BONITO SAINT BARTH

This was the best meal we had in St. Barth! The restaurant is beautiful and charming, with warm ocean themed decor and views of Gustavia. The cocktails were outstanding and the food absolutely exquisite. This is a must-see in St. Barth. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Expect to pay the price when going. I’m a foodie and have enjoyed great restaurants all over the world. The service here was top notch, I enjoyed dining here with beautiful views, atmosphere, and decorations of the restaurant. Now the food was subpar compared to the quality of this place. We ordered salmon tiradito (really good), shrimp ceviche (would skip this one, the sauce is weird and spicy also the shrimp is cooked), garden salad (nice simple dressing). Then “Lomo Saltado” (this is wagyu and was so tough couldn’t even chew it… but flavour is there), sea bass (5/10 very small and thin), truffle risotto (it’s good but overpowering with truffle). Overall all portions are very small with a high price tag and I wouldn’t come back to dine but maybe stop by for a cocktail and a snack. Or dine once just to experience it. The “sex in the bathtub” cocktail was a hit !

The food was tasty. View was lovely. But terribly overpriced even for St. Barths. 3 oz sea bass $89. It was good, but not amazing. The duck was delicious, but needed a snack an hour later, again maybe 3.5 oz. Rushed drinks on us. Found better meals for the price elsewhere.

Without any doubt, one of the best restaurants in Saint Barth. Enjoyed both the cocktails and the cuisine. I opted for a late dinner this time, but next time I would definitely go for a late afternoon setup or an early dinner in order to enjoy to the sunset view. I highly recommend it.

I'm somewhat of a foodie, and have dined in great places around the world, both high end and local street food. We booked this restaurant on our recent trip to St. Barth's, expecting it to be the gastronomic highlight of our week. We were pretty disappointed. The prices were insane, even for St. Barth. From what we experienced the same week from other places, this was sub par. We had to send our food back because it was way over cooked. Even with the replacement, it was lacklustre. Also, if you are charging this amount, make it an experience. We ordered a martini to start, and the sommelier kept asking us about a wine choice. We finally chose one and the bottle was opened and tasting offered while we were still on our martini. The food and drinks came way too fast. We had three courses and we were done in an hour. One diner roll was offered per person. Honestly it felt like a factory. Perhaps the magic of this place is gone.

Absolutely beautiful open air space with stunning cocktails, and perfectly executed seafood with a Peruvian flair. This is definitely one of the most lively and gorgeous dining rooms in St Barth, and the style perfectly fits the island. The cocktail program is superb, delivering some of the best drinks I’ve had, and each has its own unique presentation. Service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a date night or dinner with friends!

This could have easily been a 5 Star review had the hostess, Mary, not been so unyielding during our reservation process and seating when we arrived for dinner. We were a party of 4 in St. Barths to celebrate my husband's birthday and requested being seated on the patio. There were 4 tables available that remained available for the two hours we dined. There was no other party of 4 that came in during that time. Aside from that. The food was beyond fantastic, and the service was magical. The wait staff were very much at the top of their game, and the level of service saved the evening.

The best experience! Lovely environment and great food! If you visit the island, you cannot miss this place!
