My wife and I recently visited Brekkie for breakfast, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. Despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being quite busy, we were able to get a table right away, which was a pleasant surprise.
The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with festive decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was our first visit, and we decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. I ordered the Classic Brekkie, which included 4 sunny side up eggs, sourdough bread, double smoked bacon, and a medley of hand-cut crispy potatoes. My wife, who follows a keto diet, opted for 2 poached eggs, bacon, and a salad. I also had a black coffee, which I found decent.
The food came out quickly and was very good. While we didn't order anything too complex, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. The ingredients were fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. The cozy setting of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.
The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu. Brekkie has certainly earned a spot on our list of favourite breakfast spots!

A cute brunch spot that gets very very busy. The potato hash here stood out the most in terms of food. Great service and atmosphere here. The plating of the food was also appealing. There's a lot of items that i would love to try here. The quantity is just right (not too much nor too little). Averages around $20 a meal here.

We had mushroom pesto parmesan , Barbacoa beef short ribs and caramel apple pancakes. They were so delicious and staff were super friendly. Make sure to join their wait list online during weekend before leaving home.
It’s gonna be one of our regular places for sure!

I’m really glad we were able to get a table, as this place gets very busy on Sundays for brunch. The poutine I ordered was surprisingly filling, which is rare for me, so I appreciated the generous portion. My only complaint is that the beef short rib seemed underseasoned or perhaps needed a longer marinade—it lacked flavor. The Salmon Benny was similar to what you'd find at other brunch spots in Calgary. Our server was excellent, and overall, we had a great experience with no major complaints

Of course, Brekkie being a popular place there is no surprise the wait list was long, so putting your group on queue way in advance is the best way to experience the cafe! Staff were warm and welcoming, and the incredible food took an acceptable amount of time to come out considering ordering for a family. Atmosphere was good, decor and lighting helped with that. Though, the front desk/area being small would impact the atmosphere a little though, with many people coming in and out. Overall would recommend the spot with planning in advance!!
Something for the staff to look into and is very serious for food hygiene! Light bulbs overhead on tables are dusty, overhead air ducts and exhaust are black with dust see pictures.. that in my opinion needs some attention.. oh yes the plants too needs some watering.

I had an amazing experience & I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast! I ordered an Eggs Benedict and it was simply divine. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the coffee was top-notch too; rich and flavorful, just what we needed to kickstart our day.
Overall, Brekkie is a fantastic spot for breakfast. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

A small and very busy breakfast place. The breakfasts have a rustic feel and are of high quality. Their coffee is quite good and refills happen quickly. Definitely a place to check out. Reservations are pretty much a must.
The pancakes are huge but light and airy. The hollandaise is delicious. The short rib was very tender and not stringy or chewy.

What you’re looking at is the Honey Chili Chicken & Waffle ($24), Caramel Apple Pancakes ($21), and Vietnamese coffee ($6.9).
Drinking Vietnamese coffee is a game changer. I thoroughly enjoyed it, super creamy and delicious.
The chicken and waffle was easily some of the best food I’ve eaten in Calgary so far. It’s a corn waffle and the chicken was marinated before fried. To add, there was a pickle slaw. PICKLE SLAW. I don’t think I can eat regular coleslaw ever again, I’m converted. You can tell that everything is house made: the hollandaise, waffles, and chicken. My ONLY gripe was that this waffle wasn’t as spicy as I expected. It was barely spicy. But wow was this savoury dish delicious.
Now onto the best tasting dish ever. Brekkie’s Caramel Apple Pancakes. This is the type of meal you eat on your death bed, it’s that good. I’m talking THICK, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, house made apple pie filling, brown butter caramel custard, and not too sweet real whipped cream. If you eat anything in Calgary, let it be this dish. It had us scrapping the plate clean.
Brekkie put a lot of Saskatchewan restaurants to shame with this one. If you plan on going, make a reservation. It fills up quite fast and parking can be atrocious.
