Chùa Linh Ứng

Words cannot express how beautiful this temple is. The gorgeous gigantic guan yin statue was worth the trip. The views were breathtaking. The cutest part of this temple were the wild monkeys living here. You'll see them swinging from trees to trees. Some will even come down close enough for you to snap a photo. This temple is a must visit!!!

This place is not just a Buddhist temple. It's an incredibly beautiful garden with gorgeous banyan trees and one of the biggest (if not the biggest) collection of bonsai trees outside of Japan. Each bonsai tree is planted in the pot which looks more like a piece of art. Words cannot describe it, frankly, it's mesmerising. Marble Lady Buddha is astonishing. The temple complex is located on the hills and the view from there is astonishing. The complex is surrounded by forest and monkeys tend to come down here. When we were visiting a large group of monkeys were walking around the complex and eating fruits from the trees there. It's not recommended to feed the monkeys! They also were very well-behaved and didn't ask for anything, tried to ignore people as much as possible. There is a small shop in there with some snacks and water. However, it's overpriced, I would not recommend. The best way getting there as everywhere in Vietnam - use Grab. It's very close from anywhere in Da Nang. There are drivers near the temple complex waiting for tourists to travel back, but these are not official taxis and I would recommend using Grab on the way back as well. Mind that mobile reception there is bad, so if you rely on the Internet it would be tough. However, there is a free wifi from the temple shop which is useful.

Exceptionally beautiful Buddhist temple in Da Nang, Vietnam 🇻🇳 It is located on Son Tra Mountain Peninsula, just next to Lady Buddha Statue. There is quite a big parking space for this, which I am not sure if it is paid or not. You will see such a huge collection of beautifully curated Bonsai trees. I never saw that. I would recommend going at night as it was very peaceful and less crowded at that time. I think it is highly influenced by Chinese architecture and culture. Date of Visit - 6th September, 2024

The Buddhist temple and statue were impressive and serene. The architecture of the temple was stunning, with intricate details and beautiful gardens. One of the highlights was the panoramic view of the city, which was absolutely breathtaking. The site was a great place to relax and take in the beauty of both the man-made and natural surroundings. We visited on a weekend, and it quite crowded. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Free to enter, pay to park. Don’t need a tour guide, just show up We have not gone to this for several months. I must have not reviewed it. It is just outside of Da nang and the views along the way are amazing. I would recommend stopping and take a few pictures. When you pull in, they have bus parking and bike parking separate. Lots of stairs to lots of different attractions at this location. Lady Budda, temples and garden areas. They have a snack area and items to buy. Be careful of the thieves in this area. They will sneak up and grab you food items, before they leap away and up a tree or top of a building. The little dogs around the temples are not friendly. Very good time and very beautiful area.

This temple is an absolutely stunning site and one of Da Nang's most iconic landmarks, home to the impressive Lady Buddha statue. You can even spot this magnificent statue from the beach or when flying into the city. In my opinion, it's one of the most beautiful and largest Lady Buddha statues in Asia, perhaps even the world. Her serene face truly embodies compassion and grace. Every time I visit this temple, I feel a sense of calm and inner peace. Beyond the spiritual experience, the temple also offers breathtaking views of all of Da Nang, making it a perfect spot for reflection and photography. I highly recommend visiting by motorbike or scooter, as parking for cars can be a bit tricky. Even if you’re not religious, this is a must-see destination, offering beauty, tranquility, and a unique perspective of the city.
