Family of four popped in for take away pastries. The pastries we had were tasty and not too expensive for where this is. Service was friendly. Their queuing system is non existent for such a busy place and it felt like a mad dash to the ordering counter. I would go back. And think this is a solid place.

Plainest, most bland food ever. Below average bread (the bare minimum for me is decent Italian bread!). Tourist trap. Service was good

A classic Italian caffé in the touristy place of the city. The table service could be improved. We had few drinks, but it's not the best place to enjoy some beer and cocktails, so for he next time, I would definitely go there just for a simple coffee.

Pay and get out, you're not welcomed here. I asked the lady at the cookies counter if I should grab my order myself or if it will be served, she confirmed it will be served to me. I ordered cookies and tea - none of them require any time for preparing. I waited 20-30 minutes only to find out that I should have approached the bar man for tea, and my cookies just stayed at the cookies counter and nobody bothered why they were there. The bar man did not even look at me when I came, with a very arrogant face he continued preparing cocktails without saying a word, like "a minute, please" or a smile. You just pay and then nobody cares what you ordered or whether you know where to get your order, you just go figure yourself.

Good place to hang out around the Duomo. Good service and ofc coffee too.

It’s a classic Italian cafe that has long history. It is very touristy because of its prime location (nose to nose with the Duomo). Having said that, the coffee is strong and delicious, pasties are great. It has outdoor seating that’s perfect for people watching when your feet are tired from walking. Do note, espresso standing at the bar is €1.40 versus seating down with service is €4. There are a few, very limited tables inside, just across the bar that has ‘no service’ so you can have your coffee and pastries for regular price however it’s a coveted seats, long queue. Come early like we did. Because this place is constantly busy, service can be spotty. The only ever consistent are the bartenders (they are never called barista in Italy I think). They are swift, friendly, charming and always fresh piping hot coffee! I’d recommend it for the people watching, and being seated in a posh cafe. Otherwise there are a few more to choose from.

Went for a coffee and the cafe was amazing. Great atmosphere, designed really well and coffee was great. Located in piazza di santa maria which has many things to do around and for a quick coffee or desert, I recommend.
