The main cathedral of Santa Marta. An older white building. Outside a wider open area. Interesting to see inside a colombian church service. The people seem to have a strong faith. Even Colombians love to wear hats, be expected to take it off in the cathedral. Worth for a short visit.

A very beautiful piece of colonial architecture, both outside and inside. I was amazed at the elegance. Maintenance is ok. Ventilation inside the church is good. Statutes are beautiful. Historically very important in not just Colombian, but also in Latin American, as the city is one of the oldest surviving cities in South America. If you are in Santa Marta, this is a must visit place. Be watchful of people asking for money.

I attended Mass at 10am on Sunday. The other Mass times for Sunday are 7am, 12 noon and 5pm. There is a Saturday Mass at 5pm which I assume is a vigil Mass.
