Bunker is a vibrant Vietnamese eatery in Bushwick where delicious banh mi and noodley delights meet an eclectic, casual atmosphere.
"Delicious Vietnamese food hidden in a mega-industrial area of Ridgewood. Not the easiest place to get to but that's part of the fun and the food is definitely worth the bike ride. Everything is great but get the vietnamese pancake and the short rib." - Young Jerks
"Bunker’s location truly lives up to its name - it’s really the only haven in the middle of the East Williamsburg’s warehouse desert. The big industrial room is covered in paper lanterns, mismatched outdoor furniture, and multicolored flags. Between the space and the fact that a meal here will probably cost you around $35 with a drink, Bunker works as the perfect casual date or group dinner spot. Especially before going to a show at Elsewhere or The Knockdown Center." - hannah albertine, nikko duren, bryan kim
"Saigon Bánh Mì October 13th “By the time I was wrapping up my search for the city’s best bánh mì, I thought I’d seen just about every variation of pork-between-bread out there. And then I went to Bunker in Bushwick, where I learned the dial on porkiness can be turned up to 10, and then broken off the wall altogether. Between Vietnamese pork loaf, roast pork, sausage, grilled bacon, and pâté, the sandwich has an incredible amount of concentrated pork flavor that coats your mouth before the mass of fresh herbs swoops in to get you ready for another next bite.” -Matt Tervooren, Staff Writer" - hannah albertine, nikko duren, hillary reinsberg, arden shore, matt tervooren
"Vietnamese dishes available for delivery and takeout - order here" - hannah albertine, nikko duren, bryan kim, arden shore, matt tervooren
"Bunker, a modern Vietnamese spot, abruptly announced its closing on July 8 at its Brooklyn space on 99 Scott Avenue." - Caroline Shin
