Chicken Shop and Dirty Burger St John's Wood

Very good place to have some burgers or a roasted chicken. The ambiance is cool and the staff very sympathetic. The patty is very tasty, the bacon is delicious and I liked the fries and their side garlic mayo (alioli style). I missed a little more cheese in my Dirty Burguer as the regular portion is not very abundant. They have a set lunch menu quite interesting for 10£ including burguer, fries and soda from Mon-Fri 12h to 16h.

Delicious food and lovely staff. Always greeted with a smile. I tried the roasted chicken, the mushroom burger, the avocado lettuce salad, the coleslaw and the sweet fries. They are all very tasty. Bonus: the cocktail happy hour and their delicious house sauces.

We went for lunch on the weekend, given covid times it wasn’t so packed, we got to sit outside. The waiter was really nice and they took care to clean the tables and everything well to keep customers safe. We ordered the dirty bird with sweet potato fries. It was good, cooked well, though I had really high expectations previously because people said that’s the best. Nevertheless it was a good tasting burger! Would come back here again

Where do I start? We ordered takeaway and duly collected it. We ordered 2 Dirty Burgers, one with bacon, plus 2 sides of fries and a portion of onion fries, not to mention an Oreo milkshake. My bacon burger was pretty horrible and cold and threw away half of it. The onion fries were horrendously greasy. The shake was the only redeeming part of the meal. Later that day, I suffered pains in my stomach, terrible acid reflux and the next morning, proceeded to throw up a few times, plus an upset stomach followed. Was it down to the burger, personally I think so. Needless to say, we'll never go back. Very disappointed as had heard good reviews from friends who had been to other branches.

No filter just chicken. There's something fundamentally beautiful about spit roasted chicken and when you consider its done over coal, well let's just say it gets even better. Chicken shop offers one of the best spit roast chickens I have tasted to date. Simple food shouldn't be complicated and when it's done this well it adds a new meaning to comfort food. Enough of that! On to the chicken, wonderfully spit roasted to perfection it literally melts off your tongue whilst eating Mmmm I cannot stress how disappointing nandos will taste after trying this 😁. Next on to the sides where chicken shop really needs to improve on, both the fries and corn were tasty but unmemorable, a wider range of sides will such as mash might help on that front. Lastly the house sauces super recommended for both the chili fans and the smokey BBQ fans, a perfect companion to the mouthwatering chicken. You must go there and try it! -8.5/10-

While their classic Dirty Burger is good, its taste doesn't completely make up for the size & price. They did not have any milkshakes. On the flip side - probably one of the best apple pies I've ever tried. As you can see, it went so fast I couldn't even take a picture!

Another chicken shop/dirty burger combination restaurant. Comfortable seats, good to see some new additions to the menu not seen in the standalone restaurants. Dirtyburger lived up to usual tasty expectations and the new chicken burger was a good version of that too.

Really disappointing meal from Dirty Burger. The bun was completely sodden and inedible. I ordered the mushroom burger and also found something hard and equally inedible as the bun underneath the mushroom, kind of looked like a small overcooked piece of chicken. We've eaten in the restaurant before and it's been fine... Not sure what's gone wrong???
