Today we visited Cipriani with our family of four, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were seated at a table, but we had to wait a very long time for everything. The waiter barely paid any attention to our table – he didn’t check on us, didn’t clean up, and the table was left dirty.
Next to us, there was a larger group of about 7-8 people who arrived after us, yet they were served much faster and had finished eating before us, even though they were a larger group. This was particularly frustrating as we were still waiting for our main courses, while they were already enjoying their desserts.
Additionally, at two tables nearby, there were children using their phones very loudly. One child was watching a movie, and the other was playing a game, likely a shooting game. Both phones were set to a very loud volume, which was extremely annoying and disrupted the atmosphere. The staff didn’t address this issue at all, which made it even more unpleasant.
On top of that, my husband and son received their main courses, but I was still waiting for mine. It was a very uncomfortable situation as they had already started eating, and I still didn’t have my dish.
To make matters worse, my husband ordered a single espresso at the very beginning, but we never received it. The food itself was of poor quality, which only added to the overall disappointment.
My daughter had to leave the restaurant earlier, and her plate with leftover food stayed on the table for over 20 minutes along with empty Coca-Cola bottles. None of the waiters bothered to clean it up, which was very unprofessional.
When it comes to service, Cipriani in Dubai offers a top-notch experience – elegant and professional. Unfortunately, the service at Cipriani in Abu Dhabi is terrible. The staff showed no engagement or care for the guests, which completely ruined the experience. Although the food in general is often praised, this time both the food and the service were far below expectations, leaving us deeply disappointed.
