"Curated used vinyl shop ensures you're bound to end up with something good. Its a great shop to spend half hour and walk out with 3 records you didn't plan on getting, Issac Hayes on our last 2 visits." - Swords-Smith

Great shop with attention to detail. Small selection but very well curated and fair pricing. Not a pretentious place at all. Really about the music. Clothing/incense is dope, owner and staff very friendly + knowledgeable. Can’t recommend it enough!

it may be modest in size, but it is mighty in every other respect. beautiful, airy space makes it one of my favorite places to dig. the staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. cool merch. genre notes on every single poly sleeve is a huge plus!

They play music on Altec A7’s. Instant 5 star. Great vibes.

Very underrated gem especially if you're into reggae. I would argue that almost all of their records are at least VG+ or NM/M so you don't have to worry about getting scratchy records. Owner is also very chill and is down for a conversation or to answer any questions you have. I would definitely recommend!

Just a delightful store. The owner is very friendly and will assist with any questions. If you are into incense make sure to pick up some Kuumba Japanese incense (I believe this is the only store in NYC that sells it). I really like the “Obama” scent. Fig & Dr. Pepper are also standouts.

Great record shop a few blocks away from the Marcy (J) stop. They have a great selection from Funk, Soul and Jazz to Hip Hop and Blues. The shop does a great job making sure theres a new selection almost every week and the Owner had no problem giving me a good reco. Incense selection ain't bad neither.

Really great selection of hip hop, jazz, funk, soul, and more. A good mix of new records, esoteric oldies, essentials, and choice 45s. There's also a big $5 and under bin and most things I've gotten from it have been in decent to great condition even, which is totally not the case for all bargain bin records everywhere. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. The merch is clean af, and they're the only "in good graces" reseller of Kuunba incense in the US. so get yo wax up, get yo drip up, and get yo smell up.
