Love to come here to write. They have delicious options from hearty healthy salads to delicious desserts, and a great selection of beverages including the most robust tea selection I’ve seen in Coyoacan. I very much appreciate the gluten free options and they’ve all been delicious.

Every taste of each pastry & natural ingredients is excellent. The combination of flavors plus a great smiling service makes me return again & again to this delicious and healthy pastry.

At 8pm, this cafe is still buzzing with crowds drinking coffees & patisseries. The selection is limited by now but I managed to try some and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The conchas are soft inside, nice & crumbly outside. Looks like the IT bakery/pâtisserie in Coyoacan neighborhood. Btw, it’s located at the lush picturesque start of “Avocado Alley”

One of the best kept secrets in Coyoacan! They have a lots of options for teas, as well as bread. We tried the Fig Toast w ricotta cheese which was pretty nice. They also have this lovely Lavender Cake which matches with Matcha Latte perfectly!! Its pet friendly and people are really friendly. Service can be improve, unfortunately, they only had one chef due to the contingency but other than that, it was 👌 Wheelchair accesible

Small, cozy spot in the heart of Coyoacan. Bakery is quite good, with croissants, cakes, pudding and some other specialties. Eggs are good but you need to really look for bakery goods. Tea is good but could use a little bit more attention in terms of brew times. This is a dog friendly place which gets a bit crowded in the mornings. Definetely worth the visit.

Google
Small and cosy spot located in the heart of Coyoacan, this coffee place propose breakfast options as well as a variety of pastries. I can't speak for cakes/pastries that were overall disappointing according to the past reviews as well as the quality service/food over time. However, the breakfast there was above the average. The croque madame was tasty, the topped egg was runny and somehow makes it up for the lack of bechamel. The toasted bread added the extra crunch to the dish. A bit of salsa would have been a nice twist but no more salsas in stock. The Americano coffee was good, nothing to complain about. On the downside, the cake (with cloves I presume) was too dry and didn't seem fresh to me. The service staff was quick and efficient. However a smile has never hurt anyone. My take: Give it a try! On a sunny day, the terrasse is nice plus for this spot.

Loved this place! Came by recommendation & considering going back. I sat outside & the street musicians are a plus, just icing on the cake. I got a matcha latte, matcha croissant (so much matcha!) & the kuku sabzi. As an Iranian, I was so excited to see that & the Isfahan Croissant on the menu!!! The food was nice, the staff were friendly & the vibes were good. I enjoyed what I got, but looking forward to trying new items at this place! P.S. The cheese on top of the Kuku sabzi is still on my mind!

Google
+ good food + Nice ingredients + Organic, vegan and gluten free options - small and crowded - quite expensive - menu just in Spanish - bathroom small and clean, but always crowded Well is a very famous place , always crowded but another sucursal is near in the Ave. Miguel Angel de Quevedo. Anyway this organic bakery is a interesting place , high quality ingredients and good flavor , but a little expensive , a sandwich is around $150 pesos or more. The drinks are normal but again a little bit expensive. Don't get me wrong the cakes and sweet bread are specially amazing but to be honest the reputation of the place is more popularity than real flavor. Conclusion: nice place to impress hippie organic date -_-

Yelp
Overall a very enjoyable experience, matcha cake was AMAZING, matcha drink was not so exciting. Service and ambiance were top tier. If you are looking for a nice dessert, this is the place to go!!!

Yelp
Arguably one of the best bakeries in Coyoacán and that's saying a lot considering the breadth (no pun intended) of panderias there. I was a regular here and sampled many of their menu items -- all of which are tasty. Their large variety of fresh drinks such as rose water and ginger beer, in addition to the usual suspects of coffee and tea, are all quite good. The location, while tucked away, is still in an east accessible and beautiful area, perfect for stopping by as you stroll by the many parks and scenic locations in this gorgeous area of CDMX

Yelp
Cozy place in beautiful Coyoacán. Small, cozy and charming. Outdoor sitting to enjoy the elements and the beautiful surroundings. Or indoor for a more intimate atmosphere. The menu features organic, local ingredients. La Ruta de la Seda supports small local farmers and it is committed to fair trade. My family and I enjoyed drinks such as lassi, rose water and a magnificent hot chocolate. As well and the Cuban sandwich, the jamón serrano sándwich with red wine bread, spanakopita, fig salad and satoush salad. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star review it's because we would have lived to accompany our meal with a nice glass of wine.

Yelp
It is so rare to find vegetarian, and healthy food around here! This place has everything you want. The Americano coffee wasn't that good, but the espresso was great. You can eat inside, in front of the park

Yelp
Cozy little place in Coyoacán with the Best Bakery in CDMX! Yes you can compare it with @panaderiarosetta any day! Besides this place has a much better ambience come & enjoy their tasty treats & coffee

Fabiana D.

Yelp
Best coffee place in Coyoacan, its amazing how good the pastries are. They have a huge variety of sweets and great coffee!

Devyn R.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast. The pastries and coffee are excellent. We shared two omelets - one with kimchi and another called kuku sabzi with herbs (dill, cilantro, and some others) and walnuts. The kimchi one was excellent while kuku sabzi was pretty overlooked. That said, this place is cute and definitely worth a visit for the conchas.

Yelp
We went back for an 8 am breakfast. This is one of only a few places I could find open at that hour, so bonus points for that. The issue was that the food just tasted pretty average. My friend's huevos mexicanos tasted bland. My Tokio Rollo was just alright. Our server was friendly and attentive though

Yelp
I came across Café Ruta de la Seda during a photo shoot--my husband and I were tired and hot (surprisingly for this this season) and found this cute place on a corner by a small park. We sat on the outside seats, à la Parisienne, and ordered a coffee and a ginger beer. Some of the pastries inside looked great, as did the matcha lattes in the photos. The coffee was apparently good but my ginger beer was undrinkable! Flat sparkling water, not sweet, full of fibrous ginger zest. I might come back to try out the matcha latte if in the area as there are few nice coffee shops around.

Yelp
Excellent croissant and enjoyed the concha de Jamaica. The service was nice and looks a clean place. I liked they let my dog stay with me. Quite expensive for the area and the place, but looks international area. Definitely I will comeback with my family

Andres A.

Yelp
Good healthy food in a great location. Loved their macha cake and their pastries. Be ready to wait standing up but it is worth it. A favorite of the locals.

Bernardo R.

Yelp
The place is good, but the products are way to small and lack quality. I asked for a cold chocolate drink with milk, i received a small cup of chocolate water.

Ulises R.

Yelp
Very cute cafe, good coffee, delicious honey cafe and mil hojas cake. The big downside is the considerations they have for the non-smokers. If you want to seat at the terrace, you have to take the smoke for all the walking chimneys and the waiters won't d anything. Not even when the establishment is breaking the law because the smoking section should be totally isolated from the non-smoking section, should not be a passage way for the customers, and should not have children nearby. Time to review your policies Café Ruta de la Seda!

Yelp
My friend was robbed at gunpoint outside on a busy night- motorcycle was stolen, no one was hurt but their cameras had no footage, which was suspicious since the bike was parked right outside where guests often sit or wait for tables. I love the area, but there should be more caution by the owner.
