I should have checked the reviews before I stopped by this location. Absolutely horrible.
The young girl taking our order could hardly speak any English. And remember at this location extra meat means regular meat and regular meat means they barely put anything on. These folks were trained really well on keeping their costs down from corporate or they’re just clueless on how to make customers happy. Not friendly, poor customer service and skimpy portions.
If you’re going to continue raising prices (even though beans and rice cost very little), then you ought to raise your quality and level of service. Or is that a result of “inflation” too? You’re lucky you have brand recognition, this location would fail in a week otherwise.
I bought 8 meals for $115, seriously should have bought the ingredients myself and made a 10x better meal for everyone.
So sad, this use to be such a value and taste so much better back before they put profits over people.

Ordered a salad and had a coworker pick it up for me and it didn’t get any lettuce. Might as well have ordered a burrito. Tried to call the store to see if they could help get it correct and I sat on hold for 5 minutes and no one picked up. Very disappointed.

Employees using hand sanitizer instead of hand soap is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!
There is a reason soap differs from hand sanitizer and knowing my food was prepared without there being soap in the men’s restroom is disgusting!
I should report this to the health department!
This chain has gone so far down hill from the food quality and everything in between and it’s too bad.

Randolfo is an Awesome Manager! This Cafe Rio location is Fantastic! Always Open Early and everything has been prepared fresh. Clean Ready to Go! Randolfo has an energetic and cheerful personality and it’s something that you can see employees enjoy and so do us the customers. THANK YOU this is how a place should feel when you come out to eat.

We recently placed an online order for six people, which my mom picked up on our behalf. Unfortunately, the experience at the counter was incredibly frustrating.
When she arrived and informed the employee that she was there to pick up an order, he curtly replied that he didn’t have one and asked her to step aside. Despite her explaining that the order had been paid for, he repeatedly dismissed her concerns, suggesting she was at the wrong location without offering any real assistance. It wasn’t until she provided proof of the email confirmation that he begrudgingly acknowledged the order, claiming it was a catering order (something we weren’t informed of beforehand). When she asked how she was supposed to know that, he dismissively said, “You should know what you ordered.”
Thankfully, the rest of the team stepped up and were kind, accommodating, and apologetic for his behavior, which we really appreciated. The food itself was great—well-packaged and tasty—though they did forget our tortillas.
While we understand everyone can have a bad day, his attitude was completely unprofessional and dismissive. We weren’t able to get his name since he wasn’t wearing a nametag, but I hope this feedback can help address the situation. Catering order was for pick up at 4:40pm on 12/21/24

Horrible customer service from this Cafe rio + Door dash. Upon placing the order we immediately realized the address was incorrect and went to change it. Not even one minute passed and the app was already saying we will be getting $0 refunded. The driver said the restaurant canceled the order. This was a lie. The order was never delivered to the correct address. It was still delivered by the driver to the wrong address after the driver confirmed it was canceled by the restaurant and after the driver saw it was the wrong address. We ended up paying $50 for no reason. I will never order from DoorDash or this cafe rio again.

Probably don't order online at least at this location. Placed an order got here in 10 mins and have been sitting here another 15 minutes while my food has just been sitting out ignored probably cold by now not super thrilled that I should have just ordered through drive through everyone else gets served first here it doesn't matter when you order, if it is online it is last priority.

Food is very inconsistent. Each time I come here the tostada is not made the same. Lack of lettuce, out of chip strips etc. Depending on who makes the item, seems like you get something different from the time before. Employees don’t seem to interested in giving friendly service.
