Champagne Chocolatier

Went there specifically for the chocolates, of which they have a large and interesting variety. I had visited other two chocolateries with remarkable products but this one just stood out. In terms of flavor, texture, variety, presentation and quallty, Champagne came out on top. Where the others were great, this one was excellent. I really enjoyed the Pharaon, the Bûchette Caramel and the Perle du Québec. The Litchi deserves a special recommendation: Try it, it's exquisite. While the shop is not in the most tourist-friendly area (Saint-Roch is somewhat sketchy), a visit here is a must for any true chocolate worshiper.

Was good two years ago. But I just bought a box of 12 chocolates from them, and all of them tasted **really** bad. Terrible way to end my Quebec city trip. They were so bad that I didn't want to eat the last two pieces and contemplated throwing them away. I still downed them anyway because I spent $$$ on them, and was going through the sunk cost fallacy. I feel sick. They didn't taste like chocolate at all. Hard to pin down the exact flavor. Some unknown chemical X, maybe. I will not be returning again

If only they were open past 5 pm. In the summer, I'd love to get an ice cream cone there after Supper, but it closes too early for it. Would be an easy 5 stars if it was open later.

A most excellent shop at anywhere, they have everything from ganache to salt caramel two excellent coffee, must come and visit! if you love good food videos please visit cuisineQuest on YouTube;)

Very nice they have chocolate dipped ice cream, the dark + épices is really good but wow they coat it on thick so just beware of chocolate overdose!

This is a dangerously delicious place. Try the dark hot chocolate; it's terrific!

A really great stop if you have a sweet tooth. Dozens of different types of gourmet, hand-crafted chocolates. There's also plenty of chocolates and other sweets to purchase if you want a piece of Quebec to take home. The chocolates are very rich and you can see the amount of time and effort that goes into making each one. I also got a dark chocolate hot chocolate beverage. It was also very rich, so be sure to pick and choose what you're going to have, or you'll just have to return again! The prices are fair and what you would expect from a gourmet chocolate shop.

Superb place! I kept going back here during our vacation because the chocolates were so good. Good coffee, too. Nice and friendly staff is a big plus as well.

Was feeling like getting something a little sweet so I picked out a chocolate bar. I found a bar that was sprinkled with pink seeds(?). It wasn't really that life changing or all that good (the seeds added a weird texture), but that's probably cuz I prefer to stick with plain dark chocolate. I saw some people come in to get their soft serve ice cream so maybe I should have gotten that instead.

Soft serve ice cream was delicious. Yum yum yum. At first I only ordered two for my kids, but it was so delicious I had to have my own.

Had amazing arrangement of chocolates. They had everything from mango chocolate to spicy chocolates. One thing that I really found interesting was the dipped ice cream cones. Dipped ice cream cones could have the dipping concoction be A maple syrup to milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

OMG: we had ice cream (soft serve variety, but the vanilla, in particular, was heavenly...a nice, creamy texture and all-natural vanilla flavor) dipped in milk chocolate. The chocolate was heavenly, and when it hardened, it was just divine! Be warned: if you opt for a cone, it gets very messy!

Very friendly service and were also knowledgeable about the surrounding area restaurants. The chocolates were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We would definitely go back. Merci Quebec...
