Discover casual Californian fare at Boon Fly Café, where vibrant brunches and famous donuts shine in a rustic barn at Carneros Resort.
"While FARM, the other restaurant at Carneros Resort & Spa undergoes a remodel and a menu revamp from two-time James Beard award-winning chef Chris Bianco, the property’s other restaurant remains open. Its donuts, served in a cute bucket — a must with hot coffee — are part of the daily brunch menu as is the chicken and waffle. We reserve the right to pair the lime-garnished bacon bloody Mary with a plate of green eggs and ham. There’s something Seussian about the subtle green and red pairing that gets us rhymin’ like, well, Theodor." - Christina Mueller
"Dinner at Boon Fly Cafe When you tell your friends that you're headed here, everyone will chime in about the dish that you have to get. 'Make sure you try the smoked salmon flatbread!' 'The burger, be sure to get the burger'.' 'The donuts! You have to get the donuts!' It's good to know that with breakfast, brunch or lunch, they don't take reservations. Be prepared to possibly wait and hang out on the porch swings or hang out at the bocce courts and play a while (they're about a 10-minute walk from Boon Fly). With dinner, they do take reservations and I'd encourage you to get those well-ahead. If you've had a big bike ride in nearby Napa Valley or are headed in to downtown Napa for a concert or event, Boon Fly Cafe is just 5 miles away and will leave you with your belly full and happy."

"In this red barn right on the Carneros Resort property, weekend brunch is a major thing, both for visitors and locals, thanks to diner favorites like green eggs and ham, a triple stack of griddle cakes, and breakfast tacos—despite it not taking reservations. (Oh, and a bacon Bloody Mary, obviously.) If you have to be in and out, don't miss the made-to-order cinnamon doughnuts or scones. "
"A great spot for brunch with amazing coffee, mimosas, and eggs Benedict. Brunch here is highly recommended before jumping on the Napa Valley Wine Train." - Travel + Leisure Editors
