Before trying the madeleines here, I never had a great impression on mareleines. I never understood what the hype for madeleines were. Even at Oberweis, the madeleines are so so, at best 5/10. I’ve tasted madeleines all over the world and they have always been just OK. The madeleines here are exceptional. We bought 2 to try. They were so good, we bought 4 the next time. Before leaving Luxembourg, we bought 8. The classic ones. You can taste the quality and freshness. Indescifrable but when you taste it, you will know. 2 euro a piece is a bit pricey but for the quality, it was worth it.

The smell you can’t resist, the taste you won’t forget! The irresistible smell of freshly baked madeleines of this store will definitely pull you inside. Whether you are for any administrative reasons at the Bierger Center or just hanging out in the Center/Hamilius area, this is a must visit to please your taste buds. I always try around half past five as there are more changes of getting the instantly baked madeleines.

Don’t really get the hype, just a good Madeleine 🤷🏼‍♀️very compact cafe with not much atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place. Their madeleine are the best I have ever eaten. The staff are very nice and friendly. At first, I bought just 3 pieces taking home but after I tried I had to walk back to buy more. This place is much better than the chocolate house nearby.

Decided to go there because of all good reviews and in fact, had I decided to take the cakes to go it would have been a positive review because the cakes are tasty, but if you decide to take them there you will probably be disappointed. All the drinks were served in paper cups, coffee and water (the water bottle was also wet), the explanation of the waitress was it’s easier that way because then they don’t have to wash the cups. Also the toilet was out of service, nobody gives you that information forehand so if you want to enjoy the cakes grab them to go, because here you won’t get the comfortable cosy experience of sitting in a coffee shop. Problems can happen, but customers need to be informed before they order that the basic sanitary needs won’t be met.
