We are happy to find a decent Chinese food on west side, 5 min drive from UCLA. I like delicious food, not too oily or spicy, good atmosphere and easy parking. We like General Tso's chicken and Shrimp toast. Pam is very friendly and helpful! Recommend this place if you come to West LA.

My 1st experience ever was very memorable! We celebrated my y brother in law's birthday. Our waiter Andrew is the best! Very polite, very friendly, always checking in on us. He was not irritated by the many orders &requests all around, party of 12! The manager Marc was also very polite, very professional, adding to the great service we had and helped with the serving as well. Highly recommended! Thank you Chin Chin!!! 🤩🥳🤗

Had my birthday dinner with family at this location. The food, as was in our previous visit, was delicious and came quickly after ordering. The night market noodles were a crowd favorite but everything we ate was great. Andrew and Marc’s service made our family feel welcomed right away and the service throughout our dinner was superb. Will continue returning.

Today’s experience at Chin Chin was a memorable one. We celebrated my uncles 60th birthday, we were a total of 14 people. Our server was Andrew, his energy was over the top and he seemed very comfortable handling such a huge party. He took our drink order efficiently and was ready to take our appetizer & main course order at a perfect time. Throughout the night Andrew had many tables and was the only server. The manager Marc made sure to still check on us, refill our drinks and clear our dishes. On the way out another manager by the name of Roxana made sure to ask us about our experience, she then gave us fortune cookies. Overall, great team work! & very tasty food! Always consistent, we will definitely be back to celebrate another family member. Thank you Chin Chin!

When a reservation in Brentwood for my Mom's 90th birthday fell through, she and I found our way to Chin Chin & had the best meal & interaction w/the staff & general manager Roxana. The food was delicious as always from the Chinese Chicken Salad to the Lettuce Cups - so good. By mistake I left my wallet in the booth. They had already closed when I tried calling. However in 10 min of sending an email to them, the general manager, Roxana, messaged me back assuring me it would top priority to locate it the next morning. And this is exactly what transpired. I had my wallet back in my hands by 10:30am. The Brentwood Team relies on integrity and character to guide the moral compass of this establishment & the chef and his team are behind the scenes cooking up deliciousness. I highly recommend this Chin Chin location for a fun dining experience. You'll be well taken care of.

What can I say. Came with family to enjoy good food on a beautiful Sunday. We were greeted by Marc, a very warm manager and our server Andrew was so welcoming to us. Thank you both for making this dinner a pleasant one.

I had a lovely birthday dinner celebration for my man at Chin Chin in Brentwood, and we had a fantastic time, especially thanks to the exceptional service. We met the General Manager, Roxanne, and her warm and welcoming vibe made the experience even better. She’s done a wonderful job creating an inviting atmosphere, and she and her team consistently provide standout service.

Have been hearing great things about ChinChin and we finally had to give this spot a try in Brentwood, Los Angeles!  Location we went to... The brown sauce was the vegetarian option, so we went with the brown sauce.  Was pleasantly surprised by the portion of the lunch special along with the soup size. I am always used to a tiny cup like 4 to 6 oz  of soup for lunch specials but here at chin chin you actually get a great size of soup like 12-14 oz of soup. I am a soup person so I was grateful and surprised.  3 Appetizers + 2 Entrees + 2 Noodles Dishes  (I told you we came hungry)  -The New Garlic Chilli Crips wontons (17) "Appetizers/Shareables" House-made chicken wontons tossed in a spicy garlic broth, tossed with oil and sesame seeds. -Wonton Stars (16) "Appetizers/Shareables" Crispy wontons filled with crab cream cheese and green onions. For the new garlic chili crips wontons I have been wanting wontons and so i was taking a shot in the dark to see if i like it and i loved it! I thought it was going to be really spicy since it has the word chilli in it but the chili is acutely for flavor and not for spice if you know what i mean?!? All i have to say is ... I loved it! I just had the best meal at Chin Chin! It was pleasantly busy and I loved the ambiance. We asked our server Pam for recs and she didn't fail! Definitely get the green beans! We ordered three dishes even though we asked her how many would be enough and she said 2. We said we could take the leftovers home. So right near the end of our meal, she brought us boxes without asking!! Also served our tea and gave us extra hot water when we ran out in a cute small pot! I had a good time. Thanks Pam! Also I ordered DoorDash once from here and was so pleasantly surprised! Apparently the patio is dog friendly?!

Only tried their classic Chinese chicken salad, but based on that I'd say this place is worth a try at least! I like that they've been making this salad the same way since they opened. It's still good and, for the price, you probably won't find a better one. Fresh ingredients, tasty dressing, simple and effective.

Come here very frequently - best Chinese restaurant in Brentwood. Highly recommend General Tso Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Mongolian Beef. All 10/10. Service exceptional, particularly Pam. Will return again soon!

Bedr food ever!!! It was our first time here, me and my mom brought my dad for his birthday, our server Pam was so sweet and helpful. the food has amazing flavor and the chicken wonton soup is soooo good. the orange chicken is perfectly cooked, it's a little crunchy with the perfect amount of sauce. chciken fried rice is phenomenal!!! the place is clean and pretty spacious and the staff is so friendly. 10/10 i highly recommend coming here!!!

Took my wife here 30 years ago on our first date. Haven't been here in over two decades. Same old awesome Chinese chicken salad. Also our server Angel was an angel.

Solid Chinese food for the neighborhood + very nice service from Pam. Really enjoyed their lo Mein + tofu.

The food and ambiance were great! I appreciated that our food came faster than expected. We ordered the appetizer of the garlic chili chicken wontons to start, they were delicious!!!!! I can eat them forever! As for entrees with did the Mongolian beef 4/5, orange chicken 4/5, honey walnut shrimp 5/5, beef chow mein 5/5, broccoli 3/5. Our server Pam was attentive! I will definitely come back!

I was amazed the last time I went to Chinchin's. The food had fallen off, especially at the sunset location I was surprised they have remodeled this location. It's much smaller. The food was much better. I enjoyed everything. The seasoning was great. The service was outstanding Anthony and Jesse were fantastic servers they went above and beyond, I love the smoked pepper steak. The side orders were beautiful They have great parking, easy access

The place when we went was empty. However, we were already there and decided to sit down and have some food. We didn't get a lot as we weren't hungry but none of the food was very good. My friend had the Bok Choi and said it was fine and my other friend had the chicken lo mein and said it was really bland. I had the shrimp toast and enjoyed it but found it to be a bit greasy and not as flavorful as I hoped. The decor is kind of boring but nothing wrong with it. The place is clean. The servers were really attentive given that there was no one there but it felt a little awkward being waited on by two guys. Overall not a great experience. Will not be coming back.

Dined at Chin Chin on Monday and the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes considering we wanted to try it all. We started off with the appetizers and ordered Garlic Chili Crisp Wontons, Chicken Dumplings, BBQ Pork Ribs. All was delicious, tasty, and flavorful. For entrees we ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad, General TSO Chicken, Fried Rice, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Mongolian Style BBQ Beef, and Garlic Green Beans. Our Top recommendations would be the Chicken Dumplings, BBQ Pork Ribs, General TSO Chicken, Mongolian Style BBQ Beef and Fried Rice. At the end of your dining experience they give you these fortune cookies and they are FANTASTIC, we're talking its the cookie in itself that brings good fortune. So next time you're in Brentwood or near their other locations try must them out. We celebrated the sister from another mister's birthday - so we finally had a reason for Chinese chicken salad. Chin chin has really updated their decor and their outside patio will be perfect for the summer days to come! Pam was the absolute best - she was very attentive to our group and our glasses never went empty! The food remains as delicious as I had mentioned in my previous review 12 years ago. The Chinese chicken salad will forever be part of our dinner rotation.

I've been coming to Chin Chin for almost 20yrs and they are consistently proving quality food and service is possible! This time I ordered their shrimp toast, chicken pot stickers, and the Chinese chicken salad. All 10/10. Ambiance is always mellow and the views are nice. See y'all next time!

Good food good service after all years i hadn't been since 1999 its still great food No my pool my pool stuff is legit Joseph that's kind of make massive. Aldo server was very generous and kind place was nice and clean. I'm a perfectionist and very transparent about quality since I provide glove customer support. he also overheard him in my friend talking about was my birthday the week before, and he was generous to bring out a cheesecake and sing happy birthday.

One of the best Chinese food I've had in LA! i highly recommend the pepper steak and a general tso's chicken with white meat instead of dark. They have the best appetizers, especially the shrimp toast. It was so good we had to order 2 plates. Mark was outstanding and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

Been coming here for my entire life and the food is a 10 out of 10 However, tonight I had a really bad experience with the service. I placed a to go order through Uber eats and came to pick it up. Mind you I'm starving and really looking forward to picking up my food. It's already been paid for through the app and everything I get there and it's sitting behind the desk but no one's at the desk it takes for about at least five minutes for someone to even acknowledge me, then the girl at the front spends an obscene amount of time on the phone taking an order And talking to other customers . All I wanted to do was just grab my food and go and when I told her my foods ready I just need to grab it. She was so rude to me and made me wait even further just to spite me. why even be in the service industry if you're going to be rude now I have to eat my cold food because she wanted to have a long conversation on the phone and ignore me. do better chin chin. Your service sucks.

My fiance and I love grabbing a bite at Chin Chin when we want something quick and casual. Our favorites are the orange chicken, Mongolian beef and fried rice. We also love when Pam is our server. She is the best! Super friendly service and very attentive. Chin chin is one of our favorite Chinese food spots in the Brentwood area!

Chin chin is the best spot in the neighborhood for classic Chinese dishes! The lettuce wraps and chow mein are my go-to but you can't go wrong with anything. Come with friends and eat family style!

Marc is an amazing server! He's incredibly attentive - our waters remained full and he suggested us entrees based on the flavors we told him we were looking for! He knows the ins and outs of every dish and can speak to the flavors that come out in each, incredibly knowledgable! Next time you're in Brentwood be sure to ask for Marc!

We have been coming to this location for almost 30 years. Before I start my review, I must say the assistant manager Garrett is one of the nicest people I've ever met and always tries to make everything right and correct others mistakes. You should definitely be promoted to manager, we had the worst experience last night that we have ever had it chin Chin. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad which I have eaten for over 30 years and explained explicitly to our server that I have a nut allergy at least five times he gave our ticket to the kitchen and they made my salad Ticket was correct. When I got my salad I started eating and my friend and I noticed that there were almonds in my salad after I had already eaten at least five bites of it. On the way home I started getting very sick in the car and short of breath, which is a symptom of a nut allergy, I got very sick but I'm OK now. Our waiter never once came to check on us and the assistant manager Garrett came to check on us several times and made everything right but this is a fatal error in the kitchen and I have already let the corporate office know. I am so disappointed in the serviceand will not be going back to chin Chin ever again

The Brentwood location was absolutely fabulous! My server Angel was exceptional and helped me with questions and my selections. The food here never disappoints the flavors and presentation are exceptional. Service was attentive, prompt, and gracious. The ambience is modern, clean. and there is an outdoor area also.

Nice view but all the food is pre-done and soaked in their sauces. If you are gluten or sugar here this is not the place. I could not find anything to eat that did not have sugar or flour. I asked them to cook my entree in oil and spices and got the most bland and boring meal. To be fair they can steam dishes, but I am sure that would have been just as bland. I go to other Chinese restaurants and they easily cook up a dish with oil, and spices and it tastes good.

Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant really hits the spot if you're craving authentic Chinese food. Our server, Pam, was super friendly and really knew her stuff, which made our meal even better. We kicked things off with some chicken garlic wontons and juicy chicken dumplings, both of which were packed with flavor. For the main dishes, the lo mein and chow fun were the real stars--perfectly cooked noodles, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of seasoning. It's a great spot for some tasty, well-prepared Chinese cuisine, and we left totally satisfied.

A gem! We popped in this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon during happy hour and received the best food and service. Our server Marc was attentive, gave great suggestions and really took care of us. Definitely recommend ordering the garlic chili crisp wontons and the pork spare ribs for appetizers. Very tasty! We will definitely be back, thanks Marc!

Love the ambience of the outdoor patio. We're return customers, we were hyped to try out Brentwood location and have been to the Weho one! We recommend the wonton soup, lo mein, and any starter! Mark, our server, is super nice and helpful. Love how clean and spacious this location is. The food is solid and amazing as usual. We got the wonton soup, their new crispy chili wontons, lo mein and crispy spicy pineapple chicken! Will be back :)

First time at Chin Chin in Brentwood and it was amazing! We were seated within 5 minutes, and our server Marc was very hospitable. He recommended appetizers and entrees, which were a great choice! We ordered the chili Wontons as an appetizer, and ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, Wonton Soup (my favorite!), and Crispy Spicy Shrimp, and Mushroom Broccoli Beef! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, definitely will be returning! Really glad we found this place! 10/10! Thanks to the manager Roxanne for checking in!! I love me some chinchin cuz it doesn't give me double chin! ha. I crack me up :) They have so many healthy delicious options, and I love their combo soup and salad lunch special! Their famous Chinese Chicken Salad has been a favorite of mine for years! I also love all the chicken and shrimp dishes. I do the light sauce for a healthy option but if I want some decadent guilty pleasures, the walnut shrimp is to die for! My mouth is watering. I'm gonna walk over now! Yay! Stoked because Angel is working & he rocks. He takes such amazing care of us & he even found me some chili oil today, which made my day!

Tried this place for the first time and I thought it was great! The food was pretty solid for a Chinese restaurant and much better than some of the high end Chinese places I've been too. The service was fine considering it was pretty busy when we went. Definitely recommend for Chinese and the price was pretty reasonable too. The restaurant itself was pretty cozy and comfortable.

I think, after getting takeout from them tonight, that this is possibly the all-time worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! okay, perhaps I am more fussy than many Americans, having spent years living near San Francisco Chinatown and with some relatively good Chinese places we used to eat in Santa Monica/ West LA...But OMG, the peanut noodles was revolting. It tasted like they dumped half a jar of peanut butter onto overcooked noodles. The BBQ Pork was too thickly slices and wasn't barbequed, more like roasted in a heavy-handed five-spice mixture that made me put it back after the first bite. The Sweet & Sour Chicken...Overdone, soggy breaded with a heavy green pepper flavor that masked any real sweet and sour subtlety. The only palletable dish we ate was the Chinese Chicken Salad...An interesting if rather non-traditional dressing with a chilli bite to it was edible. Thanke heavens it was football night and the guys were not as picky, though comments were made about never ordering from this palce again. They've gone totally downhill.

Generally good food, as a Chinese American restaurant, it is way above average. Not greesy, not salty. Will be nicer if the bok choy cones in smaller pieces. Clean environment.

Came to Chin Chin Brentwood today for Happy Hour/ Dinner and food was Hot, service was great! My coworkers and I come once a month to have dinner and it is our go to. Great food, had the general Tso chicken and potstickers. My favorite is the Pad Thai but didn't get it this time. Marc was attentive and food came at a decent time as we were busy catching up! Will recommend always.

We ordered Chin Chin for delivery this evening and all I can say is that the food was very disappointing. The plates looked good and presentable but the taste was lacking. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, it had no flavor and green beans were bland. The best was the Mongolian beef but even that I've had it with more flavor and to top it off, the meat was tough. It had been many years since I went to Chin Chin and my memories were of good food. This visit was a huge disappointment and we won't order again.

After more than 15 years, I decided to go back to China Chin. We arrived very early on a rainy evening and at that time, the restaurant was nearly empty. Only one other table was seated. We chose our table because it was well-lit (a necessity due to visual impairment). Unfortunately, the well-lit table had an audio speaker directly overhead and the hip hop music was turned up so loud that we could not enjoy a conversation while dining. I politely asked the waiter if the volume of the music could be turned a bit softer and although the he said, "Yes", he returned a few minutes later to say that the manager refused our request! The food was nothing special. We found the won ton soup to be a bit too peppery and we only ate about half of the other dish that we ordered to share. I don't think that we will return.

The food is pretty good Americanized and came out promptly. Unfortunately, our service was lacking. She forgot an entree and didn't seem to care, or apologize. We had to ask for water refills, and for our plates to be cleared. Such a shame because they remodeled and it's a great space.

Mark rocks and I love Chin Chin. Best Asian restaurant west of the 405! Always quality and reliable.

Angel is awesome he provides amazing customer service he goes above and beyond and was so helpful thank you Angel you are an actual angel it's rare to find someone that will go out of there way like he did. I give him and chin chin 10 out of 5 stars. Also the food is great my family orders from here all the time and this is there go to spot and my younger brothers favorite is the sweet and sour chicken.

Many years ago there was a Chin Chin in Marina Del Rey. I remember going there with my boyfriend at the time (early 90s) and loved watching them make dumplings but loved the peanut noodles. I was away from L.A. for 26 years and would only come back to visit my parents a few times a year..figured Chin Chin was long gone. When I moved back in 2020, and was ordering lots of food off delivery apps, I rediscovered Chin Chin! What?! Peanut Noodles? YES! I usually order the noodles with the Chinese chicken salad. Also very good. But so happy to find the simple dish of warm noodles in peanut sauce!! yum!

Been to chin chin a few times, today was a nice Sunday experience. Our server Angel was attentive and accommodating to anything we asked for. We order General Tso, pepper steak and chow fun ! Everything was delicious! We enjoyed our time watching the LA Rams game with some Sake! The managers Garrett's and Roxana made sure to come by and check in on us. Overall great time!

Well our go to sushi places was closed so we decided to hop in to Chin Chin. With the Beverly Hills location now closed it had been a minute since we had that amazing dressing we love. Service was great although we felt bad for the waiter as they were out of everything we asked for from soda to low sodium soy sauce. He kept smiling and providing above average service. Food was good and the Chinese chicken salad was as always fantastic!
