Nestled in a medieval village with breathtaking sea views, this upscale hotel boasts Michelin-star dining, chic rooms, and a serene outdoor pool.
"What is striking as you arrive at the Château de la Chèvre d'Or is its exceptional location affording a jaw-dropping view. Perched high up on the flank of a rocky hillside in a medieval village, this place commands stunning views of the Côte d'Azur hinterland and the glinting Mediterranean. When it comes to the food, there is plenty to get enthusiastic about. Drawing on delicious produce sourced in the area (fish, meat, vegetables, olive oil and herbs) and all the talent we associate with him, Arnaud Faye creates harmonious and precise dishes that are often irresistible." - Michelin Inspector
"In a medieval village on a cliff between Monaco and Nice above the Mediterranean, this former artists’ retreat is divided among a stone castle and buildings within the village. Cobblestone paths lead to individually decorated rooms, most with sea views. Inside, stone is incorporated into the floor, walls, and ceilings. The Presidential Suite is an homage to gilt where the sundeck has a heated infinity pool and whirlpool with sea views. The cuisine in the main restaurant, La Chèvre d’Or—which is open from March through December—is better than the top tables of Monte Carlo. Les Remparts serves Mediterranean dishes on a terrace with views over the bay to St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat."
"La Chèvre d'Or A breathtaking view of dramatic cliffs diving into the sparkling azure seas sets the scene for a spectacular two-Michelin-star meal of seasonal specialties by chef Arnaud Faye that may be perfectly paired with any one of 15,000 bottles of wine at La Chèvre d’Or in medieval Èze."
"Tables at the famous Château de la Chèvre d'Or offer a paradisiacal situation with stunning views of both the azure Mediterranean Sea and clear blue skies. In the kitchen, Arnaud Faye confirms his great talent with eminently subtle cuisine that is anchored superbly in the regional terroir, magnified by what the French Riviera has to offer. Pastry chef Julien Dugourd provides the final touch — desserts are as spectacular as they are delicious." - The MICHELIN Guide
