Butter Baker Market

We love the soft serve!!! We previously had the strawberry soft serve, and this time we had the lemon meringue sorbet. Both were amazing! The lemon sorbet was very good, but the addition of marshmallow in the soft serve gave it a bit of an odd texture. Overall, very yummy and will return for future flavours of the month!

Love their “flavours of the month”! For September, they were doing orange creamsicle, which was just orange citrus soft serve mixed with vanilla. The atmosphere was super cozy with fall decorations and merchandise like candles and utensil holders. Staff were super accommodating even when I asked a bunch of questions.

I’ve tried 3 cookies, 2 croissants, and two cakes. Everything here is delicious. Highly recommend their butterscotch cookie and ham and cheese croissant. Their coffee is also great; the butter baker late is deliciously sweet and tastes a bit almondy. This is a stellar choice for any special occasion cake. I’ll be back for their raspberry pistachio cake sometime. This location also features a cute storefront of kitchen tools, clothes, snacks, tea, and more.

Over the years, I’ve come to Butter Baker every now and again. Their cakes are pretty tasty as are their croissants. Prices are moderate for a bakery of that level. And their monthly special soft serve ice cream is fantastic. It changes every month so check on Instagram to check what flavour it is.

My family got the soft serve in a cone as a treat. It was honestly very delicious. I don’t know if it was a bad batch, but our cones were so thin that the icecream was leaking out of the cone in multiple spots, which made the eating experience messy and hurried. It would be worse if it were a hot day. Picture was taken before the descent into a soggy mess. Atmosphere I rated as 4/5 as the place is nicely decorated. There is only one bench to sit inside. There are 2 picnic tables to sit outside.

This bakery has a good selection of pastries and sweet treats, and they were very tasty. The store is kept very neat and organized. The staff are very friendly and very professional. Their coffee is also very good and excellent pairing with their baked goods!

The ice cream tastes light and delicious. Their cakes are frosted with buttercream which is smart because it is stable for take away and worry free from long journeys home. It is creamy & still light and it tastes fresh with fruit ingredients (raspberry & pistachio).

Super cute small little cafe, but in such a hidden location! It’s a tad expensive but very tasty. There isn’t much seating inside, 2 small benches. There aren’t signs up for the soft serve, but they have a new flavour every month!
