Clara Clara, a cafe in the park: Perhaps not a culinary destination, but a fine place to sit in the park and drink watered down coffee with a side of free wifi. The kiosk cafe overlooks the Tejo River in a leafy park near the Feira da Ladra flea market.

We rented an apartment at Campo da Santa Clara, when we saw this charming kiosk in the park. We went for our morning coffee or a quick lunch for several days in a row. Best times of the day! Going for a drink in the late afternoon or evening can be crowded. The small park is used by the locals for get togethers, childs birthdays and walking their dogs. Find a table, order a drink and a small bite at the counter and you're in a different world. Enjoy the buzz of people in the park and make small talk to those at the other tables. We met friendly people only. The guys at the kiosk are the friendliest. And about the prices. These are not to worry about. Locals can afford these too. If you had a nice visit at the kiosk, don't forget to tip.

Busy on Sunday market day so maybe you have to wait for a table. Service at the table prompt despite a queue at the kiosk itself! Obviously most tourists don’t realise it’s table service (our local host helps again!). As a result good value for money! Nice view of Mausoleum. Weather got blustery so people left quickly! Outdoor Gym adjacent to work off those calories!

Lovely park based cafe with a nice choice of snacks, however when there was confusion with our order both the waiter and cook were very argumentative and more than a little angry with us. What happened to a polite apology and sorting the customer out. The waiter did eventually give us an apology of sorts though…

Can have a bit of a queue on Saturdays during the market, but a great spot to stop and rest in the shade with some light bites. Very good prices. Humus was very nice! Can see a bit of the river from the cafe.

Cute café right next to the flea market on the Saturday, very calm compared to the other ones around. Lemonade was too sour but the croissants were tasty :)

Nice little café, lovely location. Crew was stressed though and not very polite, even rude. Maybe due to the Saturday flea market "rush hour".

Yelp
Great little cafe with free wifi and an amazing view of Lisbon. The menu features classic cafe items like sandwiches, pastries and coffees. It is completely outdoors and runs out of a small kiosk. You can stay as long as you like and the park setting is perfect for relaxing a bit during a day of traveling around Lisbon. For English speakers, the staff were very friendly and helpful when determining which items were vegetarian and other questions we had. The view is so good, I'd recommend seeking this place out if you're in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Clara Clare cafe can be found in the Jardim Botto Macado. This is a little park just behind the Sao Vicente church. This place is great for (late) breakfast and or lunch. Real nice place to relax under the trees in the park. Lisbon so nice !! Oeps allmost forgot to mention the great coffee and pastries they serve. Yummm

Yelp
Very good place to go in the afternoon to relax. I ordered one empada, one homemade ice tee and one sandwich with chèvre cheese and ham. It's incredible, I loved it. And as a bonus you have one of the most beautiful views of Lisbon.
