Blue Bottle Coffee

Heard a lot about this coffee shop and it definitely lived up to the hype. Super unique flavors. I got like a black pepper cardamom latte and it was so creamy and spicy. I was pleasantly surprised.

Ditch the mainstream and enjoy a real cup of coffee in the city, rich flavor and aroma. The NOLA blend has become my favorite and go to, but there is just so much more that's always a tough choice.

So, the coffee is good. Prices are New York Prices. What I do not like, that even though I was the only guest, that I still had to wait for 10 minutes for a cappuccino due to some online orders I guess. Location is prime.

Worst service ever very slow. I ordered the caffè mocha it was very gross and the croissant it was hard as rock. I asked them to heat it up, but they said no they don’t have even a microwave to heat it!!!

This is one of my most visited blue bottle coffee shops as the location is great - right across the Bryant Park and near a subway stop. This coffee shop is so easy to visit, for both locals and tourists. I always like to order my all-time favorite drinks, iced New Orleans coffee. They really do a great job on this one so I highly recommend. I was there just yesterday and the AC was down. I wish there were more seats inside the shop - it’s quite small and not a very ideal option if your looking to find a place to sit and hang out with friends.

Update 12/1/2024 Don’t bother asking for a bathroom, even if you are pregnant and making a $50+ purchase. Besides being wildly incompetent, apparently their employees also don’t possess bladders. Amazing. ————- Despite being a chain, Blue Bottle serves some of the most consistently delicious coffee in the city. Unfortunately, this location has service issues I haven't found in other locations. Came in to refill my take-home cold brews. The server wasn't even aware they sold them. Then, she declined to refill my existing glass bottles. This was odd because their Broad Street location never made an issue. So instead of taking 30 seconds, I had to wait several minutes for her to find, fill, and label new bottles. A bit frustrating when you have a train to catch and it could have been way easier for everyone. I hope this location will start train its staff to exercise common sense and not be flummoxed by reasonable requests.

One of the best iced mochas I ever had. They used actual real chocolate. Only negative is they don't do anything larger than 16oz. It left me wanting more. This is a must if you enjoy coffee and are near Bryant Park.

What a terrible little coffee shop. No drip coffee though that's not necessarily a bad thing. On the days you are in a hurry, however, your choice for a normal coffee is basically an Americano or to wait for the press thing which is about 10 minutes. The decor and ambience at this location is quite undesirable. Pastry selection is good, but wouldn't recommend this spot.

Had Blue Bottle a lot when I lived in LA, but this was my first time getting it in NYC! The New Orleans Ice Latte was perfect for a hot summer day! I loved the roasted chicory root cause it gives it an "earthy" and almost bitter taste and overall it wasn't too sweet. Coffee and oat milk were mixed well. They make all their drinks with oat milk, but almond milk is available on request. This particular location was spacious because of its tall ceilings. Some high top seating is available. I really appreciated the smiley and friendly staff because after a long wait, the last thing I want to deal with is a grumpy barista. Drinks came out after a reasonable wait time!

$5.50 for an iced americano, served in the same cups as hot coffee. No tops that can actually be used with a straw without it breaking. Feels like cafes are charging more and offering less. Hard pass.

Recently visited Manhattan and stopped by Blue Bottle a couple times: neither of which disappointed! The first time I ordered a decaf Americano, which came out quickly and was very tasty. The second time I ordered the drip coffee at the recommendation of the barista, and it was also fantastic. I love its proximity to Bryant Park (and the hotel I was staying at haha) and the fact that they open 30 minutes earlier than the surrounding coffee shops. I'm a bit of an introvert and crowds aren't really my thing, so when I traveled to Manhattan for a few days last week for work, I did all my sight seeing in the early morning hours. So thankful that BB opens at 6:30! The prices are fair, coffee is good, and service is fast. I imagine the busier times may take a lot longer, and the shop is very small. Anything more than 15 or 20 customers at once and it will be CROWDED. But, for an early morning coffee stop ahead of a walk around the park, it was PERFECT. I even got a mug to bring back with me to California.

Love stopping by when I'm in the Bryant Park vicinity or during a lunch break. Service is fast and friendly and there are a few counter seating chairs for a little rest. Take your drink and browse the holiday market at Bryant Park or the lights along 5th.

Every single time I come here there are wild eyed lines of people waiting for their drinks. Service is slow as molasses for this far from a cheap coffee. The scowling crew that work behind the counter emanate bad vibes, as the check out person is oblivious to the people waiting, preferring to focus on arguing with Chinese tourists who expected more milk. Every time I ask myself why, hopefully next time I'll ask before I waste an hour of my life waiting for two coffees

Modern coffee shop. Ordered the Nola. Coffee was good. Liked the chicory infused in the coffee. Coffee was good but not great.

Absolutely delicious espresso and they also make AMAZING matcha. There is no interior seating which is a bummer, but the aesthetic inside is definitely nice. The wait for the coffee was about on average as other coffee shops in the area. I loved the taste of their drinks but do wish there was an extra espresso shot as it tasted slightly on the milkier side. I am glad they automatically use oat milk as their default milk though and love that there is no upcharge. The staff was friendly but busy, as this place is well known. I will be back but will definitely be asking for an extra shot next time!

A lil on the spendy side but delicious cup of joe. Never disappoints. Good selection of whole beans and merch as well.

Coffee from Blue Bottle very tasty.Tried latte with almond milk and next day with oatmeal milk.Both have great taste.Service was quick and nice.Will back again.
