We got a discount due to staying in the hotel upstairs，but surprisingly this is clearly one of the better restaurants in town. Excellent trout, very good alpaca. octopus was not my fave. Appetizers were great home made chips. and they make their own sodas. good vibes.

It is impressive that such a small and touristic place, such as Aguas Calientes, can still offer great food experiences. Everything was great: food, service and the place. On the upside is the duck dish, which was amazing. On the downside, the beer was too expensive for its quality.

First night we were in town we tried this restaurant. Was wanting a steak after a long days travel and let me tell you the grilled steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. Even more so the Alfredo pasta that came with it was mind blowing good!!! I was amazed at the flavor the pasta had!! Definitely a good restaurant with a nice atmosphere!

I have to be honest, I usually give 4 stars to restaurants because I don’t like giving 5 stars unless it’s worth it. With that being said I have to say this place REALLY knows what they are doing as far as flavor of food to the service. The staff were a bit busy due to the many people there but I got a table fast. My wife got a chaufa and I had the pork belly cracklings and with a desert of tres leche. Every single dish I have to say was 5/5. If you’re visiting the city of Agua Calientes and want good food, come to ponchos!

Wonderful duck dinner! Staying at the hotel saves you some $. I had lunch there 2 days later and it was superb. The staff is incredibly nice, the drinks are great, and after trying 3 other restaurants in town I can say this is the best food I’ve had in Machu Picchu.

This was an incredible restaurant that we stumbled upon in Aguas Calientes!! I had the best pisco sour of my trip and our food was absolutely delicious. Ruth, our server, was very kind and attentive to our needs. We would definitely come back if we had more time!!

Luckily we came across this beautiful restaurant. The food was the best we had in Peru so far. Very tasty and with local ingredients. We had to come back the same day for dinner too. Highly recommended it.

We came here tired from machu picchu and wanted something good. I would say, best restaurant we tried in aguas calientes and better than we’ve tried in cusco. Everything we ate was so good!! All meat were so tender. Tenderloin has a pumpkin sauce that is so good. Octopus was cooked perfectly. Each of us got desserts which are so good, we had tres leches and tiramisu. Judith is so attentive to our requests. I asked for a stronger drink and I was given a strong pisco sour. Thank you so much!
