Caffè Parisi

I came here mainly to try the pasticciotto, but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered a double espresso macchiato along with a ricotta chocolate pasticciotto. The coffee was quite average, almost watery, and the ricotta in the pasticciotto was too dry for my taste. The service was slow, but the worst part was sitting outside. They use steel chairs on cobblestone, so every time someone moved or left their seat, the noise was really loud and distracting. If you decide to visit, definitely try to sit indoors!

Very polite service. Good Vitello tonnato. Good tiramisù with a twist - instead of the classic lady fingers they used a chocolate sponge. But the best part was the ice cream - super delicious pistacchio gelato!

Visited this place today and all I can say is that it was an amazing experience. Really nice service and super good food. What stood out the most was the tiramisu, I have never had such a perfect one like this before! Definitely a must have when you visit this place. And while you're at it, add one coffee on top, as they are with cute artworks and taste delicious too.

Scam! They made us pay 50% “bar service charge”! We ordered two cappuccinos inside at their bar, for EUR 1,50 each according to their menu. The waitress told us to sit outside, she would bring our order. The cappuccinos were fine, but when we walked in afterwards to pay the total of EUR 3 (plus a tip, of course), the super unfriendly guy behind the counter demanded EUR 4,5 - thanks to a ridiculous “bar service charge” which none of the cafes we visited during our 3+ weeks all over Italy (and there were many!) ever dared to ask! Unfortunately, we only saw later from the many bad reviews here (filter for “lowest score”) that this is the usual scam of this place. Well, we’re in town for a couple of days, and this bar will certainly never see us again. If you consider visiting Caffè Parisi, better stay away and choose one of the honest bars in Nardò!

Dirty classes, fruit salad was obviously from a cheep can (during summer) only melon was fresh. Service was ok though. The only nice thing was nice music in the garden.

Beautiful mid century café and bar with all the right features. From the typical pasticciotti to gourmet croissants locally made with top quality ingredients, really great caffè (espresso) and coffee choices. I also enjoyed their service. From around midday Italian aperitivi and international cocktails are served. A staple during my days in Nardò.

They gave us an Cannolo that tasted like refrigerator and a fruit salad that looked like it was run over in a truck. When I kindly tried to inform them about the Cannolo I was told by the waiter that he was Sicilian and he could assure me it was how they are supposed to taste as they have semifreddo inside. As if. Fridge tastes like fridge no matter where you are in the world and arrogant rude waiters are like that wherever you go. So just don’t go here. It’s all a farse. Oh and they still charged us for both. Don’t waste your time. .
