Pretty spacious place with a nice ambiance. The menu was great! The eggplant fries were beautifully presented with an amazingly crispy crust, but the eggplant itself was a bit bland, a touch of seasoning would make it so much better. The rigatoni was incredible, super flavorful and absolutely delicious. The salmon was also a highlight, and the orange flavored sauce was delightful.

The atmosphere was awesome, it’s causal dining. Rakel’s service was superb, she made us feel welcomed! We love her recommendations on dishes. We ordered Bread & Butter, Smashed cucumber and the beef strip steak. We were impressed with all dishes. Bread&butter : the sourdough slices were grilled perfectly, even the crust was crispy. We even ordered extra sourdough to finish the butter. Smashed cucumbers: it was refreshing, a perfect balance of the bread and butter. Beef strip steak: the hash was delicious with all the sauce but for the steak, I found it a little bit salty to me. But my partner loved it! We ordered medium rare but we feel like it’s more like a medium but we are okay with it because the sauce and hash made it up. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner there and we will definitely come back again.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend on a weekend. We had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic! We got the Burrata Cheese, Wood Grilled Beef T-Bone, Italian Pork Sausage pasta, and Rigatoni pasta. They were all home-runs for us! Super flavorful and delicious! The service was excellent. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Our server took care of us very well. The staff even wrote us a card because we were there for a celebration. The ambience was relaxed and the environment was clean and well-kept. Will definitely add this place to our list of favorites!

We had an awesome anniversary celebration here! The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. We also appreciate the card that came with our reservation. 💌 The food was fantastic!!!! We ordered Eggplant Fries, Grilled Octopus Salad, Steak, Margherita Pizza, and Rigatoni. Everything was super tasty! 🍟🐙🥩🍕🍝 My personal favorite was the Octopus salad and my boyfriend’s was the Steak & rigatoni!! 🤤

Our only suggestion….when a table or bar is being held for a reservation place a time on the table and allows others to sit there u til the suggested time. Or at least allow the bar to be first come. We walked in for impromptu drinks our second visit and saw many tables empty for over 30 minutes. We would have gladly taken a table, had a drink, and left by the time the reservation showed up. Otherwise an amazing place. Get reservations for sure!

Was invited here for a group event. Food was great and the staff super friendly. The private room was slightly too loud due to outside noice for our purposes though. Also keep in mind the experience is family style (everyone shares what's ordered). Overall a wonderful experience.

What more can I say about this hot spot? The service was excellent. Emily , our server, was an incredible additive to our experience. She was extremely informative, patient and just had the best and most welcoming demeanour. My dinner & drinks companion had the Italian Pork Sausage pasta, which he quite enjoyed and their Paradise City coconut marg. I was going to have the lamb, but because of food allergies, opted for the Wood Grill Steak instead. I was not disappointed. Not only did they meet all requests but surpassed expectations. I also added a side of their Roasted Cauliflower done with Anchovies. Delicious. I wasn't super keen on their wine selection by glass, but that is fairly common. I chose a pre dinner martini and a glass of Cabernet for dinner. Both were just okay. Upon return, I would most definitely try their lamb and T-bone and their side of Wood Grilled Carrots and Brussels Sprouts. We were headed to a show or would have indulged more. All staff were fantastic from the bussing girl to the bartender & host. Again, Emily was exceptional. Well done, Calgary Design District!

As a newcomer to Calgary, I felt like I had to come to Bridgette Bar within my first few months of living here. So I went for late night drinks and appies with a couple of friends. First thing to note, reservations should be made way in advance, especially for dinnertime! I really liked the cocktails I tried; the balance of sweet and tangy and herbaceous in the Cruel Summer was fantastic. I also liked the combo of citrus and cinnamon in the Paradise City. The appies were also pretty good; the eggplant fries and the brussels sprouts with savory caramel were standouts. I wish the brussels sprouts had had a bit more crisp to them. The prices were about what I would expect as well. Unfortunately, the thing that impacted our experience the most was the service. Our server was extremely curt with us, and often dropped off our drinks without saying anything and would just walk away. We wondered if she was just having a bad day, but then we saw were chatting and being friendly with a different table. This definitely left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would hope for better from such a well-established restaurant. Exterior is underwhelming urban chic but interior vibes are urban cool with motorcycles and aviation-inspired fans. Service was great, possibly a little much earlier on but then MIA when we were looking for the check. I enjoyed everything but the fave at the table was easily the lamb sausage plate. Everything just worked very well together! Rigatoni was refreshingly delish and surprisingly light! This steak might've been a winner elsewhere but didn't stand up to the lamb or rigatoni. Flavor was good but could've been more tender. All in all a cute spot to meet with friends or drink at the bar. Easily my favorite meal on the Calgary trip!

I went to many restaurants during my visit to Calgary and this restaurant is by far my favourite! I was excited to eat here due to a recommendation and I was more than pleased! The ambiance was nice and cozy, although it got a bit dark. I was super surprised by the eggplant fries! The yogurt dip was delicious and paired perfectly. The tuna crudo dish was so refreshing. Honestly, everything I ate was delicious, and I was super full. I don't have anything bad to say about anything! The Italian pork sausage conchiglie pasta was excellent. If I had more room to spare I would have eaten another plate! My friends and I of course ordered all of the desserts and no surprise, everything was delicious! We had to take the rest to go because the 3 of us couldn't finish everything. I'm so excited for Bridgette Bar to come to Toronto! My friends and I keep talking about how much we miss Bridgette Bar's excellent food.

This was a great restaurant in Calgary! All the food was amazing!! Came here with a group and we had made a reservation so we were seated right away. Service was great! I felt like the waitresses were checking in on us at a good frequency to make sure we had everything we needed and checking in on how our orders were. Food was all delicious and presented well. They have a good selection for both food and drinks. Space itself was very cool. Definitely one of the nicer spots to go to in Calgary. Overall would totally recommend for a date night or nice dinner out with a group.

Good food and love the decor and vibe. Lots of thought was put into the decor. Can I hire your interior designer!? Must try: Garlic bread! They look like beignets and are deep fried and stuffed with cheese! Beet salad was good as well along with eggplant fries. Our service was great and our server made some great recommendations. Would definitely come back again.

It was only a few minutes walking distance from our hotel. Great food and service and the restaurant is such a vibe. We enjoyed everything we ordered.

my sister booked bridgette bar approximately a month ago through open table. we were a party of five and were seated promptly at 6:15 pm on a friday evening. this place is busy. the ground level seemed more casual, for drinks, and the second level was more for dining. it has a trendy vibe, industrial feel, with high ceilings. there's a featured cycling race mural on one wall, two vintage bmw motorcycles on prominent display, framed pictures including one of bridgette bardot. we shared most everything and started off with: spiced beet salad wagyu beef carpaccio, favourite dish margherita pizza grilled octopus salad our server raquel (or rachel, could not hear properly as the noise level made it hard to decipher) was very personable and attentive, checked in on us, refilled our waters and timed the meal to ensure maximum table real estate was utilized. for mains we had both the grilled lamb sirloin and wood roasted half duck. the lamb was cooked to perfection and i enjoyed it, but others in our party found it a bit gamey. the duck had a nice crispy sear to skin. everything up to this point was delicious. wanting to try other dishes, we looked at the menu and wanted to get a few more items and our server recommended the garlic bread, which put us over the top. we should have stopped there, but we decided to order a flight of desserts to share. we had the banana pie, roasted strawberry mille-feuille, and chocolate marquise. we agreed that dinner was better than the desserts, or perhaps we were just too full to enjoy and could not finish. it's hard to pinpoint what this restaurant is, there's pizza and pasta, mediterranean inspired ingredients and also japanese with the sake. the menu is fresh and innovative, and great for groups. reservations are highly recommended.

I regret that we didn't come here earlier and more hungry. The food here is outstanding. The pickle granita for the oysters was so innovative and tangy - you don't need anything else on them. We got the sausage pasta and the cod - both were fantastic and I wanted to eat more and order additional plates but was too full from a late lunch. We had reservations for 9 but they were super accommodating when we got there early and sat us right away. I found the vibe there to be upscale but not fussy - laidback but still luxe. Great cocktails and one of the best glasses of wine I've had ever - a Brigette bar exclusive!

Lovely establishment! We were sat right away, and our server was excellent. Very attentive, and gave great suggestions. Recommended dishes: the wood grilled carrots, crispy smashed potatoes, bread + butter, and Italian pork sausage pasta. You won't leave hungry.. I tried the heiress in Paris drink, which is not for the faint of heart - haha Beautiful ambiance! Definitely recommend!

We are from out of town and this was our first bite to eat here and it was sooo good! My husband and I shared the Tuna Crudo, Halibut,Steak and the cauliflower because we couldn't make up our mind and not single dish was less than perfect!! The drinks were just as good! With excellent service and ambiance. We will be back!!

Lovely restaurant, but could only reserve a table at 4 pm in the bar area several days before. The bar area was fun and busy. It was a bit chilly sitting next to the huge window that convert into doors. My daughter loved the "industrial feel" (looks like a converted garage with lots of cool decor on all levels and even in the washroom!). It was still Happy Hour until 5 pm, so drinks were 1/2 price! My daughter tried the Dreams of Yu(zu) AND our waiter insisted that she would love the Rolling Canoe and she did! Tasted like cold mulled wine. Both are $16 regular price. For Appies we tried the Eggplant Fries (so yummy), the Tuna Crudo and Belgian Endive in Brie Cream. It was all unique and delish! Then we shared a Fennel Salami pizza and were too full for dessert. Our friendly waiter whipped up a delicious Blueberry Tea for me and kept the water filled and hot. A lovely early dinner before heading to a Candlelight Concert in nearby Inglewood. Parking right on the street in front.

I hosted my sister's bridal shower at Bridgette Bar and we had an extremely disappointing experience. The service and execution of the event were laughable and, frankly, embarrassing. I do NOT recommend hosting events or large groups at Bridgette Bar. 1) There was a lack of communication between the supervisor I had been emailing with for event planning and the actual staff on the day of. We had confirmed by email correspondence that the food should be served immediately after 2pm so that guests could help themselves as soon as they arrived. However, the first few plates of starters did not get served until well over a half hour of the requested time. This was also only after I had asked multiple times where the food was. At one point, the server mentioned that he had just punched it in at 2pm since that is when the kitchen opened...! This was a surprise to me because I had pre-ordered the food by email the week before since I was committed to a minimum $ spend in booking the semi-private East Dining Room. The rest of the food continued to be served in slow intervals. 2) Initially, only one server was assigned to our entire group of 25 guests. I felt bad for him as he tried to take orders and serve drinks by himself. Only after he was struggling for a long time did management finally assign more servers to our group. This also meant that the majority of my guests were waiting to have their drink orders taken (and then waiting to receive those drinks) well into the first hour of the party. 3) The assistant manager actually waived the $5 per person "outside dessert" fee as a way of apologizing for the slow food and drinks at the beginning of the event. However, I am not sure they had even known about it if I hadn't brought it up to the server halfway through the party. 4) During the last hour of the party, I was told that since there were reservations for 5pm in our booked space, we should start clearing out of the tables around a quarter to. This came as a shock to me as I had confirmed my booking to be until 5pm. They did offer some space near the front of the restaurant but it was very crowded (a couch, two chairs and coffee table) for our group. Instead of ending the party on a positive note, we had to start packing up, loading gifts into the car, ushering guests into a different cramped space...it felt very chaotic and rushed. If I had been told during the planning stage that we would need to be out of our space before 5pm, I would changed the time of our party. It felt very unprofessional to have reservations booked without allowing for time to clean-up between parties. 5) A few days after the event, I noticed that an additional amount was charged to my credit card. When I emailed to inquire, I was told that they had noticed that a large portion of drinks from the party had not been added onto the final bill. They said they tried to call me but ultimately ended up using my credit card on file to charge the amount. I was baffled because there was no voicemail or email to show they had tried to contact me after the event. This is completely unacceptable. It also shows how disorganized the team is if you are losing track of $300 in drink orders. The food and drinks were fortunately good but, overall, I'm shocked that a Concorde Entertainment Group restaurant operates at such an amateur level. This was supposed to be a fun get-together to kick-off the wedding events and instead it left us with an incredibly negative experience hosting our family and friends.

The service was accommodating even when we showed up 5 minutes before last call for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered for lunch, we'd order it again. Flavours were very memorable and each dish had its own profile. 5/5!

Was in Calgary for one day and was recommended to dine here, so I made a reservation about a month in advance. It was the perfect meal: amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful service! I made a note we were celebrating a birthday and they actually left a card for us with all the staff signatures - what a thoughtful gesture! While everything was good, my favourites were the eggplant fries and the Brussels sprouts! Sooo unique and flavourful. Would definitely recommend this place for a night out!

First stop in Calgary and got the rec from an airport bystander. Did not disappoint! 4 of us sat at the bar where everything was 1/2 off (HH!) and watched the bartender put on a show making drinks (s/o Jessie). Variet of beer (hazy ipa ) to chose from and delicious pizza. The entire decor of the resturant is what really topped it off for me. Would love to make it back here before we leave and experience the full menu.

Modern, clean, and popular. Had to book a reso weeks in advance! Drinks were good - my cake boy old fashioned was a bit too sweet though. Food came out freakishly fast. We just shared some of their fries, and tuna crudo, and banana pie. All the food was good!! Service was just decent - not great, but definitely not bad.

I was definitely into the ambience; they have an identity that is uniquely memorable. Though, the kitchen is open, loud, and exposed to half the dining area, so noise levels can be a bit much. That, and they mix seating styles; as in, booth on one end of the table, chairs on the other (which I know is "the thing" these days, but I still hate it). The food is luckily the star of the show here. It's all Family-Style (of course), which I've grown fond of, as it encourages friendly collaboration. Do not let their vague menu fool you--understand that they'll put a "spin" on even the most "normal" sounding items. For instance, the, "Garlic Bread," is more than you'd think it is and I highly recommend! The, "Rigatoni," was also a fave, simple; yet, flavourful. What I appreciated was how the flavours would grow on my date and I the more we ate certain dishes--the, "Wagyu Beef Carpaccio," was like that, as were the, "Eggplant Fries," (don't knock it 'em you try 'em). For dessert, "The Banana Pie," is the way to go, perfect way to cap off the meal. Our server was great. They had a bit of trouble matching our energy in the first half, but eventually figured it out. They were helpful in explaining the items, and encouraging in our exploration of the menu. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone with adventurous tastes buds and a high tolerance for background noise. That said, I'll need a to go a few more times to see if the menu itself can overtake the novelty of a new experience. Happy dining.

I would have been 5 stars but I brought pre schoolers ( PaPa) and they are not as equipped for that. It was excellent and the family loved the novelty of it.

It's been awhile where I've eaten somewhere a bit more upscale and have been thoroughly impressed. I can say with confidence that if you're looking for an amazing meal and are in Calgary, you'll need to add this spot to your list. The interior decor and vibe was open, clean, kinda dark and moody but modern. Brick walls and iron details throughout. We ate indoors because it was so hot outside - was glad we got a spot and had a reservation. For cocktails I ordered the "If Don Juan Were a Woman" which included tequila, grapefruit, IPA, lime, aquafaba (which is chickpea water and resembles egg white when whisked so this can be vegan!) soda, and cinnamon. It was pretty delicious but I could only have one. We switched to Pinot Noir and then bubbles later...haha. To eat we split a variety of items: - Eggplant fries with an aioli - you must have these - Burrata - speaks for itself - Crispy smashed potatoes - loved - Ricotta Dumplings in a red sauce - unreal - Rigatoni in a cream truffle sauce - this is a need - Cauliflower - was just OK Absolutely loved my time here and would recommend it time and time again. Staff was friendly but a bit slow - it was a busy night though so giving some grace.

Came here for lunch during the YYC Exp with a good friend. I really like the atmosphere of Bridgette Bar. Awesome great food. I ordered Wagyu Beef Tartare (Eggplant, Pickles, Sumac, Crackers) - not wow but it was good. small light appetizer. I wish the crackers were a lot more crunchier or thicker so that it would be able to hold the beef tartare when placed on top of it. Also, it was more on the vinegar side. I say too much vinegar overpowering the beef flavor. Braised Short Ribs (Celeriac Pavé, Shallot, Perigord sauce) - was definitely my favorite. It was very flavorful and tender. It was cooked to perfection. Ricotta Cheesecake (Honey, Walnuts, Pistachio) - Super delicious. I really like the cheesecake flavor. The crust was not the ordinary graham cracker. It had a nice strong cream cheese flavor along with honey. All the above for $20! I like the decor and atmosphere here. I highly recommend trying this place if you have never been. Everything was superb and delicious. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. We sat at the chefs table, which was incredibly fun. Even on a Monday, the kitchen was hopping, yet everything was clean, refined, and organized. Tried several dishes: eggplant fries, cheese bread, sausage pasta, trout, and the banana pie. Tried two different drinks (forgot the names)-- both good. All of the food was thoughtfully developed and delicious. Not a single bad bite of food. The open wood/coal grill really adds such a nice touch and flavor. I've been in Canada for the last week traveling all around and this is the best tasting food I've had so far and at a fantastic price. Would highly, highly recommend!

We had a bit of trouble getting in because we didn't make a reservation but luckily a couple cancellations got us a table. Our server Derek had so much personality and was fun. I loved the way the menu is set up for sharing but the entrees can be a full meal for one too! The oysters were outstanding. That pickle ice is out of this world. We loved the beet salad and the steak. The smashed potatoes were good but I'd try some of the other vegetables first. Honestly the menu was so hard to pick from as I wanted it all. Their garlic bread is unique and delicious They have amazing cocktails. Not a cheap dinner but we'll worth the experience. The flavours are outstanding

I have been coming to this place since it opened. I only have one complaint. The level of service has gone down considerably. I think management needs to re-train its staff to be more than just drink and food runners. Little details matter, bathroom napkins not restocked, Couch area chairs need replacing! Food menu also needs change! I hope some changes will take place as I do enjoy going there!

The service was amazing - the server we had was attentive and provided wonderful suggestions for what we could try. All of the dishes we ordered exceeded our expectations and were all flavour bombs. The sausage pasta was a bit saltier than we had wanted, but was delicious nonetheless. Highly recommend the garlic bread and the octopus salad!

Bridgette Bar is my absolute favorite restaurant in Calgary so far. The vibe and ambiance as soon as you walk in is exactly my style. Upbeat, modern and fun. Hubby and I both really enjoyed the drinks that we ordered - forgive me I can't remember the names! But we both ordered 2 different drinks each and loved them all. Now to the food. Whew it was SO good! I devoured my Rigatoni and hubby devoured his duck. We would definitely order both again. We also really enjoyed the garlic bread as our appetizer. If it wasn't so hard to get a reservation, we'd come here at least once a month as we really enjoyed everything about Bridgette Bar!

Bridgette Bar: . 1)oysters ($3.50/each) - with dill pickle sauce. We loved these and would recommend/ get again. . 2)Burrata Cheese ($20)- Broccoli Pesto, White Anchovy (on side), Sourdough--so delicious we almost ordered a second one. One of the faves. Highly recommend . Spiced Beet Salad ($13) - Whipped Feta, Pickled Shallots, Herbs, Pistachi- did not like this one. The spice was too much and kind of ruined the dish. Maybe with a yogurt dressing more or something, but would not get this one again. Fresh and beautiful presentation, but no. . Brussel Sprouts ($14) - Maple Gastrique, Hazelnut, Brown Butter- verrry delicious and creamy. Would get again and highly recommend. . Rigatoni ($19) - Truffled Mushroom, Parmesan Sauce - tasty but maybe wanted a little more sauce or add the black truffle. . Dessert: banana cream pie ($10)-Pretzel, Toasted Meringue, Rum Cara- looks lovely, but too sweet and did not feel well after. It was too much with the meringue. . Overall: the experience was great and we had a lovely server. All the food was unique, well thought out, tasty and beautifully presented. I love the ambience and decor, but a little loud since it's open concept. The service was great, but, again no treat for your bday and when they were out of something they didn't supplement. They just said it was out and charged the same. That's one thing I don't like. I guess bougie places don't have to do this? Not sure. I'd still go back and very much enjoyed our experience, but it's the little things sometimes and the customer appreciation that's missing.

Chill cool spot, with fun drinks (alcoholic and non) and delicious food. Highly recommend the Margherita pizza, with a side of French Fries. Service is also excellent. Overall great spot.

The drinks were great-- they have an excellent selection and the cocktails were fun. The food was good too-- reasonably priced considering the quality and amount of food you get. The service, however, was just okay. We were forgotten by our server, so we didn't have anyone come around for over 40 minutes. Our food was cold as well, which I think had to do with our table being forgotten. They eventually noticed our table hadn't had anyone check in on us for a while, and then promptly provided great service. They said there was just a mix-up in communication for a bit, which is understandable in such a busy place. Overall was a great restaurant and we would definitely come again.

I was super excited to try this place because I've heard so much about it! The menu is a little bit on the pricier side, but it is definitely WORTH IT! I had the Rigatoni and it was to die for. Hands down one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Calgary--I was very pleased. I ordered the Banana Pie for dessert (to go) and it was great as well! The banana to cream topping ratio seemed off as there was a ton of cream BUT it was still an amazing dessert and perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere & service were excellent as well. I can't wait to come back here.

Great food and service had the chicken liver pâté and a pizza... and a glass of the Bardolino well two glasses but who's counting, finished with the banana desert and an Irish coffee. Who's counting?

I passed by The Bridgette Bar while walking around the city yesterday and decided to look them up online and walk in tonight. I was excited about the food from what I saw online, but I was not ready for the experience I was about to have. First of all, the hosts were super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in through the door, even though they were a flight up from me. They proceeded to inquire where I would feel most comfortable dining tonight (I was lucky as it was not a busy night - Halloween and all). I chose the lounge upstairs. Very shortly after I sat down, Jesse (from the bar) came up and got me a glass of water. We then chatted a little bit about the menu and having never been there before, he was able to give me well thought out and relevant recommendations, all of which I took. I've worked in the restaurant industry and I have to say Jesse was exceptional. He knew exactly when to come and check in and knew exactly when I was perhaps not ready to be approached and backed up when he realized this. He was also very easy to talk to and had great knowledge of the food and bar menu. His recommendations, down to the dessert, was bang on! And then there was the food ... I actually had a few moments when I just sat there smiling relishing all the flavours that were in my mouth. Everything was so spot on. The textures, the combination of flavours, the preparation and presentation. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. And Jesse's mocktail recommendation of a "surprise something or other with ginger" was so good!!! The spot, the music, the food, and especially the people really made my solo night in an unfamiliar city on Halloween really special. I for sure will be back when I can and would not hesitate recommending The Bridgitte Bar to all of my friends and colleagues.

Upscale restaurant with tasty and savory dishes. Very fitting for a special occasion like a date, birthday and on days you want to treat yourself. The cheesy garlic bread is a staple and you must get it! The duck was very juicy and tender. The plating was beautiful too.

First time here with my gf Deb. I showed up early as they checked my coat. Chairs aren't good for hanging purses or jackets so make use of this service! Our waitress was polite but not overly friendly, engaging or attentive. Deb started with a glass of wine and we decided to share everything. We started with eggplant fries with a kicked up yogurt dip and seared scallops with pear sticks and jalapeños in a light butter sauce. The scallops were smaller than I hoped but cooked perfectly. The eggplant fries were very good too. Next up, the lamb with double rapini as we both aren't fond of apricots and a lobster fusilli. Portions of these large plates are generous. Lamb was meltingly tender with gently charred rapini. I did find the sauce to be a bit smoky n cloying so for those who don't like gas or smokiness to their food might dislike it. Pasta slightly overdone and not al dente/ I totally agreed. However, the tomato sauce was deelish with chunks of lobster throughout. We were incredibly full but Deb ordered a beermisu to go aka tiramisu but with beer. It came in a nice glass jar and she texted me to say that it was deelish and her cat enjoyed licking the bits off. Decor was unique. It's an old building converted with a partially open kitchen. A private dining room, a motorcycle hanging from the ceiling and seating is well spaced. Love that I can eat without total strangers hearing my every word or so close we might as well dine together! Overall, I'd go again to try more items. They've only been open 3 months or so but were very busy on a Thursday night.

Always Love the decor. Wine was delicious and enjoyed the carpaccio. Service is polite if a bit rushed. Nice to pop in for a drink and appy.

Was here on a Friday evening with a female friend before a Christmas concert. Nice location, the atmosphere was very welcoming, the ceilings are very high, we were situated right by the bar Food was interesting, and tasty. We ordered the eggplant fries, oysters and the pizza was wonderful as well. The bar stuff made me a super nice nonalcoholic drink. He even added bitters later when I wanted more spice. Great place

This was a pleasant surprise as I am not one for pub restaurants. The service, ambience and food were outstanding. In fact, I plan to return with a friend this week because I told him he must experience the food. The server I got was a wealth of information as I like to know a lot about the food. He was kind enough to introduce me to the chef. Had the wood roasted half duck; simply out of this world delicious.

Been here twice and loved it each time. The wait staff are extremely pleasant and helpful when it comes to making selections off the menu. Chicken is great, more than enough for two. Burrata is delicious. Garlic bread is a must. Steak is 10/10. If you are on the fence about going, do it.

How A Restaurant I've Never Been To Earned a True 5 Star Review It was my best friend's birthday dinner and I couldn't make it. Not because I had some trouble getting across Calgary, but because Covid-19 has blocked me from being able to get into Canada from the US. I knew where she was going to dinner though, so I sent a few emails. I emailed Bridgette Bar to setup some kind of surprise and Amanda worked with me quickly and so easily to get something special setup. I was able to pay for dinner and leave a nice note with no hassle and great follow up assuring me everything was good to go. Thank you again so much for the help and letting me celebrate my best friend from afar.

Candle lit tables, captivating dishes and engaging servers add to the wonderfully intimate setting of this venue. The tapas style menu offers you a variety of dishes, all with interesting and unique flavours. The wagyu beef carpaccio and grilled octopus are must try items, the vinegarette to each (mushroom and sherry, respectively) perfectly elevated the protein in each dish. My only regret is not trying this place sooner!

I was amazed by the vibe and ambiance. It s a lovely place and the food was delicious but on top of all was the great service.
