North of the harbor on Lavender Bay, Clark Park is an ideal spot for a picnic away from the bustle. On the western end, curious visitors discover the garden Wendy Whiteley created from a landfill. It’s a 10-minute walk from Luna Park and on the other side of Wendy whiteley garden is lavender Bay. It’s also 10-minute or so to blues Point Reserve was is one of few places were you can see 👀 the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House plus the Anzac Bridge.Clark Park in Milsons Point is a quintessential Sydney gem, renowned less for its amenities and more for its unbeatable location and breathtaking views. It's a small, elevated green space that offers a peaceful escape with a spectacular backdrop. 🏞️ The Views: The Main Attraction The park's primary draw is the mesmerizing, elevated panorama it provides. Harbour Bridge & City Skyline: You get stunning, direct views across Lavender Bay to the western side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. It's a fantastic spot for photography, especially around sunset. Lavender Bay: The outlook over the moored boats in Lavender Bay adds a serene, picturesque layer to the scene. Special Occasions: Due to its exceptional vantage point, it's an incredibly popular (and often booked) spot for garden wedding ceremonies and an unofficial favourite for viewing New Year's Eve fireworks. 🧘 Atmosphere & Features Clark Park's atmosphere is one of tranquility and charm, offering a quiet respite from the city's hustle. Lush Setting: The park is characterized by its large trees (including magnificent fig trees) and well-maintained garden beds, providing ample shade and a feeling of seclusion. Picnic Spot: It's an ideal location for a quiet picnic, reading a book, or just reflecting while soaking up the scenery. Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden: A significant feature is its proximity to, and path connections with, Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden, a lush, artistic transformation of a former railway land below the park. Exploring both spaces makes for a wonderful stroll. 🚶 Location & Amenities The park is easily accessible, adding to its appeal, but its facilities are relatively basic, keeping the focus on its natural beauty. Accessibility: It's a short, pleasant walk from Milsons Point Station and the ferry wharf, and close to Luna Park. Amenities: You'll find bench seating and pathways. Some reviews mention a public toilet is available nearby within the larger Lavender Bay Parklands, but the park itself is minimalist. Dog-Friendly: It's a popular spot for dog owners, allowing dogs on a leash. Parking: Metered street parking is available, but it can be scarce, especially on weekends

Great park for picnic under the sunshine by the beach with great view of Harbour bridge. Easily assessable as located just by the road. Lead to Wendy's Secret Garden and Lavender Bay beneath. There are even some turkeys seen wondering at the park! The the car on the road had to give way to the turkey crossing the road!

This park covers a hillside. Taking the stairs to the waterfront is the quickest way to the water, but the meandering path is the prettiest. Lovely trees, expanses of lawn, and some artwork to admire. This is really a beautiful park, with incredible views of the bridge and harbour. During the summer, there seems to be weddings every weekend. But they don't interfere with the atmosphere; they add to it, bringing an air of festivity to a tranquil place. This really is a hidden gem in Sydney.

This hillside is attached to Wendy's secret garden through various pathways along the hillside. There are numerous flowering plants to see and birds that play in the trees. There are lots of places to sit and eat. It is a nice place to just take a walk and enjoy nature. You can get to the bottom of the path through this park but the fastest way is along the stairs.

Nice park to hang out. Reveal with harbour view after enjoying Wendy Whiteley's secret garden. Place to play with your kids, your dog, have a pick nick, watch the bush turkeys or just lay on the grass and glaze at the sky.

A very nice relaxing spot so close to the urban environment of North Sydney and Milson's Point. We love the walk from Lavender Street down to the waters edge.

Cool place with a Harbour View. And, you'll find lots of Statues made by different artists hidden on the Bush along the iconic " The Comic Walk" , all have their own unique names.

Yelp
Clark Park is the perfect place to take your folk for a beautiful but quiet view of Sydney's Harbour and her bridge. Away from the tourist crowds this little park is set amongst some of the oldest and quaintest (and dare I write 'witchy') homes of Kirribilli. From the shady old fig trees at the top you can wander down the path and some pretty steep stair to find a small oasis of green shrubbery. I feel like I'm in a fairly garden or a really good gardener's backyard. Indeed I saw the gardener today rustling about in the forage and he pocked his head out to give me a cheerio as I cycled by. If you take the stairs all the way down under the railway bridge you come to the waters edge. Follow this towards the bridge (that is, the Sydney Harbour Bridge) and you eventually find your way to the back end of Luna Park. Lots of runner use this path but as do strollers as it really is a beautiful and relatively quiet walk merely a stones throw from the CBD.
