"The welcoming fireplace, indoor outdoor flow and pleasing airplane hangar architecture draw you in, and the food is what you want it to be from breakfast on. The Fromage and Charcuterie is legit and you can take some home with a sweet treat from the ‘market’ side of the restaurant. Their happy hour is amazing, bringing in the old world custom that if you buy a drink, you get free Tapas! This brilliancy may be why Bon Vivant has been gaining steam among the locals and the lunch and night time crowds get bigger every month." - Brains on Fire

SO MUCH FLAVOR AND TEXTURES! The food here was amazingly delicious! The decor was pleasant and the staff was nice. I definitely want to come back to try more food. The fish and chicken were cooked perfectly.

I have been coming to Bon Vivant for several years and it really has something for everyone. I especially appreciate the outdoor patio that is super dog friendly. They sometimes have live music and unique specials. Sometimes you have to hunt a server down but everyone is very friendly and offer excellent suggestions. I definitely recommend!

I like the ambiance of this French cafe/ restaurant. The music is nice too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and it’s good. The sayer was good. I didn’t like the bread that much because it wasn’t toasted that much. The chicken could have been juicer and more flavorful. They actual put a lot of chicken. Comes with salad or fries. Prices are a bit higher than other places. There’s an outdoor patio. There’s no wifi on weekends. You can park in the residential area for free. Feel good to work on your computer. They have communal tables. It’s a nice place to come drink wine and eat cheese. Voila!

Stopped by to have my favorite coffee latte drink; to be honest it was one of the most interesting (negative) coffee latte I ever had. It was serve on a perfect coffee mug, unfortunately it was filled a bit above half cup and the taste was just average. Food was good. PS: I want to give a thanks for the little gift at the end which was a pistachio macaron cookie, it was delicious!

I went here to get a quick coffee (Americano) and a tiramisu. The coffee was actually good, and the tiramisu also tasted good! But what I love about this place is that they made the tiramisu take out special by adding whipped cream around the tiramisu (NOT on, don’t worry) so that there wouldn’t be empty space. The owner of Bon Vivant was SO nice. A very sweet man. The service was great, even for take out.

It's one of my favorite restaurants. Laid back vibe, good food and drink. Prompt service and the daytime bartender is really nice. Overall a great experience.

I had Pancake banana & walnut with warm butter and scrambled eggs. Mozzarella, mushrooms & onion omelette. Both OMG. Not an outside eater but it was wonderful and to listen to the fantastic band. As a visitor to LA, I would recommend this place hands down. Our server brought a bowl with water for our grand dog who we were babysitting for. Sorry forgot to get waitress name (12:30p) today. Went back 5/4/22 brunch today steak and eggs spot on, Daniel server really nice, brought treats for the puppy.
