"You never know what kind of local band you’ll stumble upon at Bohemeo’s. The East End cafe hosts everything from rowdy punk shows to experimental electronic music, all while serving coffee, vegan tacos, and pressed paninis. Most folks at Bohemeo’s are either sizing up each other's recent at-home hair dye experiment over on-tap kombucha, meeting on the patio for online marketplace transactions, or pretending to do homework while noodling around on a guitar theory brought from home. "Bo's is the neighborhood hub that you want in every neighborhood in the city. They've got good coffee, great beer options, open mic nights, friendly staff, decent food, music on the weekends, festivals or food trucks sporadically, and just a comfortable vibe. Come around 6:30-7pm on Thursdays and join the (unaffiliated, but nice and social) [Bohemeo's Badass Bike Ride](https://www.facebook.com/groups/106062032876910/?ref=br_rs). And they're in Tlaquepaque Market ([Kanomwan Thai](http://www.houstonpress.com/location/kanomwan-thai-6798066), CrossFit Houston, [Blue Line East End](http://www.bluelinebikelab.com/storelocator/east-end-2.htm), etc) to boot." - Primer Grey

Very cool vibes. It's a place that beats to their own drum. Seems like they always have something going on during the weekends. I've ordered their fish 🌮's which are good and have had their delicious blueberry muffins, the best. Their coffee is exceptional. Have already been back a few times. Oh, they also have wine and beer selection, too. Very relaxing. I've started following them to see what entertainment they host. My reading is really a 4.5 & that's just bc I thought the tacos were slightly bland but that's really a preference thing. If you're in the area five this place a looksie, it'll be worth your time, Imo.

Coffee was amazing, loved the outdoor space, breakfast tacos were good too.

I hosted my school’s holiday party here the last two school years since it’s just down the street. We have not been dissatisfied! They have the perfect backyard patio area for a small-medium group. We brought our own karaoke machine and speaker and the staff at Bohemeo’s kept the appetizers coming as ordered! Excellent place and even better service from the staff!

Google
We came for coffee and found a great selection of beer and yummy breakfast tacos. Try the green sauce... it's great. Prost!

As the name would suggest, Bohemeo's is a coffee shop with a Bohemian vibe, located far into the East End. The venue has an indoor area with with a small stage at the back and bicycles on the walls, an adjacent covered porch area, a courtyard with fountain, and a covered pavilion which also contains a stage. Seating is pretty ample with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor options. Based on the notices on the walls, it also seems live music is a regular occurrence on said stages. The place offers a standard if not expansive coffee menu (not a lot of more unique options like flat white or matcha) with beans from local roaster Cruiser Coffee as well as draft and bottled beer, wine, and a pretty extensive food menu of appetizers, cookies, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and sandwiches. They also offer food specials, and when I visited, it was "Fish Taco Friday". On this occasion, I was just there to get some work done and so only had the drip coffee, which was of a good smoothness and richness. The staff was very friendly, and there was a small crowd of people both indoors and outdoors. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because, while I do like the decor and vibe, it didn't feel quite as cozy as I would have preferred for a coffee shop in which to work. Regardless, yet another good addition to the good coffee shops in the East End.

Google
Outstanding! This is a casual neighborhood coffee/bar/cafe. The espresso is excellent. The Baja Fish Tacos are freshly made and delicious on the whole wheat tortillas. You can sit inside or outside on the patio or in the garden area. I sat in the covered patio with cooling fans for a pleasant afternoon lunch. The name is perfect. The place is truly Bohemian! I have to come back in the evening when the bands play. Great for coffee or a beer. Update: this place is consistently great. I have watched several musicians play in the evenings. It is just a fine place to hang out.

Bohemeos is the epitome of a cool coffee bar in East Downtown, and it truly stands out as a unique gem. This eclectic spot not only serves up fantastic coffee but also knows how to keep the good vibes flowing. The live music on weekends adds a special touch, creating an atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding and enjoying the company of friends or fellow coffee lovers. What's even more intriguing is the addition of beer on tap, offering a delightful fusion of coffee and craft beer for those looking to explore different flavors. Google
Vibe- This is a cool spot in Eastwood. There’s a good amount of inside and outside seating. They serve some food items, beer, and coffee. They host different events here (i.e. music festivals) Customer service- It was ok, there was one barista that was kind on my way out and that saved this rating from being closer to 3 stars. Food/drinks- I wanted matcha but they didn’t have any :( so I got a latte with brown cinnamon syrup that was alright Parking- There’s a good amount of parking in the lot.

Yelp
This is classic "coffeehouse". If you want the feel of an OG place this has it all. The coffee is, of course, the star here IMO. It is roasted next door at Cruiser coffee and is one of the finest espresso's in the city. Food is equally good and they are open all day. Stage for live music and a big outdoor patio. Does it get any more coffeehouse?

Maria W.

Yelp
The highlight of this restaurant is that it is perfect for working. They have wall outlets everywhere, you gotta get there early to get close to them. The music is played loud, loud enough not to hear any phone calls for work. The wifi is solid and good for connecting your work hotspot from. It is surprising that they don't have more vegan options. They have one, but mostly vegetarian than anything. The veggie sandwich is so bland, they don't season anything. For $15 for the sandwich and some chips. It's quite annoying when they don't pack your chips with it. The teas are okay, but bagged. They have quality tea bags too. To me, this hipster spot is a hit and miss. They can be a lot better than they are if they would implement more vegan options including desserts, if they teas were actually brewed freshly and not just with the hot water and tea bags. Oh and another BIG thing: the amount of flies that constantly flying non-stop around the restaurant. It's gross. It makes me wonder if it's an Amityville horror scene. Plenty parking and clean cool restrooms though.

Yelp
Great service and good music. Good selection of beers. We went to hear a friend play jazz and we loved it. It's a jewel hidden in the Tlaquepaque Market in the Second Ward.

Yelp
First time at Bohemeo's and I'm so glad I found this place! My coworker and I stopped in for lunch around noon. There weren't many people there which worked in our favor. I ordered shrimp quesadillas and they were served with sour cream, pico, salsa & chips. My coworker ordered a salad and added shrimp. She ordered a brownie too and we split it. The food was good, and the portions were ideal for lunch. I loved that everything was reasonably priced. I was really happy to see so many vegetarian options, so there's definitely something for everyone. The service was great and the guys were friendly. The vibe at Bohemeo's is giving chill indie. I'll be back!

Yelp
Genuinely the most delicious chai latte I have ever had in my life. Fast service, cute building/area with colorful paint jobs. Fun music playing, too.

Huyen C.

Yelp
This place is cute, divey & has outdoor seating. They have wine, beers & also sell coffee. I got a Topo Chico- seltzer (mango) flavor. For food, we got hummus, veggie quesadilla, chicken quesadilla, chips/salsa, & the chicken nachos. All the food was good. We really did like the salsa, had a kick to it. The chicken quesadilla was actually very good & perfect serving size. A cute, affordable place.

Yelp
A coxy and relax place to have a mid-morning coffee. Don't expect a lot of option and fruity style coffee. Service is ok depending on the time of the hours.

Yelp
love this place ! They got good affordable food. The soup in the couture was $4!!! And it's so good and unique for coffee places where usually they just have sandwiches or croissants(they also do have that) but the soup surprised me. This place also doubles as a music venue and I love that. I just want more outlets for studying with my laptop but other than that.. amazing!!

George C.

Yelp
This is a divey atmospheric place. I could imagine coffee fueled writers and artists hanging out in the corners laboring over their creative outputs. It was a super hot and sunny day when I visited and it was wonderfully dark and moody (and cool) on the inside. The only thing that could make it better would be spot lighting at the tables to better see what one is working on. I had an iced chai latte. It was pleasantly sweet and creamy. I wish it had more bite from tea and spices but it was overall good. There were other items that I would like to try in the future such as their tacos. Perhaps they could add mangoladas to their offerings. The service was courteous and kind. They treated you like they wanted your business. None of this ironic if you don't like it too bad attitude seen in many a hipster place trying too hard. I think I will return again. It's a cool neighborhood even if it is a little rough around the edges. Probably not the best place to go by yourself when it is late at night. Would like to see how fall and winter and the return of students affects the ambiance. It would be cool if they could incorporate the Latino vibe that is present in the rest of the shopping center - maybe a Dios de los Muertos theme.

Yelp
Bohemeo's is a great hidden gem! We were worried they would be permanently closed during covid and are so glad they've re-opened. Bohemeo's has a beautiful, spacious patio, as well as a great selection of coffee, wine, and beer. Their tacos and other snacks are pretty tasty, too. My spouse and I visited today. We got the nitro cold brew on tap and the Almond Joy latte. Both were quick, affordable, and delicious. We will continue to return to this neighborhood favorite!

Charlene P.

Yelp
Of all the coffee shops I've visited over the years, this is still by far my favorite iced latte.

Rob B.

Yelp
The iced latte was very good and I appreciated the barista talking me through what I wanted. I'll have a decaf. Espresso? I like it heavy on the milk. Okay, so a decaf latte, and would you like it cold? Uh, well, actually, on this hot evening, yes, yes I would. And it was a great drink, thanks! The Friday Fish tacos were acceptable, especially for the price. They were a bit straightforward, so you might want to mix things up with another choice or two from the menu, rather than loading up on the deal of the day. A bit of pineapple, some chips, or a smattering of beans would round the dish out some. My wife's sandwich was good and she had a bag of chips. We enjoyed the live music. The World Around You was great, very listenable, while the other bands loved to scream a good deal. The tables, chairs, and benches outside and the overall decor could be taken up a few notches.

Ricki D.

Yelp
This place has great coffee, but one of the baristas is a complete jerk. It's possible to be nice to customers, just sayin' We stopped going when we saw this person be rude to a special needs kid and no one called her on it.

Justin A.

Yelp
I found out about Bohemeo's because I heard they throw down a special open-mic every Wednesday night. Special... because the theme is based around the Beatles, and you are only allowed to sing songs or play instruments related to songs from the band! I really wanted to check it out. They say you can sign up to perform by writing your name down on a piece of paper on their counter at 8:00 pm, or you can email them directly at: info@bohemeos.com. There's a 3-song limit, and they provide instruments, amplifiers, and microphones. They say it starts at 8:30 pm, but they started more at like 9:30 pm when I showed up. Luckily, they are located in the Tlaquepaque Market, and there is plenty of parking in their private lot. I ordered a chai tea latté for $3.25 and took a seat near the stage indoors. There is beautiful art posted all around the coffee shop, and they even have an outdoor patio you can chill at. I thought the place looked pretty cool, and I would love to check out Bohemeo's vibe during the day. Overall, I enjoyed myself. It was fun to see all of the brave souls get up there and perform, whether it was playing instruments or singing. As far as my drink goes, I have to say that my chai tea was okay. I really wished it was hotter, but it tasted fine. I will be back to try more items on their menu. If you're a Beatles fan, definitely come on a Wednesday night and watch the f*ckery unfold!

Scott S.

Yelp
Delish coffee drinks, terrific staff, peaceful loving atmosphere. And it looks like live music is a thing.

Erika S.

Yelp
Very cute houston gem!! The patio is adorable, coffee is delicious, they even have snacks. Service was great. Wish this was closer to my house so I could come more often!

Anne S.

Yelp
Great little place! I had some time to kill before checking in to my Airbnb, and this was right nearby. I had some terrific fish tacos with a yummy spicy dip and got an ancho chili brownie for later. It was great to sit outside at a shaded table, have a beer, then a cold brew . . . super friendly staff too. I'd come here all the time if I lived here!

Brenda M.

Yelp
First experience at this place and it was fantastic! You order at the counter, get a number, and wait for your food. There isn't a waiter but if you need anything you can go up to the counter and ask for it. They are happy to help you. The hummus snack plate was big enough for 2 people. It was yummy and it came with warm pita. My favorite were the fish tacos. They have a 3 for $6 special on Friday's. They come in a what tortilla and are very flavorful. The outside patio was very cute and kid friendly. There were also a few cats walking around. Overall, it was very nice.

Seth H.

Yelp
This place is very chill. Has a nice outdoor patio and good coffee. Come here for peaceful respite.

Curt C.

Yelp
A cool coffee shop amidst a bunch of art galleries! This place is a bit hard to find, it's in the middle of a bunch of large buildings that hide it from the street view. You gotta go down an alley by a castle and down another alley to get to it. Indie! They have hot and cold drinks and delicious food to eat. Lots of snack options abound here. They have an outdoor patio that's allows for live music, art shows, and dogs! Bohemeo's is super hip, and is a great place to live out than Bohemian lifestyle. They offer open mic night, and all kinds of poetry readings, and other cool events. The seating is comfortable, and the free wifi is fast! I especially like the artwork around here. It's all weird and unique. It's a great place to chill out and take in the Houston cultural scene.

Tania R.

Yelp
Great service and friendly staff. First time here and enjoyed the patio area, we had a couple beers. It was pretty hot outside but they had large fans that made it pleasant. There's a local cat that hangs about too, super friendly but not in your face type friendly, she keeps to herself.

Antonio H.

Yelp
Coffee and beer also light meals. 10 beers on tap 50 different beers in can or bottle. A variety of coffee drinks and soft drinks available. There's always art for sale on the walls bands some nights. An eclectic fun.place reasonably priced. Great friendly service, and ample parking

Annalisa P.

Yelp
Coffee. Beer. Wine. Funky art. Live music from local artists. What more could you want from a coffee shop? The vibe feels like a transplant out of Austin. It's located near UH, so you would think there'd be a bunch of college students. On the contrary, I stumbled upon this chill place because of a new friend we made while sitting at the bar at Pluckers to catch a Texans game after a rainy day scoping out the Wanderlust market in The Heights. Whoo, long sentence. Lol. Anyway, my friend and I were invited to see one of the bands (Dirty Clean) playing that night cause he grew up with one of the band members. They don't play live music every night, but if you go to the Facebook page, you can check out the calendar lineup. There was a $5 cover free, but our friend paid the cover. Such a gentleman! The place is small, but there is a stage and an outdoor patio. I tried the latte with whole milk. Pretty good. I added honey and a dash of cinnamon. Our friend liked the beers on tap, and my friend enjoyed the red wine. The baristas are friendly. Restrooms are clean. There was an eclectic mix of young and old, high school and college students, families, and all nationalities. People just enjoy good music, and I dig that. There was even a proposal that night within one of the bands (Bandera). I didn't get to try the food, but this is definitely a cool place to study on a quiet day or listen to live music on a date night or just to enjoy the music, in general. Oh and, you can't miss the Obama painting! ;)

Sydney N.

Yelp
My fiancée and I recently moved right down the street from this place and have found ourselves there time and time again. Great coffee, great beer selection, excellent food. Draft beer rotates frequently and is decently priced. They also have plenty of local craft cans for real cheap! I'm pretty sure I got Saint Arnold cans for like $3.50? My go-to meal is the veggie nachos - simple delicious and fresh! Although I'd recommend getting the peppers on the side because those suckers are HOT. Honestly this place is just a great local hang. Large, chill, dog-friendly outdoor area. Local art on the walls, local bands on the stages. Can't beat it!

Susan K.

Yelp
Walked by to see if it was open for a coffee at 7 am. A server let us in. I got a latte for $4.50 and the server asked if milk was ok, I asked if they had alternate and she said they had Oat milk - ok yes. She asked what flavor I would like - ok I said mocha... the coffee was then $6.50. She charged me $1.50 for the oat milk and $.50 for the mocha. What on earth? It was disgusting stale coffee - worse than you'd get at a gas station. And not letting me know the oat milk was an extra $1.50? What? I saw the HEB brand she used. The entire half gallon isn't much more than $1.50. I'll never go back because of the over-charging. The coffee across the street at Monchies was .50 cents and was a billion times better.

Jessica O.

Yelp
Chai latte was great but all you need to know is this .. this following information is the only information you'll need in order to decide whether to come eat here or not .... SHRIMP TACOS !!! Best I've ever had ... EVER !! Fresh, flavorful, tasty, and it's overall great. I drowned mine with their Baja sauce with no regrets.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Came here for something different on a Monday night and wasn't disappointed. I was really afraid this spot would be small and cramped, but there is plenty of space for friends to hang out. I had an iced latte and their portobello panini. The latte was as good as expected and the panini was awesome. I had a small side salad and seemed very fresh to me. The only negative with the panini is that it turned out more like a grilled cheese sandwich with mushrooms. I guess I expected more mushroom, but it was still very good and a lot of food for the price! Another friend got some of their hummus and I have to say it was a bit bland for me. Yet another companion got their chicken nachos and those smelled and looked delicious. It was good enough and the atmosphere was relaxed enough that I'm hoping there is a "next time". It's also fun to watch the cross-fitters run by while having a beer or snacking on some cheesy goodness!

Nancy D.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in Houston The ambience, service and decor is bohemian. We had a leasurely lunch on the patio with prompt service. The menu spread was adequate and well priced Would be coming back again

Arie M.

Yelp
Been meaning to come here for a few years now and just happened to be in the area so I dropped by. When I came, I saw that there was a big party with a band playing and the place was packed. I've been told that this isn't usually the case so take this with a grain of salt; however, it is definitely a fun place when there is stuff going on. The location itself has a lot of character and the neighborhood seems to have changed a lot since the old scary days. I guess it was too loud when I ordered my drink but I was asking them if they had a Chai Latte and instead got a latte latte with coffee but it was still good even though I'm not a coffee drinker. It's nice to go to a place on a Saturday night where alcohol is not the only choice.

Garth V.

Yelp
I live in the area and there is not really any good coffee shops and certainly no Starbucks to go to. Tried this place and couldnt believe how bad it was. The girl at the front was very rude and acted like she just didnt care. The coffee was nothing great but it was in a tiny cup and was over priced, when a coffee shop is higher than a Starbucks you know there is a problem, terrible value. Also I found the "art work" disturbing, especially the giant disgusting mural on the back right wall, to me it was like looking at the devil, I wont be back. Luckily there is a coffee shop just down the street called Coral sword (yes stupid name) but great prices, friendly staff and good coffee

JadyMarie D.

Yelp
I was excited to visit Bohemeo's as we are always in the area. I was able to experience their cute courtyard and beautiful decor. However, after waiting for over 45 minutes, and asking the waiter cleaning up another table for a menu no one returned to ask us if we wanted anything to eat or drink. Hopefully someone else has better luck here, but we will not be back.

Julie E.

Yelp
Always wonderful tacos. Quality ingredients and great sauces. Good beer selection and huge patio. It is a chill place to just have fun. Live music and art abound.

Liana R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, love the tiled tables and the courtyard. The entrance from the courtyard is for hippies only - LOL! Just a great place to hang out and have some coffee or beer. Some fun art work on the walls.

Ann V.

Yelp
What a cute and hipster place! I came here because of the Adult Swim Art Show that was happening but was really hungry so decided to grab something to eat here. I've been craving pizza all day so I got their chicken BBQ pizza. It was so good! Even though it was on a thin crust and it's a personal pizza, it will fill you up because the toppings! My boyfriend got the turkey panini and he said it was really good as well. The panini came with a side salad. The portions at this place were pretty big in my opinion so it was great! Pieces are not cheap but it's affordable and for the portions I think it's a great deal! If you're in the area you must check this place out!

Emily V.

Yelp
You all, it pains me to write a terrible review for this place because my previous experiences were all positive. But, tonight....I can't even. I just had the worst take out ever. Not even from "here," but EVER. I called in a pick up order after work and was estimated a 10-15 minute ready time. I arrived around 15 minutes later and then waited over 10 minutes for my order. Not even a big deal, but annoying. They are always really slow. The thing that sent me over the edge was my food. I ordered a pizza. Or, what they are calling a pizza. You guys, you guys....this thing was an insult to pizza. It's an insult to food, and I can't believe they serve it. The description on the menu says: "a thin individual size 8 inch wheat crust" pizza. So, I expected a personal size, wheat crust pizza. What I got was a 6 in (maybe) tortilla with an almost imperceptible amount of tomato paste (maybe? it had literally no taste) and almost no cheese...heated up. Then, toppings were just sprinkled on top and not even cooked. I saw it before I left the store but couldn't even say anything. You know what they charge you for this? $7.50. Yep. $7.50 for a tortilla they sprinkled toppings on. This is the laziest excuse for cooking I've almost ever seen. I'm so irritated about it that I almost don't know if I can go back, even though I have loved this place in the past. I think the picture speaks for itself. If you ordered pizza at a restaurant and this came out, what would you do?

Andrea R.

Yelp
I ended up eating here twice in 2 days..mainly because I was setting up for an event at East End Urban Market across the street and there didn't seem to be too many other choices in the immediate area. However, there was plenty on the menu to choose from so I was a happy camper. Day 1: Veggie tacos. Tortillas stuffed with avocados, other veggies, and a bit of feta cheese. While certainly not the best tacos I've ever had, they definitely hit the spot. Day 2: I wasn't as healthy this time around and opted for the thin crust pizza. I went with the pesto pizza topped with mushrooms and grilled chicken, but I asked for extra mushrooms instead of grilled chicken. It was the perfect portion size for 1 and very crispy...just the way I like it. Once again, not the best pizza I've ever had, but hit the spot. Besides having pretty good food, Bohemeo's also has a pretty cool vibe. And if you can brave the Houston heat you can score a seat on their patio. There was no patio seating for me on this trip thanks to the soaring temperatures, but perhaps when I'm back in December.

Yelp
I came here recently while following Pancho Clause, during a filming of a documentary. Bohemeo's just happened to be one of the stops that had a gift collection box. I was able to meet the owner, Lupe. He is a great guy and very friendly. This coffee shop is a mix of everything. First, it is a coffee shop, with free wi-fi for studying. At night it changes into a chilled lounge, with a stage and music. On certain nights there are live bands that come. All the time it is an art gallery showing off many local artists. The first tuesday of every month there is a new opening. Also you can EAT, they serve all kinds of foods such as pizzas. If you're ever in this area this is a MUST STOP.

Yelp
Bohemeo's is close to my work and a beloved lunch spot for some of my co-workers. There's a bit of a hipster feel to the place, with the decorations and outdoor patio area. The inside is small with a stage for the weekly night performances, which I still want to check out! For food and drink, I've had coffee, the chicken nachos and fish tacos. My favorite of the three is the chicken nachos, which is big enough to share or have to yourself as a meal. Pay a little extra for some avocados on top of your nachos, it's worth it! Fish tacos are on special on Fridays too and they don't skimp on the fish.

Yelp
Super fun and great tasting food! Food came fast .Jazz music was really good and the have fast wifi. Smoking area outside on their two beautiful patios. Prices are affordable the vibe is just great. I believe it is family owned. Not sure but it sure feels like a family owned business. Can't wait to come back again

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem of a place. It oozes a Houston vibe in the most East End way. You'll find this place serving local Fontana Coffee and local beer on-tap from our favorites like Karbach, Saint Arnold's, and No Label. They even have Leprechaun cider on tap. There is plenty of seating at this business. You'll find quite a few tables inside with a couch. Outside there's even more seating with two large patios (all covered from the hot Houston sun). Be proud Second Ward!

Yelp
A perfect neighborhood coffee shop, and so much more! If Bohemeo's was just my local coffee shop, it would still earn five stars. Everything else it offers just goes above and beyond. 8 local and/or craft draught beer options (~$4-$8) as well as a sizable bottle collection (12oz to 36+oz) The coffee here is simple and great, as things should be; with quality main ingredients, you don't need a bunch of fluff to dress it up. They do make one blended ice coffee drink that I love, it's been solely responsible for getting me out of bed on more occasions than I care to admit. Very capable, knowledgeable and cute baristas. With two stages, one indoors and one out, Bohemeo's does a number of different types of shows, from poetry readings to musical performances to open mic. They also throw art shows and have a community bulletin board for fliers. Their food menu is rather expansive for such a small kitchen. Salads, sandwiches, pizzas, on top of dessert and little coffee shop pastries in the case up front. Fish tacos (2for$5, 3for$6) are also super popular and excellent. Just the right amount of spice for almost any palate! A couple couches and ~8 little tables inside, surrounding a stage they use for shows, readings, etc. A side patio with six tables (w/ several power outlets!) Back patio with twelve 4-tops under cover surrounding the outdoor stage (perfect place to set up with your friends for a lazy afternoon, or with your laptop for productive evening), and a couple picnic tables and stone benches on grass around a fountain (can anyone say 'late-afternoon-first-date-coffee-with-that-girl-you -just-met-on-your-bicycle'?) So come, have a beverage, relax in the shade, hang out. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
I liked this place very much. I didn't fall in love with it as much as I wanted to. I ordered an iced chai and it was pretty amazing. The lady actually forgot about it, but when I went to remind her she offered a free muffin, and that pleased me enough. The food took such a long time to arrive. I got a veggie burger and it was so so so salty! Its been hours since I've left and I can still taste the salt in my tongue. Before I left I took a chai latte to go. It taste better cold. The decor is okay. Cool place to hang out with friends. The paintings that hang in the wall are for sell too. So if you see one you like, buy at the spot. They change up every week. I problaby wont be returning. But I do recommend to check it out.

Yelp
Really cool find on the eastside of town! Stopped in for coffee and lunch and wasn't really sure what to expect (as I'm not familiar with the area whatsoever). This place reminds me of a lot of the independent coffee shops in Austin - awesome patio, good coffee, art, healthy dishes and no bs. I had the iced hazelnut w/ soy and an Asian salad w/ grilled chicken. Everything was made very well, served in a surprisingly large portions and inexpensive. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
I came in today and I had a wonderful time chatting with one of the owners while sipping some of their fresh brews. I was excited to hear they have artists and musicians to add to their cute cafe. The speciality coffee was delicious and the staff were delightful as they took my order. Though this cafe is tucked away, it's worth GPS'ing! I will definitely be back for the menu items and another latte!

Yelp
Great coffee shop. I had the fish taco and the shrimp taco with house-made red salsa and they were both awesome. The coffee was top notch as well. I wish I could've sampled the beer list - plenty of tasty choices, and the music was perfect. The place has plenty of quirky charm and character and everyone there - whether an employee or a patron - was friendly. Thanks to the other reviewer that called it a hippy place because that made it more enticing to me. I loved it!

Yelp
Some friends and I had planned to hit up the Thai place across the street for an early lunch, but since they were not open at 11am we went here instead. All of us liked the food alright, but none of us were amazingly impressed. I had the meatball sub, which was good, but how does it compete with what I can get at Subway or $2 cheaper? Well... it's better... but smaller. It was probably healthier being that it was served on a wheat bread. Overall the sandwich was higher quality than subway and it came with a bag of sun chips all for about $7. I might come back for an open mic night at some point, we'll see... It's a good place to go if you want to support a small independent coffee shop who's existence is probably doing good things for the area. I think they have free wi-fi too! But, I don't see myself becoming a regular.

Yelp
Great selection of beers for sure! Grilled Cheese was good but the Tomato Soup was not hot and a bit salty by itself but was good for dipping my Grilled Cheese! I'll come back for sure . Kinda reminds me of some of the cool coffee shops you find in NYC. #digtheholeinthewalls
