This lively South Austin spot offers nightly live music, a vibrant upstairs bar, and a fun Sunday chicken bingo, perfect for kicking off your weekend.
"This funky South Austin venue is the perfect place to start or end your night with live classic soul and R&B music every day of the week. Currently, the Weird Food halal trailer is parked outside, dishing up Mediterranean dishes, like falafel and gyros. There are indoor and outdoor areas." - Darcie Duttweiler
"Most of the time that we’re heading to C-Boys on South Congress, we’re there for a Sunday afternoon game of chicken sh*t bingo, or some Friday night blues and funk. During SXSW it’s home to the “SoCo Stomp,” featuring 50 bands over five days on two stages. Entry is free, and there will be a few food trucks on-site. The event runs from about 1-7pm each night—after that, the music switches back to the usual schedule of more lowkey blues, funk, and jazz. When: March 13-17 " - nicolai mccrary
