"Sydney Coffee King What started in 2002 as a little café tucked into a Newtown laneway, Campos has become one of the biggest household names in Australian specialty coffee. The company's success stems from its simple but ambitious mission: to buy, roast and serve the finest quality coffee. Today, the Campos menu rotates more than 10 direct-trade coffee varieties grown in nine regions around the world. The café continues to experiment with beans, machines, and barista techniques to maintain its order pace of hundreds of coffees per hour. Now operating in Queensland and Melbourne as well as Sydney , Campos has recently introduced cupping classes Thursday through Saturday held in a dark upstairs lounge above the Newtown location. Customers pay $30 to compare five coffee varieties from different regions and learn the different processing and preparation styles. Sydney's newest Campos café in the Alexandria neighborhood features a siphon bar that only serves select single origin coffees."

We walked in the coffee shop. Most of customers ordered the coffee for takeaway, so we easily found a seat there. Actually, we are newbie to coffee 😂 and just ordered the cold long black and affogato. They were tasty, especially the affogato. We tried this dessert in many shops or restaurants, but the one in Campos was really good. Balance between the bitter favour of coffee and sweet favour of ice cream was perfect. If you were newbie like me, recommend you to try this.

📍Campos, Newtown Sydney Campos Coffee Newtown is highly recommended🥰 Campos is a renowned coffee shop in Australia. I am a coffee enthusiast. Can’t start a morning without a good cup of coffee. This is giving a cozy vibe and it has a varied of pastries to choose from. It’s a pleasant cafe to visit. It was very busy as well and I love the window seats that we had❤️ We had some lovely croissant, cheesecakes and danish pasties and puff. I had something different that day, which was ice mocha with cream, and I love it.

Lovely coffee. It tastes special. Can’t quite put my finger on it but it is a positive experience. Try it for yourself!

Google
Lovely staff. Fantastic coffee with an assortment of flavours, textures available each day. Great seats alongside the windows - which proves relaxing. MENU: A small assortment of daily gluten and dairy free little baked delights. They have a gluten free pear and nut tart which was lovely. INTERIOR: Fresh, crisp interiors. Not ACCESSIBILITY friendly. Not suitable for prams, walkers or wheelchairs due to how narrow it is and the stairs to get in and the steep stairs up to the toilets. The friends I went with had to go to a local pub toilet as they couldn't climb the steep stairs to the toilet with their fragile knees. OVERALL: Would recommend. The background music playing throughout the day is just lovely.

I spilled it while drinking flat white, but an employee came right away and asked me if I was okay, wiped it off, and made it again. It's a cafe I want to come back to.

Google
We came for the filter coffee and flat white. The coffee came really good so we asked about brewing style. Chom gave us tips and was very patient about our bean and brewing questions. Excellent coffee and service 💯

Google
i have always loved the coffee here but lately the quality of the pastries has deteriorated. My croissant was dry inside and soft outside, and if you get there at the wrong time of the day (which is unpredictable so I can't warn you), there will be little to choose from. I bought a keep-cup for nostalgia's sake and received a free coffee in it, which was a lovely gesture!

Yelp
Possibly my favorite coffee shop amongst all the places I've been around the world. They're one of the few places that satisfy my ask of providing a wider range of single origins to choose from, with a total of 6 at any given time (3 espressos and 3 pour overs). They also have a nice touch in that they serve your coffee with the coffee bean info card that gives you an idea of the altitude, origin, processing method, and tasting notes to expect - its a small touch that anyone can do but haven't seen it anywhere else and I love it! With regards to the coffee itself their choice in beans is impeccable and they craft the drinks to perfection. I usually try different SO lattes and no matter what you can really taste the unique flavors in their espresso: we tried the Rwanda and Geisha Lattes recently, the Rwandan was amazing as usual but the Geisha was like nothing I'd tasted before - it was a complex fruity/bright flavor that is usually difficult to achieve in a latte but there's was done to perfection, highly highly recommend!

Yelp
I've seen the reviews and I came to confirm them. Yes people, they are the real deal. What everyone else have said here is truly accurate and the positive notes have stood the test of time. An intimate cafe, this is the perfect place to sit down and just enjoy your cup of beautifully smelling and amazingly tasty coffee. I have now picked up the art of differentiating between okay coffee and amazing coffee. This place not only falls into the 'amazing' category because of the wonderful staff but also because I found myself wanting to savour every sip. The aroma that was presented to my nose was out of this world and the flavour of the beans were carried even through my flat white, which has quite a bit of milk in it. Look if you are ever around in the area you have to come and get coffee here - this place does not get enough praise!

Yelp
If coffee for you is a lifestyle, as opposed to a hot drink, then you will know Campos. You just will. If you don't, then you either need to reconsider your lifestyle or burst your sheltering bubble. Campos is an internationally renowned Australian coffee company that is well deserved of its renown. There are always at least three people manning their coffee machines and the time of writing there are five good looking men on the machines and one good looking lady taking orders. The staff here are as consistently friendly as their coffee is delicious, which explains why the tiny shop is packed and the line-up for takeaways trails out the door and down Missenden Rd every day that it's open. The shop itself has only seven tall but small round tables in the cramped back room and one long bench lining the wall of the narrow coffee shop, making space for as many caffeinds as the small shop allows. The Campos brand is spreading far and wide, but their HQ is still the best place to go to get the most out of this amazing bean. They also have at least 10 different bean blends available to be taken home and offer coffee's next big thing, "Dutch Coffee" (cold drip) in frosted piccolo glasses - today's is made from an Ethiopian Sidamo bean. Campos coffee is proven and piquant, reliable and rapturous. The review in a sentence or three? Hot baristas at Campos. And the coffee is great too. Yum and Yum.

Yelp
The gourmet coffee scene in Newtown can be divided in to two camps - those who choose Luxe Bakery, and those whose loyalties lie next door, at Campos. I've not decided which of the two I prefer - both seem different in ambience to me. When I visited Campos, the first thing I noticed was the richly caffeinated wafts of coffee that linger throughout the café. I loved the metal containers nailed to the back wall filled with a huge variety of coffee beans, and they also have an eclectic range of coffee grinders. These give the unmistakeable message that Campos is first-and-foremost a coffee shop, with food being of secondary importance to them. Campos makes an incredible Affrogato - an ivory ice cream island surrounded by a rich, dark lake of coffee. What's also good to know is that Campos offer coffee-tasting sessions where you can taste a number of different roasts and blends until you find your favourite. This is a brilliant idea, especially when confronted with their extensive range of beans. It also goes to confirm my observation that Campos is the best place to go for coffee, whereas Luxe would be my choice for breakfast/lunch or a snack. That's just my preference though - go make your own.

Yelp
I very clearly remember the day Campos Coffee and I met. I was at my cousin's house. She was showing off her new coffee machine. We were making affogato (our fathers would be proud). She was over excited to show me her coffee beans. I too get excited by good beans, but my cousin was getting beyond delirious and I began feeling sceptical. But the coffee jar opened and the room filled with the most amazing aroma. And this was before we even started to extract it! Where did you buy this coffee? I had to ask. Campos in Newtown. Oh yeah, it's only the best coffee in Sydney. The rest of the cousins joined in. Now I only ever go to Campos to buy my coffee beans. I have never ordered an actual coffee here as such but I'm sure it is just as good made by their actual baristas. It should be noted that I even managed convert my father to Campos beans after using Vittoria for over 10 years. Damn good!

Jin L.

Yelp
Coffee is good. There is no denying. However, only when you get it. I've recently experienced multiple times when it took 20 mins to get your coffee (not ideal if you're grabbing one on the way to work) or they simply forget the order altogether after accepting the money. If you are a total coffee snob as many Sydneysiders are, just make sure you check with them while waiting so you know they've got your order. Not sure if the hassle and wait are worth it though.

Raif O.

Yelp
Visited after I read all 5 star reviews and not disappointed. Excellent flat white and latte, good size taste and temperature. Quick service and if you like some sweet bites with coffee there are reasonable choices.

Peter S.

Yelp
Dang. The flat white I had here was probably the best I've ever had. Put it this way, this was a flat white I sipped slowly, savouring each drop like a good filter coffee rather than consumed in a few thoughtful gulps. Part of the reason for this may be that, very unusually, you can choose your espresso coffee (from two choices) here rather than have it chosen for you. I opted for a Guatemala bean and the familiar chocolate tones came through very clearly. Wow. I see they also do affogatos and filter coffee, which I'm definitely be trying next time.

Audrey L.

Yelp
exquisite specialty coffee. yes i said it. sorry Starbies, you've got nothing on Oz when it comes to coffee. every cup of coffee is special, the flavors are bold but not burned, a traditional yet rich, true coffee flavor and smell. we came for Coffee Cupping, like wine tasting for buyers but open to the general public. while we waited in the shop, you could hear the buzz of conversation, grinding of beans, aromatic coffee smell, and see cups beautifully foam frothed toped with latte art. when the barista approached and asked us if we were here for the Coffee Cupping session I nodded and she motioned to follow her. we did into the back of the store, through the back wall, up the stairs into a dimly lit room let up with a long table prepared with cups of hot water, coffee grinds, and spatoon cups. the head Barista introduced himself and took us through the Campos coffee relationship with the farmers, the processing, and the cupping process. it was a very educational and enjoyable experience. to top it off, we got to each take home a bag of beans and had the opportunity to buy super special harvests from Kenya and Brasil. it may be a few months, but i can't wait to come back!

Yelp
In case the name didn't give it away, this place is serious about their coffee. Having become a fan of the Campos brand of coffee coming here was a bit of special moment - and the variety of beans available did not disappoint. The first thing you notice is the setup for coffee - they are obviously used to big rushes, with a ton of friendly staff and multiple coffee machines to handle the load. Gathering from the crowds that came and went whilst I was there they are obviously popular in the area as well. The coffee.... was a little bit of an anticlimax - it was a good coffee, but I've had better. I was a little disappointed with my double macchiato - although it was only the small details that bothered me. My pet hate is having the coffee served in a large glass. It's not the end of the world, but something that is not uncommon at just casual coffee stores - I was quite surprised to have it served here (a large glass should be unnecessary - a double shot is more about quality then quantity, and whilst there will be more liquid it's not twice as much.... and so a large glass cools the coffee off, meaning you have to gulp it down before it cools). Kudos on the service tho - one of the guys must have noticed that I was not 100% satisfied, and without any comment from me bought me another coffee - still a large glass, but I was super-impressed with the service and attention... especially given the volume of clients they receive. It is very rare to get such good attention to service in any venue, much less one that has such a large captive audience - so Campos Coffee, +1 to you! Coffee: Double macchiato Bean: Campos (if you had not worked it out) Crema: Not bad 8.5/10 Overall Taste: Nice, 8.5/10 Served in: Latte glass (-1) Preparation: Quite good, my first was a bit milky, but the replacement was much better.

Yelp
You could be excused for thinking that you're in a night club if you rock up here at 10am looking for a coffee. The crowd is 5 deep at the counter, and people are filling at the high tables, throwing back coffees and having animated conversations with friends and colleagues. The baristas are focused and the service efficient at this Newtown institution. The idea is come in, get your fix, and then move on out the way for the next caffeine addict. Don't come here looking for brunch - there's a small selection of cakes and pastry on offer but everything else is shunned in an attempt to keep the focus on the bean. Freshly roasted beans are delivered from their nearby roastery - you can try the house blend through the espresso machine or take home a bag of blended or single origin coffee.

Yelp
Experience : Needed our coffee fix on our trip and Australia definitely did not disappoint with their Coffee Food: One of the goals of our trip was getting coffee from as many coffee shops in Australia as possible. Coffee here is way better than the US and we were told Campos was the best. I got the iced mocha and it definitely hit the spot before starting our day of being tourists. Lots of cute pastries but I opted not to get any. Atmosphere/Setting: Cute place with some seating available. I really liked the decor along with the display of all the different coffee beans they sold. Service: Wasn't quick, wasn't slow but I wasn't in any rush, plus I was admiring the decor. Final thoughts: If I'm ever in the area, or country again, I'll be back.

Yelp
Book a cupping room session on the weekend. Note this means you need to make a reservation prior to just showing up (a few days in advance at a minimum). The cupping room is an experience that few get to experience. Plus it only costs $9 per person. As you wait for the cupping room you just hang out in the coffee shop amazed at the crowds, the various coffee machines (will discuss later), and the feel of the coffee culture here. Then someone comes down and brings you to a secret room up a flight of stairs in the back of the shop. Now your experience begins. This gives you an in depth and behind the scenes look at the Campos brand. You will learn about the various farms and types of coffee bean prep methods, how the beans at Campos are tested for flavours, how flavours are mixed, and then get to do it yourself. You will get to try five or six different coffees with the owner or a fairly high up staff member who has gone on trips to coffee tastings at the farms. After that, you can buy some of their bean on discount (pretty much means your trip to the cupping room was free). Afterwards, if you want more coffee, you can get it. From the regular (still very high quality) espresso machines, to the Slayer, to the dutch cold coffee filter you have many choices of bean and machine. I only wish I lived closer to this place so this could be my local coffee shop.

Chloe R.

Yelp
This place seems to be packed at any time of day and it is no wonder why when you find out about the effort Campos Coffee put into their blends. My friend and I booked a mid-week coffee cupping course with Campos for $20. This 45 minute session explained the intricacies of coffee cupping, from its purpose to the process to the techniques used for explaining and identifying different coffee blends. I could have spent another hour asking questions but our expert guide gave us a tonne of information from the afternoon. Although we didn't get to sit and try a coffee from the cafe, I would not hesitate to drink Campos coffee blends in the future after trying the variety of coffees they select from, carefully selected, farms across the world. If you have even the slightest interest in coffee (you don't have to be a connoisseur) this is a great course, of great value to take!

Abby D.

Yelp
Campos is a temple to coffee excellence and they don't compromise for anyone. They are uncompromising in fact that a friend got asked to take her mandarin outside because the smell of the orange oils was "interfering with other patrons' enjoyment" of the coffee aroma. No urban myth here - this really happened to a friend of mine and I can never decide if I admire their uncompromising commitment to the coffee experience or find it completely insufferable. That said, the beans are excellent particularly the organic, which I trek across town for every two weeks. Don't settle for pre-ground even if it was done yesterday - they will grind it to suit your machine which is exactly as it should be. The house superior blend is a little low key for my tastes but I have friends who swear by the caramel tones. It's a shame that so many crimes are perpetuated by cafes across Sydney stocking Campos - the quality of the product is ruined by indifferent extraction and I sometimes wish the obsessive control freak tendencies on display in the Missenden Road branch would extend to auditing which cafes can adequately represent their brand. Commitment to quality coffee does not extend as far as providing a comfortable environment. This tiny terrace is frequently packed with a disproportionate number of elbows and chair legs to be tripped over. Woe betide you if you attempt to order beans with your takeaway coffee as you can be guaranteed to receive only one of these in the chaos. In cases of a complex order (two items) I have taken to asking for an itemised receipt and memorising the faces and attire of the customers immediately before and after me, then standing alert and uncaffeinated for 20 minutes wih eyes swiveling to and fro to make sure my order wasn't missed. But the aggravation is all worth it for the cloud of heavenly aroma that balloons out of my bag for the next two days and whenever the coffee tin is opened at home. Wouldn't drink anything else.

Yelp
93 Missenden Rd, Newtown NSW 2042 (02) 9516 3361 I have no idea why I did not come here sooner. Two words - Coffee Heaven. Absolutely recommend this place. The coffee is 10/10. I have only had the coffee mind you, regular coffee and the Belgium white chocolate ice-cream affogato. The affogato blows my mind every time. When the expresso is merged with the ice-cream it tastes like fine coffee ice-cream which still has a bitterness to it from the expresso. The affogato honestly quite addictive, and if I could, I would be tempting to have one every day. They have a hazelnut affogato on the menu, but I have not been able to walk past the Belgium white chocolate when deciding at the counter. Highly recommended! Coffee: 10/10 Value for money: 7.5/10 Ambience: 7.5/10 Service: 7.5/10 Overall Score: 32.5/40 $

Caitlin S.

Yelp
While not as quaint as you'd hope your local coffee shop would be, it's all about the beans here. Campos has developed as a rep as an absolute coffee institution, and while I can't say there coffee isn't delicious, I can say that I have had coffees lately that are much better (cough, cough .. The House). The ambiance is somewhat commercial and the never-ending buzz of caffeine crazies waiting for their fix only fuels that fire. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a load off here for more than 30 minutes, but I would definitely say it's by far the best coffee on King Street.

Brian M.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee in the world! I am so happy to be back in Sydney to experience it again at their 1st store. Campos rocks! If you are a coffee lover this location is a must visit to enjoy for yourself. Now open Sunday's

Sharn G.

Yelp
If you blink you'll miss the door to this coffee haven. So don't blink. Think of the weeping angels and scuttle through this door for the sweet elixir that will keep you safe. The space is small inside, however the staff are friendly and the coffee is good. They have a range of coffee beans. I wasn't there long enough to figure out if they did food as I needed to wiggle my way down the road to my physio appointment, but it is a good fast service with a smile. And good coffee, did I mention that already?

Dominique L.

Yelp
Campos makes the best coffee in the world. I went there once back in 2006 and it was amazing. You may think once - and a long time ago at that - may not be enough for anyone to judge, so I'll just add that the New York Times deemed the coffee at this place worth the 20 hour flight from New York. That's how good it is. The brownies served at the cafe are also really good. A friend asked me buy him some when I went over as he really missed the brownies. Upon my arrival at the cafe, I made a long-distance call to check how many he wanted. His response? All of them. I ended up buying 17 brownies to bring back to Singapore. Given that Campos only gets its brownies delivered once weekly on Monday, and this was a Thursday, I'm pretty sure the long queue of people behind me weren't best pleased. The server was a little astonished but incredibly sweet in helping me pack them up neatly so that I could bring them back to my hotel. If you're wondering, I took a couple of brownies as my commission, and they were indeed lovely.

Suman K.

Yelp
These people are seriously serious about the coffee! Its one of the best coffees in Sydney and that's why they deserved to be reviewed. Any time I am in the area I don't miss an opportunity to get a cuppa. Campos coffee is so rich in flavour and in aroma , you can tell from a distance that its good coffee. That's why this place is so busy and you always need to queue. But when you get the cup in your hand - it's well worth the wait. The good thing is that this place is so consistent. the staff is friendly and efficient, in spite of being so busy they don't really mess up the orders. If you love your coffee you ought to go there. The pies are good to . hmm I need a coffee now ..

Isabel Y.

Yelp
If you go to Sydney Uni, it is pretty much compulsory that you drink coffee and includes an initiation to Campos coffee due to its proximity. That's how I came across Campos all those years ago. And it hasn't changed at all, the coffee is still one of the best in Sydney and sweet stuff available to satisfy that sugar craving. In keeping with the relaxed vibe, you just help yourself! The seating area is a bit cramped so takeaway is usually the better option. Campos coffee is now available everywhere, but its worth the trip to Newtown as the coffee is always lovingly made, strong, smooth and just tastes so damn good!

Dom A.

Yelp
King Street in Newtown is a pretty busy street but does stretch for a couple of kilometres (I'm just guessing the exact distance. I'm sure I could check it but that's not the point). Campos Coffee right next to the Marlborough Hotel on the corner of King Street and Missenden Road is also a busy place but unlike King Street is very very small (You see my point!). The fact that it is busy though is more to do with the quality of the coffee and popularity of the place than its actual size. Some mornings people are clammering out the door to get their morning caffeine hit and it wouldn't surprise if a majority came back in the arvo for a dose. There's also some sweets and food to accompany your coffee and even some coffee beans if you want to take it home and try it yourself. It'll be good but surely not as good as coming here!

Elyse S.

Yelp
I can't believe there are only 35 reviews for one of the original coffee shops of the area! While visiting Sydney, a friend brought us in and immediately you are greeting with a friendly, neighborhood coffeeshop vibe. The staff were friendly and they have dairy-alternative milks. My Piccolo was great! You order and they bring your drinks out to you, which is nice, and more pleasant than standing and waiting for them to yell your order. They had some delicious looking pastries, but nothing GF. We watched the baristas for a while and they made some delicious looking drinks - including stuff with ice cream. Yum. It looks like a great place for a flat white and a book, but seating is very limited and if you're in during peak timing, you'll have to read somewhere else. It was really crowded when we arrived, but timed it right and got one seat and some standing room at the counter.

Patrick F.

Yelp
Campos was a small Newtown upstart back in my uni days, and on returning to Sydney after an absence of several years it seems to have taken over the whole city, with cafes everywhere boasting that they serve Campos beans. This little corner shop is where it all began, and my only complaint now is that Campos' success makes getting a caffeine hit a bit of a trial. With students and staff from the nearby uni and hospital flocking here, it can take the better part of half an hour to get your take away order. Still, it's worth it. On a hot day, definitely go for the affogato. The campos blends and beans are also available to buy, so you can have it at home without the wait.

Nuwan D.

Yelp
I was introduced to campos as a uni student 6 years ago, and it's one of my favourite places in Newtown. It's easily the best smelling shop I've come across anywhere! Campos coffee is generally very good, although I've found that the quality of my last few coffees has been variable - this may just be my bad luck. In any case, I will still definitely be back for more. If you've never had their affagato, this is a must - great coffee and creamy ice cream..what better way to enjoy your summer?

Joel Amigo H.

Yelp
Instead of think of coffee, think of Campos. It's in a league of it own. This is the headquarters to my cherished caffeine addiction. I thank God for inventing coffee. I thank Campos for making it taste so good. The exemplary level of expertise it requires to be a Campos barrister, means that you will most definitely get an amazing coffee every time - you don't need to be scared that you don't know, or haven't seen that new barrister before, they're sure to be excellent. If you're in the mood for beans - grab a voucher for a friend to join you in their coffee tasting sessions, and take this as an education into the rich sooth blend, the un-burnt, sweet and bitter creme, the subtle flavours of chocolate and hazelnut, and the coffee art - i.e. Coffee porn.

Yelp
Brilliant fresh well made coffee. Worth the wait (which is usually really long) but you generally need to have had a coffee already to deal with the crampedness and queue. Oh yeah. I was brave one day and tried the 'Sparkling Black' which was black coffee with fizzy water and Hmm. That's the only reaction I can think of...hmmm... it wasn't horrible... I just couldn't work out if I liked it or not. There's probably a reason why no-one else does them. Interesting idea though.

Nelson A.

Yelp
The focus at Campos is COFFEE. Tunnel vision can be restrictive or lead to perfection. Campos is the latter. Whether you want an excellent espresso or quality roasted beans for your own brewing, Campos is the best choice in Sydney. Be warned. Some nibbles are available but remember coffee is the business.

Siri W.

Yelp
Alright, I'm about to get superlative here. This is the best effing cup of coffee I have ever had in my entire life. That's no lie. Being from Canada, I have noticed that Sydney is insane about their coffee. In a good way. They are intense, dedicated and not about to screw around with their caffeine intakes. Drip coffee is a dirty word in Sydney. So when I was recommended Campos in Newtown as the be-all-and-end-all of coffee experiences, I was unsure what to expect. I had already been blown away by Sydney coffee, how much better could it be? Turns out, a lot. The place is all tucked away down Missenden road. It would be quite easy to walk by and not notice it. It's not very big, and quite simple inside, but when I walked in (or tried to) on a Tuesday around 10, the place was jammed full of people waiting for coffee. I was unsure of where the line began since the sheer volume of patrons obstructed any formation of what might possibly be a line, so I just made my way up to the counter, asked for a cappuccino and sat back. It took a good amount of time, but given the amount of people also waiting for coffee, I was not surprised and in no particular hurry either. So I waited. I people watched. I observed the barista's in their zenlike state of concentration. And I finally got my coffee. There being no place to chill, I decided to take it for a walk and took my first sip. Holeeey Cow. So good. So velvety, rich, unbelievably delicious that I had to stop walking, get my lean on and enjoy. So glad this is in my neighbourhood. Campos, I'll be seeing you again real soon.

Tim B.

Yelp
Very funky little cafe just off King Street. The coffee is very flavoursome and expertly prepared at just the right warmth (this is high praise from a Melburnian!). The place can get a little crowded, but still feels homely, with a good atmosphere.

Susan C.

Yelp
Really great coffee, friendly & coffee-passionate service, cosy atmosphere. Place is always bustling. They sell a few small cakes/treats to enjoy with your drink, but it's really all about the coffee. There are tables and chairs if you want to drink in. Engaging cupping sessions done upstairs.

Phi N.

Yelp
Damn! Coffee so smooth & creamy! Why can't all the cafes that have Campos beans do the same?

Ice L.

Yelp
The uh-roh-moh of the coffee is subtle yet enticing when one passes by the Campos Coffee outlet. This little shop is located at 193 Missenden Road Newtown in Sydney. My friend once said the easiest way to know if a shop's coffee is great, it to use your nose and smell. If the smell of the coffee lingers out to the street, Go For It! Heeding my friend's advice, I headed in through the small doorway into Campos. Though small, there are several high chairs with high tables to accommodate the coffee lovers who decide to dine(drink?) in. To accompany me on my coffee journey, I had six other friends with me. All of us ordered different types of coffee. Personally, my Mocha was absolutely lovely. The marriage between coffee and chocolate! Who wouldn't love that Another thing to love, the my mocha came with coffee art on it. Beautiful! I also stole a few sips from my friend's iced coffee and cappuccino. Loved that too! The coffee were all well roasted and well done by the Barrista as the coffee wasn't bitter. Everything was in balance. What a good start to the day! The ambiance of the place is like a regular take away place as the chatters go on and people streaming in getting their doses of coffee throughout the day. There are also beautifully presented pastries and chocolate brownies in the glass enclosures. Though I have not had the chance to taste them, they look mouth watering. Would definitely give it a try the next time around. The staff and barristas there are helpful and mostly friendly. The one serving me behind the counter was quite good looking too! Hey, one can have good coffee with good looking barrista. All in all, it was great coffee. Of the three times that I was there, all three of my Mocha's were an absolute pleasure to drink. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
Consistently Perfect coffee. Can be a bit of a wait and not much seating, but really worth it!

Yelp
Rate everything highly from coffee to service! Wifi would have helped with work this morning but without it it's a cool way to relax and start the day. The chaos behind the machine is well oiled and has a soothing rhythm with the bangs, clicks, whirs and other noises. Loved it.

Yelp
I have drunk Campos coffee for years but only recently did the cupping experience in above the Missenden road store. We were directed through the process by the head green bean buyer which blew me away. I kept thinking surely you have somewhere else to be on a Saturday afternoon but this was yet another demonstration of the commitment of Campos company and staff to coffee. The backgorund to the process the different growing regions, the info about specific growers was great. If you like educating your palate as well as you mind then get along to one of these sessions. Thanks to all at Campos for . . all those cups I have drunk over the years. M

Yelp
Great, consistent coffee. Of course if you didn't know that about Campos by now you've either just moved here or you've been living under a rock. Campos has a stellar reputation and they live up to it, every time.
