Butterhorn

Bartender Nathan was very welcoming, incredibly friendly, and professional. I had an NA cocktail (Rose Red Slippers), a butterhorn, a cup of the bisque, and the jalapeño arancini. Everything was delicious and served at a great temperature. I enjoyed my meal and would happily return.

Discovered this place when researching farm to table places in town. Was delighted by the atmosphere and customer service. The butterhorns were delicious. Fun cocktail menu and good wine selection too. The kale salad was good not too heavily dressed. The salmon was very crispy and the smashed potatoes too. Large servings! Would go again if a local or in town.

Food was great, service was terrible. First place we have experienced where we both did not feel welcome. Was a birthday dinner for my wife. From the moment we stepped into the door, with reservations it was very unwelcoming and waited even for additional water. The manager acted as if he was much better class than his staff and his customers. Place was highly recommended from a local and the food was excellent. Maybe an off night? Thanks to the nice buss boy who thanked us for coming and wished us a good night. He had class and should get a promotion.

Becca was our server. She was amazing at explaining the menu, and telling us a little about the restaurant as well. The food came out absolutely perfect. The dessert was very unique I loved it. We shared dessert there was definitely enough for two. I would definitely go back if we are in Bismarck again. Thank you Becca again for a great experience.

I’ve been absolutely delighted with every single dish I’ve tried since this restaurant opened. It never disappoints. The chef provides a menu that changes seasonally and everything is fresh and homemade. The butterhorns are a must try for newbies. They will literally melt in your mouth.

I regret to say that our experience at Butterhorn was disappointing. From the start, the service was not very guest-focused. Our server, seemed indifferent to our concerns when we weren’t satisfied with the drink special, yet no attempt was made to offer alternatives or involve a manager. This lack of attention was noticeable throughout the meal. We tried the butterhorns, which were indeed tasty, but unfortunately, that was the highlight. The rest of the dishes were overpriced and failed to deliver on flavor or quality. In fact, we didn’t even finish our meals, and the server didn’t seem to notice or care. Given the combination of poor service and disappointing food, we won’t be returning. There are definitely better dining options in Bismarck.

Absolutely delicious food! We also loved the vintage vibes with western family photos alongside the classic supper club mirrored wall and sconces. Highly recommend!

Pretentious setting with unique offerings. One of the finer dining experiences available in the area. I ordered one of the Eggs Benedict options, and my test for the quality of a poached egg is the whites not being runny, you might not have the same expectation. As for flavors the breakfast was unimpressive but not bad. Where they shine, is in the name. Their butterhorn is what it’s all about, I’ll attempt another visit and try the corned beef hash next time, the atmosphere and options make this restaurant worth visiting, you may fall in love, and as for their butterhorn it won’t leave you disappointed.
