Castel-kuriftu wine bar

Shop owned by the castel group. Local wines for 1200 birr and they have red, white and rose varieties. They serve western food and local beer too. The venue looks like a cellar, making it an excellent place for relaxation and learning more about wine. Ask about trips to the nearby wine factory too.

Everything is absolutely perfect the garden is stunning, and the dance performances on stage have truly blown me away. Such incredible talent! I would definitely return to experience it all again. Keep up the fantastic work!

Nice pit stop on the way to Langano or Hawassa. Good wines. Nice bar. Great interior design and open garden. It was fasting time, so we didn’t eat, though. The manager was extremely nice as well. Also, the wines are direct from the winery just a few miles down the road.

It is the best place to take a rest and have a wine while traveling to the Hawass side. Intrior & exterior are constructed with the local concept and material. It has a shope if you would like to buy castle product which is Rift Valley & Acacia wine. Food has a great test and staffs are friendly.

It’s a beautiful cozy restaurant in Ziway town. You can buy premium quality locally brewed wines from Castel here at reasonable prices. Must visit place. Cheers !!

Beautiful place, good food, but service was appalling. Wrong wine was served twice, when the white wine finally showed up it was warm. Coffee was burned, no wine by the glass.

Nice interior design that gives a rustic feeling, and uses bottles for decoration. The food was acceptable and the price very good. Excellent to share a bottle of wine with some friends.

Food is so so.. wine is served not cold enough. Otherwise it could be a very nice place!
