Cesca Boutique Hotel

We had a 4 day stay at this small boutique hotel. The room was beautiful and looked out onto the countryside. It was spotless. My only criticism would be that the hairdryer was one of those attached to the wall and very slow, as a lady I would have preferred the table to have a mirror and plug. As others have said, a kettle in the room would have been most welcome. Having said that, it did not detract from our stay, the beautiful sun bed towels, tasty breakfasts, gorgeous roof top chairs and pool. Also the staff are very accommodating. The hotel is about a 10/12 min downhill walk to Xlendi, a small resort by the sea with a lovely selection of restaurants.

Beautiful, spacious room and large bed. Breakfast served in the restaurant with great views. The rooftop pool was perfect for the hot weather. Staff are very helpful and booked dinner for us at a fabulous restaurant in town. The water/town is just a 2 min drive away. Would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning boutique hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a breathtaking view that adds to the serene ambiance. The decor is stylish and thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail evident in every corner. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool is another highlight—it's beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. Overall, this hotel is an oasis of tranquillity and charm, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Gozo island. I highly recommend both the hotel and Gozo as a destination.

Stayed for a day by the pool here and enjoyed every second. The manager is a joy to deal with and the service is impeccable. The day was one of the most relaxing I ever had and the drinks by the pool were delicious! Highly recommended

I stayed for a night in a double standard room. Michaela and the Owner could not have been more accommodating, kind, and helpful. I felt welcome. Upon arrival, I was told the story of the hotel, that it was previously a home to an Irish composer, his piano still in the lobby. The room was tasteful. I loved the bath and bath products. Very comfortable bed. Good quality coffee and coffee machine. Lots of light in the room looking out at the nature in the valley. A pleasant stay.

Beautiful restored building with an authentic charm and a great location near the trendy waterfront of Xlendi. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable and showers with real high pressure hot water. Pool area a great place to chill and gaze at the view of nearby cliffs. Breakfast buffet was simple but a la carte eggs very tasty and great coffee. The best part of my 3 night stay was the extremely helpful and accommodating front desk who helped me with all my requests. Will definitely stay here again on my next diving holiday!

This was our first visit to Gozo and we chose to stay here due to the specification, small number of rooms and location. Our room was GREAT, spacious, comfortable, clean and we had a balcony with a valley view, a table and chairs and a hot tub, that was wonderful. It is very hard to fault our accommodation but the coffee maker was fiddly to use and had no instructions, it was only when we checked out that the receptionist told us that we could have had a kettle, so if you prefer tea, ask when you arrive for a kettle in your room. The reception is not manned 24/7 and there is a contact number for guests. There is a system of messaging hotel services via the TV in your room, which we found by accident. However, it is a very slow process as you have to use the TV remote to type into the TV screens keypad and even with predictive text, it takes ages! Much quicker to speak to someone in person. We had one breakfast tea bag and asked for more, the next day we had 2 but the next nil were left! |There is a good choice for breakfast but if having cooked, if you have preferences, you need to state exactly how you want them, for example your eggs cooked. One day I chose a full English and the fried eggs were only just solid on one side and completely raw on the other, yuch! |The hotel is situated on the main road from Victoria to Xiendi but it has limited parking directly outside, there is more parking a short walk away. It is best to have a narrow car as you need to park within the white line or your vehicle could get ticketed or damaged by passing traffic. |On arrival when we asked the receptionist about an evening meal we were directed to travel on to a local village and not the in-house La Vallee restaurant, but this appeared closed, so perhaps only opens if it has bookings. There is a nice roof swimming pool, which during our stay we had to ourselves, and lots of sun loungers to chose from. |From this hotel there was easy access to drive around the island, which was beautiful. We had a nice enjoyable stay here but it was unhelpful to be informed by the receptionist, things that we should have been told on arrival. This hotel was chosen mainly to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary but more attention needs to be given to some aspects of its services.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel as i was solo travelling across Malta and i so glad i did! From the rooms, to the rooftop pool, to the staff ( especially Grace at the front desk! Who i cannot thank enough for making me feel so welcome throughout my stay, truly a gem) this hotel is 10/10 and a must if you are staying in Gozo
