Tough and long hike! Intended on a sunrise hike so we started when it was dark. Saw spectacular views once we were going down. Lots of beautiful landscapes, fruit trees, etc.. At the peak it was all clouds and fog :( Going down was extra Extra tough on the knees! Especially Jacob’s ladder!
Wouldn’t do it again (😬) but I’m so proud I accomplished it, in its’ entirety. Oh getting to the starting point was tough! The road was very rough 😵💫😫

Away from the hustle and bustle of life and into pure nature.
Scenic views at every turn. Indigenous plants only unique to Jamaica.
Temp was 11c, didn't sweat once while there. Water was Ice cold if you ask me.
The trail was long, arduous, hard on the knees and feet. Reaching the peak was worth it. Very satisfying and breathtaking.
Major Letdown: GARBAGE along the trails and at cabin. Very disheartening to see just beauty being disregarded like that.

We enjoyed the mountains so much, it’s as if you can touch them. Just breathe in the fresh and clean air. Hills are filled with Majestic water falls with crystal clear waters, fun Bicycles rides and awesome/ yummy Jamaican food are very well worth the trip.

Marvellous sceneries and challenging uphill hike. All in one. To bad the linking roads aren’t in well condition sometimes completely inaccessible.

A place like no other in the world-with the perfect scenery and amazing views-to get away from it all. There is also a spot called the Blue Mountain Cafe-that offers the infamous and Signature Coffee and one that will set the mood right-as you embark on a beautiful journey. Enjoy! I know that I did certainly did.

Drive from Kingston to Ocho Rios on the relatively new T3 Toll Highway through the mountains and it was smooth sailing through the mountains all the way!

A truly transcendental experience. The transient tiredness is replaced with views of endless bliss. The journey provides times for reflection and self discovery.
Dress comfortably and as light as possible. Take plenty hydration.
Avoid over packing.
Sweat pants and a sweater.
