged to go for a cruise. Only reason I gave it Good but not Great is because we didn't travel. Lots of drinks available plus a lovely bathroom and much forward deckspace.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful vessel, incredible information and scenery, and first class service. This was without a doubt one of, if not the highlight of our one week vacation in New York.

Amazing!!! What a lovely experience! My hubby and I did the architecture tour as part of our anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. The boat is BEAUTIFUL! Once boarded we had a lovely nook to ourselves. Your ticket includes a complimentary beverage. We purchased the mimosa bucket and a charcuterie plate, and seasoned olives. All great quality and fast. The staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient. The tour was great! Informative and quite interesting. The gentleman providing the tour was knowledgeable without being pretentious or stuffy, and it was a pleasure to hear the information about the landmarks. I highly recommend this tour and this company!

We had an incredible experience on our schooner cruise along the Hudson River! The sights were breathtaking, and the service was nothing short of amazing. The Urban Naturalist Sunset Cruise was beyond our expectations! Loved every minute! The guide was incredibly informative without being boring. We live in NYC but learned so much and saw beautiful birds.

Collin, Albert, and Lisa were and Lisa were incredibly kind and attentive. If you want a lovely evening I highly recommend taking the boat ride with them!

We've had the pleasure to cruise 3x on the Manhattan and Manhattan II so far. The evening jazz cruise is an annual date for us to celebrate our anniversary and we absolutely love the Boat Band - we purchased a CD our first year and have been very patiently awaiting their second volume! Tickets come with a set of complimentary drinks and we always purchase additional drinks. I mean, how could you not with the fantastic views of the city?? The captain usually announces safety measures with jokes so it starts the trip with a smile. The staff is always friendly and answers any questions you have. I adjusted tickets once and did so with no problems over the phone. Our favorite part is always just resting against each other, drinking our drink and watching the band perform live, with the sun setting behind them. We also did get to experience their holiday cruise and it was just as spectacular - and with holiday cookies!

Celebrated my husband's birthday on the eco cruise last night and we were not disappointed! Seeing the city from the water can't be beat and this captain , crew and guide were exceptional. We learned so much from naturalist, Gabriel Willow. He's an excellent storyteller and seamlessly wove the landscape with NYC's rich natural history. Food was great. Highly recommend!

Despite being a rainy and overcast evening, we had a wonderful time aboard Classic Harbor Line's Manhattan. We enjoyed listening to the jazz band. And the complimentary champagne was a treat! My out-of-town guests gushed that it was the highlight of their visit!

Classic Harbor Line's sunset sail on the Schooner Adirondack was such an iconic way to see the city. As a native New Yorker, I don't often find myself in the waters of the Hudson and this was the perfect way to do that in style. The crew couldn't have been nicer, the sailboat was stunning and the views couldn't be beat. This is a must-do activity if you want to impress a loved one from out of town or to reawaken your love for the city. Got to take stunning shots of the Statue of Liberty at sunset and to do that while sipping wine...life doesn't get better than that - Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this boating tour. The lecturer was extremely knowledgeable. The boat is not overcrowded. There is plenty of room inside and on deck. I have done the cheaper trip out to Lady Liberty with the loud music. It's worth the price difference. This trip goes by Statue of Liberty AND all the way around the island.

I had a great time! We got free drinks and the boat ride was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attended to your needs. I definitely would go again. The price was cheaper than other ships yet a nicer experience. 10/10 recommend

Military History Tour of New York Harbor 2 1/2 hours on the Manhattan What a lovely boat and the crew is perfection. The crew was personable and so easy having one drink included with my ticket. Chelsea Piers is easy to find and a lovely place to disembark. There is a clean restroom on the pier. Andrew, the tour guide from Turnstile Tours, shared lots of fascinating information about the military history of the harbor including the Fleet Week visiting ships . Such a treat to see the city from the water in a just-right-sized boat.

A fantastic Mother's Day brunch! The food and drinks are great and the crew is lovely! Would do again!

Took the AIA tour around Manhattan. Been doing this for at least 10 years and twice each year. Food and the service of the crew was, as usual, perfect. The Manhattan 2 is a very comfortable, air-conditioned boat. No better sail out of Manhattan than this. lt's in a different world from the Circle Line. Way better.

We REALLY enjoyed our time here. I did not know what to expect at first, but this sail was smooth, fun, and loaded with drinks! Suzanne (hope I spelled that right) went above and beyond working the boat plus keeping us happy and beerd up! Thank you, and we would 100% do this again the views were incredible. I took the abandoned islands of the east river tour (a nature tour). It was really great! The boat itself is beautiful (a replica of a 1920's commuter boat) and the system for drinks and food and the loud speaker worked perfectly. Super classy! And on top of how pleasant the actual boat/cruise was...the naturalist guide was excellent. Speaking at a level everyone could grasp, highlighting interesting bird behavior and stories about new York's human ecology as well. I learned a lot, and feel much more engaged with my city!

Two of my buddies and I went on the jazz cruise. The music was really great, the boat is beautiful (Manhattan II), and the staff were amazing. All of it combined with the views from the yacht make for an unforgettable experience. It was my first time to NYC, one of my buddies lives in Brooklyn, and the other flew out with me to visit him having been to NYC a few times - we all really enjoyed the experience, including the NYC resident, who had never seen the city this way. I can't think of a better way to take in the city and will likely try to do it again next time I'm out that way. Well worth the cost.

Four of us did a sunset cruise for my boyfriend's birthday aboard the Adirondack Schooner and it was great! The weather was perfect. The staff (Collin, Lisa, and Diana) was very friendly & knowledgeable, we had a nice chat with Collin. We were all impressed with how just the 3 of them sailed the boat with those massive sails! 1 drink (alcoholic or non) is included in the sailing, and more is available for purchase. Highly recommend this tour, we truly enjoyed it!

I went alone and was a little nervous but the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. they were very accommodating to me and all the groups with the drink service, helping to take photos, etc. definitely want to take a cruise on another one of the boats soon!
