Even though it is overpriced, I love the vegetable section, as they are of great quality. The biggest downside for me is that they sell out-of-date deli products, so make sure to check the expiry dates when you buy. On many occassions I wanted to buy little things like biscuits, jam, etc. and they all expired. I showed them to the sales person and they said they will check the products, but I don't know if they did. The meat seems to be fine, but overpriced for the quality & quantity they offer. They also sell excellent smoked salmon.

Great butcher. Meat quality is outstanding and there's also a very nice selection of fresh groceries. Everything is on the pricey side though. Editing my review: 4 stars only now given the excessive price on the Deli side. £6.75 for a lemonade is just too much. Come on nothing justifies that. Editing my review to 2 stars given today's experience. Being expensive is one thing, not being commercial is not acceptable. You made a mistake on your label and not sticking to it is not acceptable. I won't come back as often. You played it cheap, you will lose therefore hundreds of potential sales in the future.

Not the biggest place but the staff are proper helpful and the meat and veg is incredible. Lots of quality select condiments and spices on the shelves too but they are certainly on the pricier side. If only they were open later!!

This is the most lovely neighbourhood butcher and market. They carry hugh quality products of all sorts and natural their meats are the star. The staff are warm, friendly, and so helpful. They make you feel like part of the family! It is a wonderful spot.

I pre-ordered a large chicken to eat on Boxing Day (picked up on 21/12 with use by date 27/12). We ended up going out of town on Boxing Day so I put it in the freezer that morning and yesterday (3/1) took it out to de-frost overnight and eat today (4/1) The chicken smells high. The reason why it is 4-5 years since I last pre-ordered Xmas chicken from Brooks is because when I took it out of the fridge to cook on Xmas day, guess what - it smelled high. This is our local, high end butcher, not cheap - what on earth is going on?

The quality of the meat in this butcher is outstanding, along with all the other produce on offer. The only reason not to give 5 stars is because I think it is a touch on the expensive side. But in fairness you do have to pay for quality.
