This place is absolutely incredible! The yoga in the morning is the best i've ever experienced, and the adventure trips are so much fun!|Especially the howler monkey hike and surfing.|Every single guide is so skilled and impressive.|The food is unbelievably good and their ability to remember and how much they care about providing you with a wonderful meal in line with any food sensitivities/allergies carefully noted to avoid; the staff truly cares so much, it makes you feel incredibly special. Carlos especially was fantastic to chat with and be around. His drinks were incredible and he gave the most fantastic recommendations for the rest of our travels in Panama city. The care and kindness you will experience here is unmatched.

I just returned from a six-day dance retreat at this exquisite location, and I feel completely rejuvenated and happy. This place is absolutely magical—the staff feels like family, even after just one day, and the food is absolutely incredible. I’m still dreaming about the pineapple and coffee crusted ribs from one of our dinners- divine!! The view was breathtaking, and falling asleep every night to the sound of crashing waves was pure serenity. The surroundings are pristine, and the surfing here is refreshingly non-competitive, which is such a welcome change coming from LA. This is the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with yourself and with nature. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

I had the pleasure of staying at Selva Terra in July as my uncle celebrated his 40th birthday there. I was really looking forward to this trip as I’d never been to Central America before, and it was long awaited. Everyone in our group were friends and family and we flew in from all over the world. Me and my husband flew in from London (12 hours flight) and decided to stay overnight in Panama City. The resort took care of all the logistics even in the capital. When we got off the plane, we were greeted by a lovely lady who took us through customs and brought us to our driver. We spent the night in the Sofitel and the next morning did some souvenir shopping and checked out the Panama Canal. Then we took the domestic flight to David to head to the island. I 100% recommend asking them for assistance in Panama City, it removes the logistical headache from travelling or feeling lost when you arrive, which is worse when you’ve travelled so far.|When we arrived in David, the journey to the resort took around 1 hour which went by really fast as the boat ride to the island is just stunning. Once we arrived, we had our welcome drink, checked in, and were given a briefing on the tours during our stay. Everything was really organised, you can tell they specialise in group bookings. We did the monkey hike, surfed and kayaked near the mangroves and did an island hopping day too. On our rest day, we had a barbeque on their beach, played volleyball and swam.. you have the whole beach to yourself. This part of the world is truly magical, the resort is private and exclusive, there are plenty of activities, the area is not touristy and you really feel like you are in paradise. I would return in a heartbeat.

The staff and the location was sooooo beautiful and peaceful. I had the most wonderful time and the staff made it the best! The Food was amazing and the drinks were the best! I highly recommend this for the best time of your life. The location is so relaxing and a great place to restore your soul!

Selva Terra is the most beautiful island resort I’ve ever stayed. Sam and her staff go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. From kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and the most beautiful views, this place has it all! The food is sensational and I looked forward to every meal we had. I can’t wait to go back here! This place is 100000/10!

I have hosted dance retreats all over the world and Selva Terra is one of the most magical places we've traveled. It's so refreshing and wonderful when you arrive to a place and it's exceeds your expectation in every way! From the pre-planning prior to arrival, to the service at the resort, the wonderful staff (Samantha, Carlos, Yaneth, Jens, Mikael, etc), the food - WOW!!!!, the drinks, the accommodations, the views, the studio, the transportation, communication, the variety of excursions, etc. etc...We normally don't visit a retreat destination twice because there are so many places in the world to experience, but when I asked my group if they would like to come back, they all said YESSSSSS!!! So I look forward to returning to Selva Terra. Muchsimas Gracias por todo! We miss you already! Selva Terra has become our new home and we are so grateful.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality and eagerness to assist with anything set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The food at the resort was nothing short of excellent. Each meal was a culinary delight, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes and preferences. The chefs clearly put a lot of thought and care into every dish, and it was evident in the presentation. Dining here was a highlight of my stay, and I looked forward to every meal. The resort itself is a pristine paradise. Every detail, from the beautifully landscaped grounds to the meticulously maintained facilities, was thoughtfully planned out. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, offering stunning views and all the amenities one could wish for. It was clear that a lot of care went into creating a serene and relaxing environment. One of the standout features of the resort was the variety of activities and amenities available. Whether I wanted to relax by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, or explore the local area, there was always something to do. The resort's commitment to providing a well-rounded experience was truly impressive. I would go back in a heartbeat. This resort exceeded all my expectations and provided an unforgettable experience.
