Bugaloe

What a great, casual spot on the ocean! We stopped by Bugaloe for a couple of drinks and a light lunch, and this was the perfect spot. Plenty of frozen drinks to go around, and they offer a good variety of food options. Recommend the açaí bowl if you are looking for something light and refreshing. Also one of the only places you can eat over the water in Aruba. Great spot!

The food and table service was superb! We had fish tacos and delicious Pińa Colladas during Tuesday Happy Hour and Mojitos on our second visit Friday. Outstanding views! Wonderful happy hour with the talented Violet, and exceptional bands afterward. And best of all, bartender Fer makes you feel welcome and like you’ve known him your whole life! He makes excellent drinks with a flourish that is a joy to watch! A high quality must stop that you don’t want to miss! I wish we lived here and could come back often! Everything was great! They literally carted out a whole table to seat our large group, the service was very friendly and helpful, the food (and sauces. Try the hot sauce if you like it real hot) was awesome and the location/atmosphere is great. Some of the drinks are a little too...touristy...but the Cadillac margarita is excellent!

Was here for dinner on a Friday night. Did not realize live entertainment would drown out conversation. The woman had a nice voice but the volume was so high my ear were ringing by the time we left. The food is what you would expect bar food that is in an open air on the water establishment. The waitstaff seemed annoyed we had a large group and I understand it’s busy but every other restaurant was able to split the check this place could not. If I had to come back I would only get a drink at the bar, wasn’t worth the hassle it presented.

We went for lunch here, food and server were great that we decided to go back second day. When we got there it was a bit busy, but we found a table for four. It hasn't been cleaned up yet and had two half glasses of water from the previous patrons. We waited for a while for a server to come. We didn't mind since it was busy and the server we had the day before was great. Then one of the servers came, her name was JENNY. We said hi, and nicely mentioned that the glasses with water were not ours. JENNYs response in a stern and non smiling face.... " I KNOW" Then we proceeded to order, frist drinks. My wife asked for the same meal we ordered before, but stopped us and said (again in a rude manner) "can you guys order drinks first?" Okkkk. She could've taken the order, and later on maybe ask what we wanted to drink. THEN SHE LEFT WITHOUT TAKING THE USED GLASSES from the previous patrons that sat on our table. Our food came after waiting a while. The whole time she NEVER came once, to check if we needed anything else or how things were going. Meanwhile, she checked on the two other tables beside us at least 4 or 5 times each, with all smiles asking how they were doing. We finished our meals, then waited for a long time again. We had to flag her down to ask for our bill. Again, waited a long time to get it. We paid cash, asked for change as it was a large denomination. Again, waited for a long time. Then another server came and dropped the change, almost just threw them on the table without saying anything. That server was also quite rude, we didn't get her name, she was black, with braids. Overall the food was great, server the day before was great, very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the second visit wasn't as great as server for a reason we don't know chose to be very unpleasant to us. It's not fair for the other folks that work there and get a bad rap because of the other unpleasant servers. I would come back here but would hope we don't get JENNY again.

We got here in time for a small down pour, waited a little bit and sun came back out. Food was really good, chicken skewers with peanut sauce and fish tacos were great. Pleasant staff and great atmosphere... been here 5 times always great

We had breakfast here and it was great! The food was delicious, service was awesome and the views were even better. It was only 24 dollars for the 2 of us to have breakfast and we had quite a bit of food. I had the Aruban breakfast and it was 10/10. Would highly recommend this place!

Just drank here, but was so much fun. Bartenders were fun and engaging. Beautiful sunset and great live music 🎵
