Cipriani Yas Island

I attended the New Year event, and while the vibes and atmosphere were great, the food was very cold. It seemed like everything had been cooked the day before and just reheated. We had to wait 15 minutes for a waiter to pay attention to us and replace the dishes, and another 10 minutes just to get a straw. Really disappointed with my first visit.”

Today we visited Cipriani with our family of four, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were seated at a table, but we had to wait a very long time for everything. The waiter barely paid any attention to our table – he didn’t check on us, didn’t clean up, and the table was left dirty. Next to us, there was a larger group of about 7-8 people who arrived after us, yet they were served much faster and had finished eating before us, even though they were a larger group. This was particularly frustrating as we were still waiting for our main courses, while they were already enjoying their desserts. Additionally, at two tables nearby, there were children using their phones very loudly. One child was watching a movie, and the other was playing a game, likely a shooting game. Both phones were set to a very loud volume, which was extremely annoying and disrupted the atmosphere. The staff didn’t address this issue at all, which made it even more unpleasant. On top of that, my husband and son received their main courses, but I was still waiting for mine. It was a very uncomfortable situation as they had already started eating, and I still didn’t have my dish. To make matters worse, my husband ordered a single espresso at the very beginning, but we never received it. The food itself was of poor quality, which only added to the overall disappointment. My daughter had to leave the restaurant earlier, and her plate with leftover food stayed on the table for over 20 minutes along with empty Coca-Cola bottles. None of the waiters bothered to clean it up, which was very unprofessional. When it comes to service, Cipriani in Dubai offers a top-notch experience – elegant and professional. Unfortunately, the service at Cipriani in Abu Dhabi is terrible. The staff showed no engagement or care for the guests, which completely ruined the experience. Although the food in general is often praised, this time both the food and the service were far below expectations, leaving us deeply disappointed.

Was hoping not to post this but after waiting EIGHT DAYS for a response to my initial email and receiving a dismissive, generic reply, I feel compelled to share my experience here. We were greeted by a rather cold and unwelcoming hostess who guided us to a small table outside, located right next to the waiters’ station. The table was cramped, and the area felt far from the pleasant dining atmosphere I had envisioned for my birthday. I politely inquired whether another table might be available, as the majority of the outside seating was empty and there were plenty of tables inside. However, I was told that all other tables were reserved, leaving us with the option of the cramped table next to the staff area or one directly behind it. At this point, I explained to the hostess that I wasn’t comfortable with that seating arrangement and kindly asked for a different table. I also mentioned that if no other table was available, I would prefer to leave. To my surprise, she simply replied with “okay,” and immediately escorted us out of the restaurant, without offering any further explanation or attempting to address my concerns. This lack of empathy and unwillingness to make the situation right was particularly upsetting. I have never encountered such an unaccommodating response from a restaurant of your reputation. A simple acknowledgment of my discomfort, an apology, or perhaps offering the option to wait for a better table, would have been appreciated. Instead, I felt completely dismissed and disrespected. After being ushered out, we no longer felt comfortable or welcome and left without dining.

The food was absolutely amazing, Alessio who was taking care if us was amazing, Fabiana never missed to check on us and make us feel like at home. Aya was very helpful and courteous, while taking our reservation. All in all it was an amazi g experience. Definitely will come next time have a seat outdoors so I can give 5⭐️for atmosphere as well.

It has a really nice sitting area outside when the weather is good. The staff are so helpful too. We celebrated my sisters birthday there and she enjoyed it 😋

Very good food. Main dishes portions can be slightly larger. I’d like to note that my pasta was cooked aldente perfectly! Beautiful terrace seating area, and excellent service. Recommend

Nice personnel, spectacular view, good drinks and elegant ambient. But: The food itself was good (nothing more) and considering that, the price was shockingly high. If you want to have a beautiful evening at a noble location and don't want to keep an eye on money, I can recommend the restaurant. If you want to watch your spendings even a little bit - don't go there.
