Ran into this place while looking for a different donut place that was closed. We were visiting LA and going off of Google maps looking for donuts. I'm glad that we saw it. Very classic old school donut shop. Donuts were delicious! Apple fritter, old fashioned, buttermilk, cake type donuts, all were great. The coffee was good too. Pricing was cheap, service fast and friendly. I'd go back repeatedly.

Definitely worth grabbing a quick bite on the go or pick up lunch.. great selection of bagels with cream cheese.. breakfast sandwiches or sandwiches and grill cheese.

Me and my friend always show up on Sundays for donuts and ice coffee and they're always delicious 😁👌 but the #23 sandwich i got yesterday was absolutely delicious 👌😁😋

No complaint with food. My poor rating is for poor service of failing to mention nor post sign for high fee associated with using a debit card. Practically doubled the price of my purchase.

Nice people run the place, and they make great breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts. Always nice to our kids, and it looks like some big lotto winners bought their tickets here.

I'm new to the montebello area but I'm glad I'm close by to this spot! Reasonable prices, no complaints on their pastries and I personally like their sandwiches but check them out! It's been pretty hot this summer/fall, sometimes their AC isn't on fully and it might be a bit hot but don't let that discourage you. Their ice cream and ice coffee and drinks are definitely cold and doughnuts are definitely fresh.

I can thank Siri for this one. I was in the mood for a donut and asked Siri for "Donuts near me." The number one choice was Bumblebee Donuts with 4.5 stars. Siri asked me if that was where I wanted to go and I said yes. Glad I did. First of all. It's right off the 60 so that made it super easy to find. It's in a grocery story type shopping center with plenty of parking. There's no "Bumblebee Donuts" sign. Just the word "Donuts" on the building. I guess there no need for the full name if you're the only donut shop in the lot. I was there on a Sunday morning and it was really busy. All the tables were full of people enjoying their tasty donuts and a steady stream of people was coming in to buy some to take home. When I go to a new donut place, my touchstone donuts are the apple fritter and the glazed twist. The apple fritters are small, about the size of a donut, but I'm glad. Makes me feel a bit better about all the calories and sugar, so I think that should be the new standard size for apple fritters. It was a good fritter. No oily taste. The glazed donut was pretty good too. No oily taste. The winner for me was the cake donut. I had a chocolate frosted with coconut cake donut. It was perfectly excellent. It was one of the best simple cake donuts I've ever had. Definitely don't leave there without getting a cake donut. They also have a wide selection of sandwiches and drinks. Oh yeah, be sure and check in on Yelp. When I was there and checked in there was a coupon for a free donut with a $3 purchase. Great deal! Bumblebee, you're A-OK with me!

Small place good variety of donuts...ice cream too...and a good sandwich menu. Good service made me a ham and cheese croissant on the spot cuz the ran out.

I decided to pick up a dozen glazed and cake donuts for a birthday party. I got the dozen donuts for $15 flat plus a free one with Yelp check-in. Since I came a bit late in the evening, there weren't as many options but still able to try a variety. The donuts are your classic donut shop donuts, but I do like that they have heart donuts year-round, which is useful to know. Note the shop is just labeled Donuts inside the plaza. Also, there is a 75cent charge with credit card.

We bought two dozen specialty donuts here yesterday for an event. We were giving out the donuts individually to our guests and asked for bags. They insisted on charging us one dollar per bag! We have been customers here for over a decade. This is the last time we will be coming to Bumblebee Donuts. My sisters come here for all the school birthday parties. Too bad, not anymore. They lost a customer over some bags.

The best breakfast croissants ham egg and cheese is a favorite ! Their natural juice orange ginger is my go to. Their donuts are one of the best in town I can assure you they use good quality ingredients . This establishment is very clean.

The #17 bagel had lots of hair inside the egg, disgusting. Who knows what type of hair was it. Disappointed. Be extra careful with your food. I hope their kitchen is in sanitary conditions as they sell a lot of donuts for small children.

This donut place is my favorite in all of Montebello. They have amazing sandwhiches, delicious donuts and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Everything is fresh and made to order. I particularly love their #12 sandwhich. The bread is so soft and they pile up all of the ingredients to make the perfeft sandwhich. I pair this up with a fresh green juice. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick lunch!

The donuts were just ok Service was horrible the woman at the counter was very rude !!! She got upset when I asked about the cream cheese filled croissants Never went back !!!!!

Ordered a boba milk tea for my son and he wanted donut holes. Both were yum! I also ordered a ham egg and cheese bagel. =BOMB! The cheese was stretchy, moist. The bagel was hot and all of it just hits the spot. Plus they are a lucky lotto retailer year after year.

Cute little mom & pop donut store! The prices are very reasonable and everything is super fresh. My bf and I love their ham & cheese + jalapeño croissants. It's so big that I can only finish half for breakfast. Another one of my faves is their donut holes, but they have lots of options to choose from. Service is always nice and they are open pretty late for a donut shop. Glad to have found this little gem near my house. I believe they have a small charge for using card. Skip your Starbucks run and come here instead :)

Another swim meet, another trip to a donut shop. This time, it was lovely Bumblebee Donuts, with a lovely lady behind the counter. I suppose I was half asleep still when I ordered my chocolate old fashioned and a chocolate bar and a dozen donut holes, because I don't remember what I paid for them. But probably not much more or less than any other donut shop in the world. Except maybe VooDoo... Anywho, the shop is located in a strip mall with a supermarket anchor tenant. And only a block away from the high school that was hosting the swim meet on a dumb-early weekend morning, so I imagine this place might see a few folks. When I visited, it was just a couple of regulars getting their sugar fix for the day. Looks like this place does a bit of work in the sandwich and smoothie departments, too. Clean and brightly lit inside-- this is not that dingy-looking donut shop with the rack of cigarette packs on the wall. No, clean and modern inside. I'll definitely return in the future if we get called back to Schurr HS in the pre-dawn hours of a weekend day for my kid to swim for speed. Ugh.

I love their delicious donuts and Thai tea drink. I recommend to go here. The people here are kind and fast.

Came here for dessert on a Saturday evening and was helped out right away. I ordered a Milk Tea with boba. With zero convincing, I also ordered a sugar twist donut because they all looked so good. Altogether I payed about $5, which is great considering some boba drinks at other places can reach up to $8 for a medium. This was a large cup of boba and you can taste the quality in the tea from the leaves they use. The boba was also chewy and cooked perfectly (I worked in a boba shop for a year and know when boba is undercooked or has been sitting for too long). This drink is delicious!

06/28/2020 Came here because my niece raves about this place. I ordered the #9 Pastrami Croissant. I wasn't disappointed this sandwich is fabulous. The croissant was slightly toasted warm all the flavors were spot on from the lettuce, pickles, red onions, mayonnaise and mustard. Lots of pastrami my first bite oh my gawd awesome you can't go wrong with getting this. Nice job eats_with_ 07/12/2020 My wife didn't want me to cook breakfast said it was too hot. Ask her what she wants McDonald's no, Burger King no. Told her about this place I came to last month called Bumblebee Donuts they have very tasty sandwiches yep ordered 3 #9 Pastrami croissants One regular for me and 2 without mayonnaise and mustard. They were a hit even after 40 minutes croissant was still crispy and flaky my family said how delicious the sandwich was. Lots of pastrami the lettuce tomato red onions and pickle made the sandwich, said it was too spicy they took out the jalapeños. Tip: check in on yelp and get a free donut with min $3 purchase.

Purchased 5 dozen donuts on short notice, and they were beyond kind. The donuts were among the best I've ever had and the teachers at the school loved them!

My favorite thing about Bumblebee Donuts has to be that I can order heart shaped donuts in November. My daughter loves bringing them to share with her class on her birthday! They are open early and it is so easy to place the special order!

One of my colleagues brings these to the office for treats. We love her! I think these are the best donuts I've ever eaten. The glazed donuts are things of beauty. I hear there are croissants too.

Fresh and delicious donuts. Crescent sandwiches are satisfying and perfect to pick up for Hollywood Bowl and concerts in the park. And they're a lucky Lottery retailer! They have everything you need for your picnic, coffee, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages. Couldn't be any more convenient.

You might think a donut place, well if you're thinking that, don't! This donut place is GREAT! They make great breakfast sandwiches and the donuts are fresh.

I can't believe I've never reviewed them, they're so close to my house and a favorite local business! Their croissant sandwiches are amazing, my favorite is the roast beef, but the pastrami is also divine. Warm, flaky, with fantastic flavor. All their donuts are yummy, but my favorites are the cinnamon twists and apple fritters! The staff are nice and the place is always clean, bright and has plenty of selection. Though do try to go earlier in the day for the best variety. Always a winner if I'm up early and want both a savory meal and sweet treat!

They are amazing to be open during this pandemic. It is a small donut shop but they still had plenty of variety. They have croissants, bear claws, filled donuts, donuts with different flavored frosting(chocolate, vanilla, maple) and cake donuts. The owner was very patient while I indecisively picked two dozen donuts. They do have a credit card fee, which she told me before she swipes my card. She also gave me a few donut holes for free! Plenty of parking.

Not all donut shops are the same and Bumblebee substantiates that. I thought I would do some brown nosing and pick up some donuts before the good ole 9-5. I walked in and was IMMEDIATELY greeted with a warm friendly face. I didn't catch her name but she was so nice. I told her I wanted to get a half a dozen she said "No problem!" She asked me what kind of donuts I wanted I said just give me a mix, she so nicely did, and picked a great mix at that! I noticed whilst checking in there was a "Check in offer" so I thought maybe 5% off or whatever the bare minimum that some business graciously offer, BUT NO they give you a donut with any purchase! That's crazy... CRAZY! So you're telling me you can buy a coffee and get a FREE donut?!? Nuts I tell you. But the mind boggling didn't stop there. Once I took one bit into fluffy mini cakes it was love. Their donuts were exceptional, so fresh, perfectly sweet and perfect for the morning warrior trying to score some brownie points at work.

Love this small business. The woman that helped us was so nice and helpful! Got their cinnamon roll and apple fritter which were great! We also go their turkey sandwich that was very generous! They have a lot sandwich options plus ice cream as well! They basically have everything if you're looking for something quick! Will be coming back regularly!

Delicious croissant sandwiches with your pick of protein along with egg and cheese. I picked up a tray of ham, egg & cheese and sausage, egg & cheese sandwiches. The price varies a bit based on what proteins you get as well. Nothing starts a morning right than a warm, flaky, buttery croissant with softly scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and sausage. I appreciated that the sausages were more like sliced kielbasa, that the ham were thickly sliced, and that the scrambled eggs were not overcooked (because a lot of diners surprisingly end up overcooking and browning scrambled eggs). You can phone ahead if ordering a large order, which I recommend because it expedites the pick-up. There are also plenty of other things to try here-- donuts, fresh juice, boba, smoothies, and other beverages!

Great little donut shop. They sell sandwiches, their turkey sandwich is my go to, highly recommend. They also sell ice cream, juices, boba and smoothies.

I ran in and out to get a dozen of doughnuts for my son's swim team. I was surprised to see the receipt being over $20 which is pricey in comparison to one of the most popular doughnuts shops in San Diego.

Did a quick stop at this donut shop for a small bite and this lil donut shop has a lot to offer , they have Ice Cream, Smoothies, Boba , Breakfast and lunch sandwiches, healthy juices etc would definitely stop by again every time I come to Montebello :)

Came here to get a dozen donuts for my office and got myself a jalapeños ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was cheesy and warm. Probably the best I've had. Donuts were delicious! Texture of donuts were perfect.. not too doughy or airy... just perfect. Would definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

I ordered hot and cold sandwiches and heart shaped donuts for my bridal shower and every one loved them! Bread is soft, meat was good, egg was good, and instructions were followed (Mayo onions and dressing on the side). Will definitely order for my next event/party! They were also very nice and helpful when placing my order.

Beware if paying with a credit card, I was charged $0.75 and only upon asking was told service for credit card use. I asked where the sign was posted, the girl said there's no sign! Poor selection of donuts, only 2 shelves of non glazed or chocolate. Hardly any flavored donuts, I would recommend going elsewhere where they dont have hidden fees and better donuts.

This place is your typical mom n pop donut shop in a small strip mall. The lady was nice enough to give me complimentary donut holes for each donut I bought. She was also accommodating and gave me recommendations on which donuts to buy. I'd come back here again in the future! When I was there, I did not see that many filled donuts there so I picked up a lot of glazed donuts instead. Highly underrated shop imho.

It's has been 7 years since I made a review of this place and I have been back numerous times. Their donut quality is still one of the best. I really like their seasonal donuts, such as the St. Patrick's Day ones which I saw yesterday. As with most donut shops, this is a family run one and I will always support small businesses over those chain donut shops that have stale donuts.

we went for a quick breakfast we were starving, asked for ham and cheese, it was disgusting. It was microwaved and they put quesadilla cheese. the bread smells like yeDO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

It can be tough to find bagels on this side of town, so we checked this place and they have bagel sandwiches yay! It's the typical donut shop you see all over LA with croissant and bagel sandwiches and boba drinks. The milk tea was pretty sweet, but not undrinkable, and the boba were a decent consistency. I had a strawberry croissant, it was fine. BF had a roast beef on a bagel sandwich, it was a good deal, lots of veggies and good amount of meat. Anyway, this place is clean and new, pretty good variety and affordable. We'll definitely be back! (Next to Smart & Final)

The donuts look tasty, the prices are fair. Open early! Great for early birds. I got the bagel sandwich, and it satisfied my breakfast needs. Cheerful service. Lotto, scratchers, and ice cream as well.

These are definitely the best donuts in our city! And honestly whenever I go to meetings, family functions, or other events, I always take these donuts and everyone goes crazy for them! My church always orders them as well for our fundraisers and the owners are so sweet and always have them nice and fresh for us!

I have been coming here for a long time now and I love it. They offer lots of food and really fluffy donuts. My favorite is their cinnamon sugar glazed donuts (mainly twist).

Best family owned business shop I've been to! Definitely our go to! They are extremely friendly and make you feel like part of their family. Every sandwich I've gotten taste great! (Tuna and pastrami are my fave) Donuts are fresh and delightful as well. We found this gem when we were looking for a place to fill up our 5 gallons water jugs. They even offer alkaline water for $1 per gallon (what a steal). My fiancé gets the freshly squeezed juices and WOW! Better than Jamba Juice for sure! Fresh produce and family hospitality you just don't get anymore, you'll find it here! Definitely worth the drive if you're not from around Azusa!

I like this place! I got 10 glazed doughnut holes and one medium coffee. The outside sign just has a huge DONUT sign and a small bumblebee next to it. The inside is clean and colorful. Has ice cream with boba toppings, drinks with boba, nice cheap sandwiches. Will come back again later for the sandwiches. Also next to smart and final which is convientent for grocery shopping.

My go to place for donuts. Fast courteous service. Good prices too! Nothing really fancy, just good old fashioned donuts. Great sandwiches too.

Donuts cost you $12.00 per dozen!!!! SUCKS!!! Go to San Gabriel donuts where you still pay $7.00 and they are way better!!!
