I’ve been to this neighborhood coffee shop many times in the past and have always had a positive experience. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed by the rude attitude encountered from the staff. I simply asked for an explanation of a menu item, and was met with a dismissive and unhelpful response—this happened twice during my same visit. It was clear that the staff member wasn’t in a good mood. I understand everyone has off days, but this type of customer service is not acceptable nor appropriate, it’s unfortunate that this one interaction left a negative impression. The coffee here is still solid, and the shop is usually a great spot to relax, but this one was made uneventful. I decided to take my business elsewhere, as it’s important to feel welcomed when you're spending your money at a local shop. Hopefully, this was just a one-off experience.

Love the coffee here! They serve the Vita beans brands, I didn’t know before visiting. A huge fan of their coffee. I ordered a regular small hot latte. The barista was super nice and patient. Not too many tables, but many people working around the tables and working. They have WiFi and many outlets. Def coming back to work on my laptop from here.

Cozy establishment with excellent art. The staff is welcoming and they menu is diverse. Excellent structure perfect for meeting friends or having business meetings

Uniquely pleasant place - warm atmosphere with decorative lamps and nice wood interior. A pleasant place to sit and work both inside or outside under the large awning. Staff clearly about what they do. The maple bar latte was delicious and different with a touch of salt. Baked goods from Macrina bakery are top notch. A really great neighborhood vibe at this place - no wonder it's always full of people.

I love this place so much! I've never had a bad cup of coffee here, and I'm quite picky when it comes to my coffee. Every Barista is very nice and has great recommendations. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. I also love sitting outside in there comfy adirondack chairs and watching folks walk their dogs. If you are in Queen Anne, this is a stop you shouldn't miss.

I popped into this place in a rainy day - I was desperately needing a coffee before running late for a hair appointment across the street at Intermezzo Salon, and was so impressed with their coffee! The maple bar was great too. I’m not sure if their get their donuts from Top Pot across the street but it seemed like the same quality which super yummy! There were some other people in the store enjoying coffee and escaping the rain, so it seems like a great place to hang out and stay a while. Or even a neighborhood favorite among the locals. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area!

We stumbled upon this place while walking around the Queen Anne area looking at open houses. It was a cloudy day and this place gave us the complete Seattle vibe. The inside was dark and cozy and there was good energy about the crowd that was there. There was no problem finding a seat while we waited for our drinks. They had a seasonal menu for the holidays that had some great options. It was hard deciding between the Mint Mocha, Eggnog Latte, or Pumpkin Latte. I ended up with the Pumpkin Latte and it was great! They also had a kids menu so my daughter got a kid's hot cocoa, which she enjoyed. There is self serve water and the staff was friendly. Great neighborhood spot!

* I usually never write a review * SERVICE (2/5): It was my first time here and right when I walked in, the atmosphere was perfect for sitting down and getting work done here sometimes. My fiance and I were looking at the menu to see what special drinks they had and needed some time. The barista, the best description I could give is a tall guy with shoulder length blonde hair, had a rude tone and asked if we were going to get any drinks. I had a question and asked what the "mudhoney mocha" was as I never heard of "mudhoney"before. He wasnt particularly rude but he wasnt friendly either, he responded with what I could describe as an annoyed/tired voice "it is just honey".. I was shocked by how he responded and just went with something I usually get. Maybe it is just based off the name of the band "Mudhoney" and it is just a mocha with honey in it but, as a customer I would like it if it was told in a nicer way. The only reason I did not rate it a 1 is because the lady at the cashier was friendly and made me feel much more at ease after the interaction I just had. In the end, I just couldnt shake off how he responded which spoiled my excitement to be here. DRINKS/FOOD (3/5): I got the maple bar latte with OATMILK, it tasted good but the fact it definitely tasted like WHOLE milk ruined it for me.. I am lactose intolerant and I can taste the difference, after the first interaction.. I did not want to interact with him again so thank goodness I had a lactaid on me. Fiance got a sausage egg sandwich and it was okay. I am not sure whether we'll come here again, I would like to think maybe he was having a bad day (doesnt excuse being rude to anyone).. but the interaction left me feeling unwelcomed and I would rather go to the cafes I have always felt welcomed in.

The drink was pretty good overall. I got a nonfat matcha latte with berry cloud. The berry cloud was unique and added a freshness to the matcha. The service was fine. I don't think the barista was rude, but they weren't particularly friendly either. The ambiance was also fine. The seating is a bit strange with lots of large tables with a skinny high top bar in the middle. There's some chairs outside but many of them were full and someone was doing painting work on one side, so those were roped off.

I went to Kerry park and need a cup of coffee. I found this cafe in yelp. I was worried because the rating is less than 4 however it all went well! I had a Cortado and the coffee maker did latte art, really love it! There are many people hanging out in the cafe and it looks great! The coffee maker seems tired due to there are too many customers

Coffee is amazing- all Fiores and Vitas are amazing- the Sunday morning crew gets overwhelmed and can be a little rough with customers it's quite sad. I know they are busy but I hope they can put on a smile

I went here on a Sunday morning, they had a line which extended out the door but the wait wasn't too bad as it was moving fast. The baristas were helpful and answered all the questions we had. The register was also pretty quick and accurate with billing and checkout. I do think the prices are a bit on the higher side, it was about $18 before tip for a couple of 12oz lattes. The ambience and seating inside was very comfortable. The mocha I had was very tasty and not super sweet unlike some other places which load it with sugar, so I liked it. They use Cafe Vita coffee for their coffees. I'll recommend checking this place if you are in the area.

I just want to say that this cafe has ALL the right tools! A scale, auto-tamper, etc. But some knowledge is needed. This cafe doesn't know how to froth and steam milk. WAY too much air. The top was horribly bubbly, and the bottom was too runny. Cute shop, much potential. Just learn your craft and teach your employees.

I came in for an 8 oz latte at $5.75. I was charged $1.75 extra for oatmilk in the little 8oz cup. I've never been charged for oatmilk anywhere else, and $1.75?!!! That's taking advantage and not appreciated. I'll go elsewhere next time. I wished I had cancelled the order and left.

I expected more but it's a much-needed tiny shop in the neighborhood near the Seattle sunset hotspot. The ambience inside is dark and too small for comfort. And while the drinks were made fast, the register was not because long, personal conversations were more important than the line going out the door. My review is mostly influenced by my drink, the Mandy, which was too weird for my matcha-loving taste and I ended up throwing it all out. I'm sure their coffee is better.

I have never had such a rude experience from anywhere, ever. I called to see if I'm able to place an order for pickup. The lady said "no" and hung up. I was nearby so I walked in to question why they were so incredibly rude and the person making coffee was also extremely rude to me. I don't know what their problem is but there is no reason for this behavior.

My husband and I were visiting Seattle a few weekends ago and of course needed to check out a bunch of coffee shops - Caffe Fiore happened to be one of the spots we stumbled across while it was raining one morning. This cute little coffee shop is in the beautiful Queen Anne area. There's not a ton of seating inside, but we were able to grab 2 stools at the window. Service was friendly and quick, and the latte art was beautiful. I got a matcha latte while my husband got a caramel latte - we were both so satisfied sipping on our lattes while watching the rain fall down outside. I'd definitely come back to this cozy little spot if I'm even in the area again!

Yesterday, a group of my friends from church and I walked over to Caffe Fiore simply wanting a nice cup of coffee. When we entered, we were greeted with hostility from three of the employees. But one stood out the most, a man with longer hair began aggressively yelling at us to get in line directing us. First of all, we all had been there before and we knew exactly what to do. But it didn't make sense why he was being so rude. There is a proper way to offer instructions to customers and that was not it. He continued to act this way while everyone was ordering and I did speak to the assistant manager about his behavior. We, the customers were not being routey and were not being disrespectful at all when we arrived. It was completely uncalled for and I'm genuinely thinking about telling all of my friends not to come here in the future due to the poor customer service. Very disappointing.

A double-shot and a triple-shot: $13.90. And they wouldn't back down from that. I know it takes real money to run a business like this, but I am unwilling to patronize this business again.

The staff is really nice and down fo Earth. The coffee is excellent! I highly recommend Caffè Fiorè.

The staff is RUDE. I dared to ask a question about something on the menu and the barista couldn't have been more annoyed. Coffee here is great, but you can also get great coffee at the other local coffee shops in QA without being treated poorly by the baristas. Skip this place and head to one of the many others nearby (Top Pot, Moonrise, Macrina, Cafe Hagen, heck- even Starbucks).

I've been coming to this exact shop since 2006 when I was in college. Used to love it, have written papers there and the place has nostalgia. Came yesterday with friends from out of town who were excited to try coffee in Seattle. There wasn't a single person in line. The barista, who had long blonde hair, was incredibly inhospitable. He VISIBLY rolled his eyes when my friend asked for a French vanilla cappuccino. "Um we don't have FRENCH vanilla...we have vanilla." In the rudest tone. I don't know why I even tipped $2, probably because I have stolkhom syndrome from all the awful service in this city lately. Really memorable experience, not in a good way. I also see this isn't the first time in the comments someone has complained about the same barista. Management needs to get it together (watch, he is probably the manager). But after almost 20 years of patronizing this place, I'm done. And I bet I'm not the only one.

Oh yeah! Gotta love it when you find another great coffee shop in the neighborhood. That's what happened a while back when walking around the streets ... happened across Caffe Fiore in Queen Anne and had to come back to check 'em out. I enjoy the Ballard location and wanted to get some of the goods in QA now too. My son and I stopped here the other day on a walk and had a wee snack to get us through. I had a drip coffee for my beverage and loved every sip of it. They have some of the best beans in the city and I've never had a bad cup of coffee here. Smooth, full flavored, and roasted to perfection. Ahhh, craving a cup now as I right this! For our tasty yummy, we split a wee little Banana Walnut goody. I'm bad with sweet names, so I'm not sure what it was actually called; but it was kinda like a cake doughnut with a sweet icing on top. Whatever it was, it was GREAT! I only wish it was bigger ... the boy ate most of it. LOL! All in all, a wonderful coffee shop with great seating options and friendly staff. Highly recommend Caffe Fiore. Perfect coffee with a great selection of delicious treats to eat as well!

I basically moved to Seattle for coffee, seafood, and the outdoors. Fiore checks off on one of those boxes very well as I just so happened to move in right around the corner. I'm hooked. I've been buying beans, cold brews, and pastries since my arrival in this city. I highly recommend their brekkie sandwiches. They are solid. I'm a huge fan and working my way up to regular status.

I absolutely love this place. I come in almost every morning I know the customers and the staff all by names. We talk about hobbies and interests. But there is one day that I will not be going because of one of you employees up on Galer and 3rd. I think she works on Wednesdays only and her name is Christiana. Every time I go in I get this unwelcome service and a rude attitude. I'm sure she's not like this just to me. But people who work in the service industry I know it's hard but leave whatever you're going through at home! Don't be bringing it at 6am in the morning and pissing people off.

A very cute coffee shop which feels warm and inviting -- it's a beautiful wooden vibe and has precautions in place for COVID. It's a short walk from Kerry Park too! I got the blueberry hibiscus ice tea and it was really tart and refreshing. My friend got a chai tea and it was a kick of flavor and definitely spicier than expected but she still liked it! Overall, a cute spot that feels very homey and has all the basics.

What's with Seattle? Another coffee place with mediocre coffee and reheated, outsourced food.

This place is just at the nook of the kerry park street. Coffee taste very good but it was not too hot. Local coffee shop are always an experiment but this won't turn you down. Their roof ceiling seems to be off though. Hope it doesn't fall on someoney head while having coffee

I got a vanilla latte with oat milk. Personally, not a huge fan of the drink as the coffee taste a bit burnt and more acidic than I like. I like the atmosphere and interior design of the coffee shop. I'm not in the area often so probably won't purposely return to the shop.

Great local coffee shop, with amazing coffee, a cozy space, and super friendly baristas. I ordered their mocha with orange. They use a homemade chocolate syrup which is always a plus. It was delicious - I'd highly recommend!

Don't usually write reviews. Barista with mustache is super rude to my family and his co-worker. I hope his co-workers feel empowered to speak up and say something if this is a regular thing. Been a barista for over 10 years myself and I know how lame it can be to come to work in an environment like that. Life is hard enough in the service industry. Coffee is amazing though. Thank you for being open on Christmas Eve!

Caffe Fiore is my favorite coffee shop in Upper Queen Anne. It has a neighborhood feel to it, as it is part of an old house. The indoor and outdoor seating are plentiful even during times when it is busy. I love getting the Valencia since it's the most unique (other than seasonal items) drink on their menu. It's basically a mocha with orange zest. I don't typically like citrus + chocolate, but it's very well done taste-wise and in execution. The baristas here are masters, as you would expect. While really enjoying that drink, I typically get a decaf Americano since I'm boring. Even the Americano is worth the extra walk from the main strip of Upper Queen Anne. Although unless you're a regular or really love Americanos, I recommend trying the Valencia or a latte since the baristas really just are that excellent!

Most of the people here have their eyes fixed on their laptops and are obviously focused on work. The wood decor and lighting are amazing. It is dark inside, which is fine in winter, because it's dark(er) outside. I didn't realize that the owner also is the proprietor of the charmingly old fashioned, San Francisco-inspired Cafe Vita on the east side of Queen Anne hill, near the Seattle Center/QFC. The drawbacks are that the noise from the espresso machines is considerable and the very nice baristas talk over that din, adding more din. Obviously one needs to have ear-canceling headphones. It would be nice if you could a decent pot of tea (Darjeeling, etc.). The coffee drinks are heavily sweetened. The Sevilla is not always available as it requires orange rind ground when Cafe Fiore opens. The Adirondack chairs outside are uncomfortable. Pleasant neighborhood venue, half a mile away from the other coffeehouse/bakery/cafe (Macrina on West McGraw). A steady flow of people walking to and from the ice creamery, even in winter.

I'm happy to call this place, my neighborhood gem of a shop. Wood lined, with a feel of old/vintage seems to flow. It feels warm, inviting, even if it's really tiny. Yes, the place if sometimes packed with people on laptops, but it's also the meeting point for people who just want to chit-chat and talk. The inside has two large round tables that fit 6-8, a couple standing/stool areas, and outside a bunch of wood lounge chairs. Oh, the coffee is pretty good, their baked goods are pretty tasty also. I had the pumpkin bread the last time I was there, and it was delicious. So basically, it's a good coffee shop.

I am a cold brew fanatic and this one did not disappoint. This coffee shop is conveniently located near Kerry park. The ambiance makes it great for reading and relaxing. They also use sipper cups and offer paper straws. There were good food options like locally sourced sandwiches, bagels, and croissants.

I'm giving two stars only because the coffee is excellent but the staff is not friendly at all. I've been going here regularly for the three months I've lived in the neighborhood and there is never a smile, let alone a 'hi' or any kind of engagement from baristas. One of the baristas in particular just stares blankly at me whenever I come in like she is annoyed by my presence. I thought it was just me but I see several recent one-star reviews here all commenting on the staff's behavior. I love the convenience/closeness of the shop is great and I'm sure that's what keeps its doors open but it just isn't worth it to keep spending my money there for sub-par customer service. I've received much, much better service and engagement from baristas at random Starbucks stores and other coffee shops. I love to support local businesses and want to like this neighborhood cafe, but the staff should make an effort. I am also in a customer service oriented profession so my review is coming from both a personal and professional angle. The staff needs to do better.

The Iced Latte with Oatmilk on Fiore is one of the best Latte I've taste. The coffee shop looks like a nice place to work from there were quiet a few people with laptops out and the environment was quiet enough to focus. I only did a quick stop and so glad I did

This is my favorite coffee shop to work out of. It's usually quiet. Solid coffee, great location just around the corner from the main part of queen anne ave n. It seems like its mainly locals that hang at this spot.

Great study place... seems to attract a ton of college kids on the weekend. Yummy americano beautifully crafted. A fair amount of outlets as well. Was a little dark in the room for a more studious atmosphere I assume. I always see a ton of people lounging on the wooden chairs outside. A customer near me did have a dog and there is a bowl of dog treats which is adorable. Didn't have a ton of food choices... seemed like the typical coffee shop baked goods. It was also super quiet with background music which was perfect for me to get my research done.

There are 5-6 large tables so it's good for gathering with friends and chatting. Customer of all ages (5-70) came in and chatted on a weekday afternoon. It took me a while to decided there to stay because all tables were occupied and I don't like sharing table with others. The interior looks like it's been like that for 20 years...

Super yummy chai and a very sweet barista. Was in Seattle for the day and they gave some good recommendations. Super quite if you are looking for a study spot or hangout area!

Visited Seattle in May/June 2021- looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast and coffee on the go. They had plenty of coffee options and alternative milks (soy, coconut, almond, oat, you name it) and the staff we SO helpful to name plenty of vegan options they had for snacks and pastries/doughnuts! No wait, clean interior. Helpful staff.

4 words = Worst Matcha Latte Ever. I'm not sure if I came in at a bad time (passed by around 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday) or the barista just didn't care? My drink was absolutely awful. Not only was there no latte art but the matcha flavor was watered down. I tried adding milk to it and it didn't help. It ended up tasting more like milk but with matcha sprinkled in it. I hated the drink so much I ended up tossing it out. Avoid at all costs.

Great coffee and a good place to work. If you don't mind sharing a table with some fellow WFH individuals, then you should have no issues finding a place to work here. Love that the service was friendly and fast too!

I went here tonight for the first time, and the latte I got was super good, and the latte art was some of the best I've seen around the city. Unfortunately, though, my husband and I thought the barista was a total grump. We were at a table for a few hours in the shop and we observed him communicating with a few other customers and couldn't believe how unapproachable he was. Not sure why you'd be a barista if you dislike talking to people that much. When we left, we said, "thanks!" and he totally ignored us, which prompted me to write this. Too bad, because I'd give this place 5 stars if the service would have been as good as the drink.

Coffee is always marvelous! 8oz mocha (my usual) is on point, perfect blend of chocolate and coffee. Love the old building charm too.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon because the library two blocks away had closed and I still needed to finish up some work. I was surprised to find that this place was actually a lot quieter and nicer to work in than the library! Plenty of big tables, there were a handful of people but no one was talking, with nice instrumental music in the background. I got a scone to nibble on while I was there. It looked good, but it tasted like the dough in the middle wasn't quite fully baked yet. Mind you, I was here at around 5pm on a Sunday so I can imagine that this was sitting out all day.. I didn't try out any of the drinks so I can't comment on that. I would come here again if I need a quiet space to work or study, but maybe get a drink instead.

Last time I go here. If you want terrible service and consistent, lukewarm coffee, then this is your place...

They make a solid decaf americano. That's all I ask from a coffee shop-- roast your decaf beans with the same care as your caf beans! This cozy quiet place makes nice coffee and that is all.

First time checking out Caffe Fiore-- Went in early morning (6:30am on a Wednesday) and the barista was so kind! The golden lighting throughout the cafè created such a warm atmosphere. Ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich to go- the bacon egg and cheese sandwich was SO GOOD! And the Espresso was the best part! I was definitely impressed and anytime I am in the Queen Anne area I will definitely be stopping in!
