Britania Art Deco Boutique Hotel, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

3 night stay over new year . Lovely welcome , very friendly staff. Everyone was always really smiley and welcoming. Huge bedroom (we only booked a standard room). and good sized bathroom., |Really good shower, ||Room overlooking the main street but not noisy. |Really lovely touches in the room like a few chosen novels to read in English , a charging mat by the bed and an adaptor cube for English plugs. ||Great breakfast , small seating area but plenty to eat. ||A very special mention to the lovely waitresses at breakfast who made my birthday really special on New Year’s Day serving us warm Portuguese tarts and a glass of bubbly.,||Would highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely fabulous hotel just off the main shopping street. Quiet and safe. We stopped in a Junior Suite which was very comfortable. Nice bar, great breakfast but really it was the staff who made our holiday so memorable. They not only got the big details right but the small ones as well. We can't think that we have stopped at a better hotel - would highly recommend.

This art deco gem, of the latter third of the art deco period, is an absolute gem. The service and atmosphere are of a bygone age. The furniture and interior design are original and absolutely everything works as it should. We loved it. Spacious rooms, exemplary friendly service, comfortable bed, delicious breakfasts with a generous buffet. We left on my wife’s birthday (I hadn’t told the staff but reception had obviously noted it off her passport) and at breakfast they gave us champagne and a pastel de nata with a candle and sang happy birthday. So yes, a wonderful overall experience and good value for the extremely high standard of the product. Very highly recommended. Our heartfelt thanks to the Britania team.

This hotel is a gem. Wonderful location and great service. We stayed on the 6th floor and it was quiet and clean. The bed, linens and shower were very nice. We loved how charming it was and its history. The staff bent over backwards to help us. Some reviews have stated it is dated- we found that added to the charm. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Everything very good!! We stayed 4 days, room is big and clean, breakfast is very good! if walk about 15 mins in central area but we called bolt just £3.2 and if go Belem tower just £8 and the food is exceptional in Lisbon!! I think I will come back again!!

Wow! Such an amazing find in Lisboa. This hotel was top notch in every way. The history, décor, period furniture, old photos – I could have spent a whole day just touring the hotel itself! Our room was super spacious, comfortable, extra clean, and quiet. The location is excellent, with the metro just a quick and easy 3-min walk away. As people keep mentioning, the staff is exceptional – professional and attentive yet friendly. Breakfast was super tasty, and the breakfast room and table setting made us feel like royalty. Can’t say enough about this Lisboa gem and can’t wait to return to one of our favorite cities. Special shoutout to Larissa, who was extra kind regarding our reservation. See you next time!

Comfy and large room, attentive staff, located just one block from the Liberty Avenue. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with arts decorations and British style afternoon tea, included in you booking. Will definitely stay again when we return to Lisboa

A wonderful team of staff who made the stay exceptional through their attention to detail, being on hand to help and going the extra mile to make you feel special.
