It has been 3-4 years since I’ve been here. And I’ve always dreamed of coming back. Today, they made my dreams come true. The sizes are well worth the price and wait. Wonderful creations and friendly staff too

So great. I love the place so much. It has the best homemade ice creams and the shakes. Best place to go for a cute dessert drive with your partner or family. Definitely recommended for donuts and pizza too! Ambience is great!! 👍

This place was beyond our expectations! The lady behind the counter was so extremely sweet and kind and gave us samples to try as we wait for our milkshake and even the super nice gentleman who made our milkshake even came out to greet us and asked how we liked it. Will definitely be back!!!!!! ♥️

I had the worst sweet tooth and came by cheat treats. The service amazing and the birthday cheesecake was so dang good couldn’t wait to dive in as you see. My daughter had the smoothie and loved it.

I’m usually a healthy eating person and I crave for deserts always. This is a good option for your cheat day. They have keto vegan so many options it’s overwhelming but the lady working there was so friendly and she even offered a new cookie for me to try .. just loved this experience during the holidays thank you ♥️✨

I’ve just tried this place out and it’s now become my favorite spot for my chocolate cravings! Their cookies are my favorite and are absolutely delicious! I even got a free cookie because I’ve come that many times now ❤️

Man this place is so elite. I came to this place around 3 years ago for the first time and was wowed. I finally got the chance to come back and try some freakshakes and I was not disappointed. The service was immaculate and the guy taking our order was extremely nice and gave fantastic recommendation. I ended up getting the cookie butter freakshake. It tasted so good and even had an ice cream sandwich on top which was an amazing touch.

The pizza was delicious and the milkshake went perfectly with it. I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful place everything freshly made! Very hardworking people. The people there very sweet and would do anything to make there consumers happy! I would rate this place a 10/10. The place was closed and they open the doors to let us get something . Would highly recommend:)

The owners is the sweets man ever and they have such amazing kind staff and I always feel so token care of here. The treats are always so good and the cookies are always soft and fresh & never hard which is hard to get now of days . I recommend this spot to everyone I know all the time!

Ordered a delivery via Uber Eats. I waited two hours for stale vegan cookies, and a stale slice of cheesecake topped with buttercream and another stale cookie. This shop does not know modern vegan baking and it is not done in house. The vegan cookies are pre packaged from another facility and remind me of something from ten years ago. This is not fresh vegan food. Nor are the regular items. Please do better. Vegan baking has evolved.

I love the treats here! I've been here a few times and love there are vegan and gluten free options for my allergy sensitive friends. It's a cute place, very cozy inside. The service is fantastic and the employees always go above and beyond to make anything you order look amazing. These photos are old but their shakes are awesome and delicious!

Order from this place a couple of times. First time it was great, we definitely wanted to try again. Second time was horrible. Ordered 6 assorted cookies, got mostly the same cookie. All of them were stale and hard. Called company and was told I could come back in to get some new ones. The only problem being the store is over an hour away. So I was told I can come in when I had the chance. A couple days after the interaction the owner refused to remake order, even with having the receipt. I drove over an hour to have some of the worst customer service and returned home with nothing. Definitely don't order these online it's a hit or miss.

New to Michigan and bought cookies from here for Thanksgiving. They were AMAZING and everyone loved them. They have a huge variety of flavors and def a place to come back to. Gonna try other things in the future too! (like donuts, smoothies and ice cream)

My girlfriend and I ordered, through DoorDash, a dozen doughnuts that were supposed to be one of each type of doughnut and a strawberry cheesecake. What we received is 12 captian crunch doughnuts and a birthday cake cheese cake. When we called the only reason that we were given is that the other types of doughnuts were still being made and they didn't have anymore strawberry cheese cake. They said that they tried to call once and had a 'glitch on their end' so didn't try to contact us again. They also didn't talk to the door dasher to have them contact us. They just gave the dasher the completely incorrect order and hoped that we would be happy. If we want to get the proper order since all of the other doughnut flavors are ready now we need to drive ourselves there to get it fixed. If we were able to drive ourselves there we would not have used door dash. This is ridiculous, especially since they are not willing to send someone to give us the corrected order. "We don't have anyone that is able to deliver to you" so you don't have a single employee that can drive? This is your mistake and we are supposed to spend money getting a ride to you to fix it? If I could give 0 stars I would.

The shop is very easy to find and great help inside. We got quite a few items off of the menu. The highlights were the Cookie Monster cookie and the cinnamon roll. The cotton candy on the cotton candy freak shake was old and stale which was disappointing since it was $14 but the actual shake flavor was good. The cheesecake was just ok however presentation was nice. It's a cool place to stop and have a dessert. They also have healthy options including vegan and keto items.

Service and desert were amazing. I recommend everybody to come here. I got the brownie freak shake

Update on this review. When I first came here quite a few years ago, they had just opened. All they offered was protein desserts. Fast forward a couple years, I came back because a friend gave me a gift card. I came in with the intentions of getting a protein dessert and loving it because I remember my first experience being not very good. To my surprise, they didn't have any protein desserts offered today. All that was available at 12:30pm were the "unhealthy" desserts. I asked the lady who helped me and she told me that if I wanted anything protein I had to call ahead of time. This I wasn't too excited about because they never indicated that on the website and I assumed that because this place is called "Cheat Treats" they would have protein desserts. So for my review on the unhealthy desserts, I ordered a coconut cheesecake, s'mores donut, and chocolate chip cookie. The protein cheesecake I remember being so dense and tasted like cardboard so I thought the unhealthy version had to be so much better. Honestly the taste is definitely better, but the texture is so off. It's dense and I have to actually chew, I don't understand. The s'mores donut wasn't bad, it was kind of like a mixture between a cake donut and a yeast donut. Again very dense and not my favorite. The chocolate chip cookie, however was amazing! I would actually come back for these cookies I thought they were so good and the best texture. 10/10 for the cookie. I wanted to like to place. I still do! I'll come back for more cookies for sure and to try the protein desserts again, but for right now I hate saying that I don't like their stuff. The staff are still some of the nicest people I've ever met and I think they're passionate about their work. Which is why it makes me sad that I don't like their stuff. I give them 3 stars because they're great people and the cookie was honestly incredible.

Everything here is SOOOOO delicious. I can't even choose just one thing to recommend. I don't come to dearborn often, but when I do, I always come here for something. Cookies are so soft and with fun flavors. The freak shakes are huge. I think 4 people could probably share one! The woman who works here is the sweetest and their instagram has some really great content that keeps you updated on their new flavors. Love you guys!

Forgot to take a picture, but we got the Reese's cheesecake, birthday cake cheesecake, and the Oreo cookie. I was pretty disappointed by both cheesecakes. They were decorated very pretty, but they lacked a lot of flavor. They were very sweet, but I didn't taste the cream cheese at all and it just seemed like a plain vanilla cheesecake that was poorly made. Both of them tasted similar despite being different flavors and they had a layer of frosting on top that was way too sweet for me. The crust did not taste like anything either. The cookie was as definitely the best part. It was soft and chewy and overall a decent cookie. The actual shop is super cute. It has nice lighting and has all the desserts on display.

If you have never had Cheat Treats, you are missing out. Literally EVERYTHING they have is delicious. Desserts can you can feel good about eating. The store is very convenient to access, with plenty of parking. You can sit inside and enjoy everything, or take it to go. They have so many options, but I highly recommend the açaí bowl, and the red velvet cake! Really everything is great! The employees are very friendly. They prepare everything very fast. You can be in and out rather quickly. They also sell really cute T-Shirts.

I do not know why anyone would leave a good review for this place. It is super small and clustered inside. The desserts look like it's been sitting there for weeks. We waited 30 mins for an ice cream sundae that was supposed to be birthday cake but all it was, was vanilla ice cream with sprinkles? I would never ever ever go back here even if it was free.

My boyfriend and I came here for a sweet treat and it surely hit the spot! We were greatest by the kindest women whom I assume was the owner. She walked us through all they had and informed us of the fan favorites. After discussing our options I got ice cream and my boyfriend got Oreo cheesecake both were delicious. Will most definitely be back!

I was happy to see that they had vegan options for my son who decided to go vegan. They make and package their own vegan frosting in house which is awesome. The lady was very nice and recommended the triple berry vegan cake. The store is small you don't have much room to move around, but the different options and variety make up for it. Try it the donuts and cheesecakes look delicious.

Came here wanting a cute milkshake treat. We ordered a milkshake (8$) and a smoothie (6$) and they took over 30 min to make it. The customers ahead of us got really elaborate looking milkshakes with toppings but both of the items I got ended up being normal with just whip cream on top. I don't know if I ordered something different or what but I would not come back, especially given the wait and the price point.

My son went to buy a whole small-size cheesecake, and once he went to the register, they told him $80. My God, 80 dollars for a small cheesecake! He was shy enough not to pay for it, and once he brought it to the house and told me. This was a big shock to me and my family. I mean, if I buy it from Hollywood, it won't be $80. It does not even taste like an $80 cake. I called and talked to the owner, and he tried to give an example to convince me that $80 is not that much by asking me what I do for a living and how much I am getting paid. This is outside the subject period. If it is for $40 or $50, I might say it's okay and let it go. It was just $80 for a small size of cheesecake, which was very, very crazy to me. This was our first and most likely last time; just be aware. This is very ridiculous.

I ordered a cake 3 days in advance and they accidentally sold it to someone else. I mean, I wouldn't even mind if the kitchen burned down or everyone got covid and they couldn't make it. But selling a birthday cake to the wrong customer? Y'all are in the wrong business lmao.

Well---it's ice cream. Store brand. There was a charge for using milk in our milkshake? Doesn't milk come in a milkshake? Not oat or anything else--just regular milk. We were the only ones in the store & only one person working so be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Just a weird vibe as the shakes were made in a kitchen you can't see. There were no desserts stocked. If you glance at the pictures online of all they offer, they look good. But the entire case was empty. Said they just didn't make any. Okay. A reason we came but again, empty. The shakes we had were fine. More filler than actual ice cream & a pricey price tag $$$ I get there are so many places to try in the Dearborn area---we'll do that next time. Not here.

This is a great place to try if you're tire of the "other" smoothie places!!! I enjoyed the Bermuda Triangle Smoothie and it was great. Very fresh fruity!! The owner(I believe) was very suggestive when it came to her products. She even said to check out her IG and I would suggest you do the same!!! kdd

After reading this review you'll see my very favorite part was how colorful and fun the cookies and desserts were to photograph. Photography aside, this desserts hit the spot. After eating at El Asador in Southwest Detroit and having a spicy Mexican dinner, my husband and I craved something sweet. I've been wanting to try cheat treat, and this was close enough to where we ate dinner. Since I'm not great at making decisions, after taking a lot of pictures of the desserts, we settled on three cookies for five dollars plus a piece of cheesecake. We got the funfetti cookie, the Smore's cookie and the Reese's cookies. My favorite of the three was definitely the Smore's but the funfetti was pretty good too. I'm usually a huge Reese's peanut butter cup fan, but this one really did not thrill me. Well technically they're filled with protein and healthier ingredients, the cookie still tasted pretty good for what they were. The Oreo cheesecake was OK. I probably wouldn't order it again though as it was a little drier than I prefer and not quite as rich as I would've liked to taste. I can't come in on the donuts because we didn't try those. Maybe next time. And then there was the takeout... I decided to get my daughter three cookies and I am bringing those home so I got to photograph them too. I would definitely come back if I was in the area but I live 30 to 35 minutes away and I wouldn't probably make a special trip. Overall I would say 3 1/2 to 4 star leaning towards a four-star.

This place is off the chart awesome!!! I found this gem on Facebook one today. Decided to take my daughter and was not disappointed. These larger then life milkshakes were amazing. Full of treasures in a cup always keep you searching. The lady at the counter was helpful and explained and answered all my questions until we made our decision. Now to answer your question. Yes it is little pricey 15.00 dollars a piece but to try something new, amazing, fun and delicious it is worth every penny. Come and seek this place and try something special for the kids and the family!!

Absolutely delicious! Finally stopped in over the weekend since I was in the area and had heard so many good things. I only tried some donuts but they were delicious. I had heard they recently redid their recipes since the first time around you could tell there was an "aspartame-y" type taste. I did not notice that at all with the ones I tried. They tasted lik real full-fat donuts, but ones i could feel good about because of the macros! This is a great option for people who lift heavy or exercise a lot and are looking for a good treat to have within their goals and macros. I bought 4 donuts to try: * cookies'n'creme * snickers * cinnamon roll * chocolate peanut butter The macros were pretty similar (I think) between the different ones: roughly between 270-300 calories, 15-20g carb, 10-12g fat, 10-13g sugar and between 18-20g protein. Not too bad! I didn't eat a whole one, but, I wouldn't feel bad if I did. I'm only sad that this is in Dearborn and not in Ann Arbor near me. Parking is plentiful since they're a plaza and the staff was very friendly and offered free samples of various things as well. Give them a try!

The white chocolate layer on the bottom of fruity pebbles, oreo, and birthday cake completely ruined the whole cookie. It was way too much, the cookies would have been great without that chocolate layer. Also if you order the variety pack expect all fruity pebbles and 1-2 other options. Completely disappointed. Won't be back.

Came on a Friday night... Parking: plenty of parking. Designated parking lot. Service: very, very friendly! The owner ended up talking to my boyfriend for 30 min & my bf had a very favorable impression of him! Service was fantastic! Plenty of seating inside - some barstools & a couple tables. The cookies (s'mores & chocolate chip) were both great! Cookie dough -- wait for it to thaw and come to room temp. Got a mix of the oreo & chocolate chip - so so good! There's a 5 oz and 4oz offered. Cookies n' creme is also very good! Pumpkin spice cheesecake - def different consistency & can't compare to a regular cheescake, but for the amount of protien & flavor -- totally worth it! Have returned and got the srrawberry cheesecake -- even better!!! We really loved that nothing was very sweet! Big plus in our books! For a 20oz of tea, cookie dough & a pumpkin spice cheesecake was $12. What are you waiting for? If you want some good semi guilt-free desserts... hit up cheat treats & pair the desserts with some tea :)

My sister and I recently visited this business. We were greeted when we walked in. This place is decorated so nice. The staff member answered our questions about the menu items. We decided on cupcakes and donuts. They tasted delicious! The best dessert that I've ever tasted. I will definitely be retuning for more sweet treats.

I love everything about Cheat Treats. It's a very small bakery just right in Dearborn. It's a corner shop with a great amount of parking. The food itself is phenomenal. I'm never disappointed when I return and the people that are it are just angels. I've started to become a slight regular and they are always asking how I've been along with the friends that I came with the very first time I had tried our cheat treats. The atmosphere is friendly and very relaxing. Service is quick and easy.

It's nice to have a bakery that caters to my keto diet. Their service was great. With that said, the coffee was cold. I got keto cheese cake which I loved. The keto coconut bars and cookies were ok but too sweet. and The regular[non keto] cookies I got for my family were grainy and didn't taste good.

Wish there was an option to give zero stars. Worst experience ever, not worth the 20 minute wait for a shake and 3 cookies that were utter garbage. The girl still had the audacity to ask for a tip for charging me basically. Shake was super light, no taste of oreo what so ever. The cookies were complete trash, I'd rather eat Chips Ahoy cookies from a vending machine, how is this place still in business? Not to brag but I make better shakes back home in Bad Axe. Music was SUPER loud, it wasn't even good music. I thought it was a trashy club when I first walked in. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.

I really was excited to check this place out because there are so few keto options in the world. The options at Cheat Treats are a few cookies and a couple of the cheesecakes. I tried one of the cookies and was pretty disappointed. I was so hungry, I couldn't wait until I got home... took it out, tried to put some in my mouth and it fell apart like sand. There was no binding whatsoever in the cookie, so it was just like eating flavored sand too (peppermint sand, with a hint of chocolate.) Needless to say, it's unlikely that I'll hit this place up again. If I really need a keto sweet, I guess I'll be resorting to my keto dark chocolate (which is delicious, but just would be nice to have some variety.) Anyway, the folks that run this place are simply lovely. Very friendly, and helped me with my questions. If this place were based on the personality of the owners, I'd come here every day.

This cafe has a special place in my heart. I live in Miami, and my mom lives in Michigan. Eveytime I visit MI I always have to stop at Cheat Treats. They have so many creative and tasty desserts. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the decoration of course, very clean, neat and cool spot to hang out and take pictures. Second, customer service is pretty awesome. The owner is so great and such a nice person, which he is usually there most of the time and tried to give you a great welcoming. Third but not least, their menu items. Wow!!! Their desserts are so awesome. They have a many stuff to choose from and also different options such as vegan, fitness, or cheat day lol. Guys, their shakes are amazing this is a must try for sure. Came in on a Thursday evening.... super crowded.... cashier was rude .... so nothing looked appealing after that encounter and left w nothing. Maybe will give it a try later but customer service needs to improve.

Let me start by saying this .... if you are on a diet please dont go to cheat treats I was and trust me it was an experience. The cookiee monater shake, shaked me to my core . But still the best part for me was the customer service. This place is awesome and deserves awesome ratings. Kudos to cheat treats

We love the shakes here at Cheat Treats as well as the cookies. Very night ambiance it very tight in space. There was a house full of people. Hopefully they get a bigger location.

I'm not a huge milkshake person but omg the oreo milkshake was amazing!! I really wish I had brought more of my appetite to try more sweets and drinks since everything looked great. I will definitely come back here! Staff was super kind and was willing to make a drink any way we wanted. When we asked for straws the guy brough it to us and put it in our milkshake himself which was very kind and hospitable. It does have a smaller space but you can grab and go and eat/drink in your car. Very homey vibes. A cute place to stop by with friends, family, or yourself when you're craving something sweet!

I was a bit disappointed because I thought they might've had more vegan options but I'm glad they have the ones they do! They could definitely add vegan ice cream by using nondairy based for their liquid nitrogen method. There was 2 cake options and chocolate chip cookies that were vegan, the cake was a berry chocolate and another was peanut butter. I picked the berry one, it didn't really taste that fresh to be honest and I think I might've liked the other one better? The staff was super nice and the interior was pretty sweet. The cookies were all like the hard kind and i like the soft and chewy kind myself. Cute little place, could definitely expand their options more though

Slice of cake with sugar is $7 a piece, a s'mores brownie is $5, and the brownie is bigger than the slice of cake by at least double. Not sure who came up with the crooked pricing structure, but it needs a major overhaul and immediately The majority of items here are made with Stevia, cookie doughs, donuts are all with stevia, what an utter bummer. Super expensive. The tidbit donut hole I tried wasn't melt in my mouth and the stevia hit me like a brick wall, not good. I bought a coconut lemon cake and a peanut butter chocolate cake for my colleague's bday today. The only items made with sugar are the cookies, cake and brownies. I don't see how this place can subsist and how anyone would come back after such a sticker shock. I can better and cheaper cake at Westborn market. I am beyond appalled and I told the woman behind the counter. As if offering some free bday candles would lessen the blow. My colleague better appreciate these overpriced slices of cake and savor every bite of it. I think their business name is aptly suited and appropriate, but only because I feel the intent is for them to cheat the consumer and revel in the treat of the cheat. Yes my bill for 2 small slices of cake was $14.84, including tax. And no my colleague and I both felt the cakes were no better than at some discount big box store. Let this be a lessen to others. The peanut butter chocolate cake was quite dry but it may be due to it being past it's prime, the coconut lemon wasn't bad, but nothing special to me or my colleague at all.

I was excited to try this place... the Acai Blueberry Muffin Bowl was incredible and delicious. I'll definitely be a repeat customer for this reason. I also got a S'mores cookie that was decent and a Fruity Pebble donut that I wished I would've forgone due to its weird texture and lack luster flavor. I got a slice of Cookie Monster Cheesecake to take home to my husband and he said it was pretty good. These 4 things and hot tea was almost $30. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, professional and informative however sadly it took almost 40 minutes to get my friend and I's Acai bowls. I will say they seemed short staffed due to the holiday and staying open until 3am.

The vegan options are really great to see. I got a few of the vegan chocolate chip cookies and I like that they come in a little package with all the nutritional info. The cookies are great! They remind me of the chips ahoy cookies. I also have the vegan Cookie Monster cake which was ok, although it was a bit dense and the frosting was a bit too sugary for my taste. Overall, I enjoyed my purchases.
