"Blue Bottle is a top-notch coffee roaster and café with a sustainable ethos, in multiple locations throughout NYC. Our picks: The siphon filter and the New Orleans iced coffee. There are currently two outposts in Brooklyn."

Google
If you like strong coffee than this one is for you, but it gets better because coffee is premium and imported from only the best. It’s so good I order two coffees. The cappuccino 🤌 and the golden hour

Google
Blue Bottle Coffee in Manhattan never disappoints! The atmosphere is calm, minimal, and inviting — perfect for a quiet moment, catching up on work, or meeting with friends. The coffee itself is top-notch; you can really taste the quality and care they put into every cup. I ordered a New Orleans iced coffee and it was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations without feeling pushy. Definitely one of my go-to coffee spots in the city. Highly recommend for any coffee lover visiting Manhattan!

Google
I live this branch because you can enjoy their delicious coffee on the Bryant Park which is an amazing park with great views!

Google
This is the best iced latte I’ve ever had! My go-to order is an iced latte with caramel syrup and oat milk, and this one was absolutely perfect smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely my favorite!

Ditch the mainstream and enjoy a real cup of coffee in the city, rich flavor and aroma. The NOLA blend has become my favorite and go to, but there is just so much more that's always a tough choice.

Google
Heard a lot about this coffee shop and it definitely lived up to the hype. Super unique flavors. I got like a black pepper cardamom latte and it was so creamy and spicy. I was pleasantly surprised.

Google
This is one of my most visited blue bottle coffee shops as the location is great - right across the Bryant Park and near a subway stop. This coffee shop is so easy to visit, for both locals and tourists. I always like to order my all-time favorite drinks, iced New Orleans coffee. They really do a great job on this one so I highly recommend. I was there just yesterday and the AC was down. I wish there were more seats inside the shop - it’s quite small and not a very ideal option if your looking to find a place to sit and hang out with friends.

Google
One of the best iced mochas I ever had. They used actual real chocolate. Only negative is they don't do anything larger than 16oz. It left me wanting more. This is a must if you enjoy coffee and are near Bryant Park.

Thorn N.

Yelp
I dislike long lines, when I arrive in front I am disappointed, I invested my time in something so mediocre. However I understand the line for this coffee. It is on the path off the D train in Bryant Park, making it accessible for people to stop on their way to work to get coffee. I ordered the pour over coffee and I NEVER want to see Starbucks again. No aftertaste or that awful "coffee bite" in the back of your throat, after drinking black coffee, just a smooth beverage that you can't stop drinking. I'm not a coffee drinker but this company convinced me to give coffee a try. I like my coffee black no cream, no sugar, just jet fuel please.

Donielle M.

Yelp
Had an amazing cappuccino here and all I can say, is this is a high quality bean! Service was great. They were patient to explain to me the differences between the choices I had and I opted for a decaf cousin with oatmilk. It was nice and creamy, a perfect choice! Always a treat when stopping here.

Bianca T.

Yelp
The speed of service in this coffee shop is great. The workers are friendly. Please keep in mind this is a smaller location. If you are in a rush you will have to wait sometimes. The coffee was smooth. There is no bathroom here and limited seating. A nice spot if you like a more silent coffee shop.

Maria G.

Yelp
I've order Blue Bottle Coffee online and I really like this coffee so I was so excited to see my hotel in NY is like 5 minutes away from the coffee shop! Right across the street from Bryant Park, you will see the Blue Bottle sign. The inside is a simple clean look. I ordered a Saffron Vanilla Latte and it was sooooo yum! Sometimes I have to worry about decaf hurting my stomach because they will "chemically" get rid of the caffeine but Blue Bottle does a Swiss Water Process making it chemical-free . This is one of my favorite coffees!!

Michelle L.

Yelp
It's a small cafe with cute tiled floors and stools. My friend recommended that I try the NOLA coffee, which has a unique chicory taste. I liked it but wouldn't order it again. Workers were nice.

Christina K.

Yelp
What's your favorite coffee place in NYC? Mine is Blue Bottle Coffee. I know, it's a chain, but actually, to be specific, the one in Bryant Park has something unique about its flavor that beats the other locations. Anyway, open to try your favorite places, too. Thanks.

Ellen C.

Yelp
Yummy coffee just extremely overpriced. I ordered the Nola shakerato and it came out to almost $10.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
I am departing NYC with a Blue Bottle problem. Oh, how I wish I could go here every day for a perfectly made latte. The coffee is so smooth and has great flavor. I loved how they keep the drink menu short, but do what they do really well. Espresso is the star. They also have a small selection of pastries, but did not try any of those.

Frank T.

Yelp
The coffee is very smooth. Nutty, kinda sweet, not sugary sweet, and well rounded wrt to the acidity - not too sharp or bitter at any point, guessing this is a lighter roast. Apparently, baristas here have to 'graduate' with a test. However, my request of frothed milk in an iced Americana could not be done. While I acknowledge my snobbery in coffee, one of the perks of working from home has been having my perfect cup. My $6 coffee in the West end of the main floor of the Moynihan Station will have to do. Maybe I'll try the cold brew next time. Legit option for those looking for an alternative to Starbs or dunkin.

Chris J.

Yelp
I understand this is a chain coffee shop and i went to a New York location, but the coffee was really not that good and it was way too expensive. It took the workers along time to make the drink and when it came out it was not worth the wait

Joey T.

Yelp
Hard to find!! It's underground and you enter where the rockefeller plaza seating is... Coffee was really amazing and strong!! The coffee shop is heavily catered to businesses that are open down there during the weekdays.

Pieter K.

Yelp
From San Francisco and there they are one of my favs. Was stoked to see them here in NYC. You can never go wrong with Blue Bottle. Selections are kept to manageable #'s, the people working there were super nice and my Nola was sooooo good. Go to Blue Bottle Bottle. Don't waste your money on that starstuff big corporate black liquid....

Anand C.

Yelp
Exponentially one of the better coffee place near Bryant park. Skip all the others which are near to the park, not worth the wait and price. I'll recommend to get their drip coffee variations. Baristas are friendly but do tend get engrossed in their own world when making coffee. Only negative is their tiny lobby with limited seating space. Hurts in winter but other times you can just grab one on the go and enjoy it at the park.

Athena A.

Yelp
As you make your way to the New York Public Library, take a moment to appreciate the vibrant energy of Bryant Park. And if you're in need of a caffeine boost, this charming café is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, enveloping you in a warm embrace. With every sip of their carefully crafted coffee, you'll feel the rich, velvety flavors dancing on your taste buds, awakening every sense in your body. It's as if each sip is a burst of positivity, infusing you with a renewed sense of energy and purpose. While all their offerings are outstanding, the chocolate Nola is particularly special. The rich, velvety chocolate is perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness, creating a truly heavenly experience. Trust me, one sip and you'll feel as if you've been transported to a world of pure indulgence and delight. So if you're in search of a moment of bliss amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City, head to this café and indulge in their exceptional coffee creations.

Yelp
Food: - Drinks were good, haven't been to a blue bottle coffee I didn't like yet Service: -Staff were nice Ambiance: -Nice place to relax with friends and do some work.

Sunil R.

Yelp
Hey, another San Fran resident in NYC like me. I remember when they first opened in SF and there were lines around the block. Wasn't quite that bad but the line here was pretty long too.

Jia Z.

Yelp
I really like Blue Bottle drinks. I even like the simplicity and minimal design which is the essence of their culture.

Arthur S.

Yelp
Crazy busy all the time, to me this is just over priced coffee and you can get better coffee else where. Not much place to seat inside.

N N.

Yelp
Excellent place to unwind post a stroll in Central Park. The quick and praiseworthy service enhances the overall experience. The inviting ambiance further elevates the overall experience.

Maggie L.

Yelp
My new go to coffee brand! The quality of the coffee is good and stable. Very smoothy pairing with Italy oat milk. Their coffee bean won't be too bitter or too sour and I won't have acid reflux after one cup (compared to Starbucks) The location here is very convenient. Sometimes I buy a Angelina Mont Balnc and a blue bootle coffee and enjoy them in the park. What an indulgence!

Gabrielle W.

Yelp
I visited this coffee shop while on vacation in NYC. If you are looking for a wonderful latte in a no nonsense setting, this is the place to go. The coffee is so smooth, it does not require much if any added sweetness. The seating inside is limited, however it is located across from Bryant park which has plenty of sitting in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Sonu S.

Yelp
I was very excited to see a new coffee place as the Bergen town center doesn't have any, but the coffee is actually terrible. it is so bitter and sour. I don't get it.

Jason R.

Yelp
When in NYC, it's a MUST DO. That's all I need to say.

Denise M.

Yelp
I love going to blue bottle coffee and while we have a couple in the Bay Area, I wanted to see if the NY locations were any different. We tried the hojicha, sweet latte and new orleans. All of these were amazing and this location was definitely one of the smaller ones we visited. This is inside a mall so there is limited seating but definitely a great pick me up mid-day. The wait was longer than usual but it seems that it is just because they were really busy. If I were to rank the drinks I would definitely say that their new orleans and sweet latte were my favorite!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
I always try to visit this place with in New York. We started our day here with coffee and a pastry. The place is so bright, clean, and the service is always so wonderful. I will usually order a flavored latte, but here, I'll order just a latte, because it's so delicious on its own. Will be back.

Kate M.

Yelp
I came here on a weekday afternoon for a work coffee meeting. While it is very busy (line was out the door), the baristas work quickly. There is indoor little seating, but it's close enough to Bryant Park that you can enjoy it if the weather is nice. It's a pretty standard coffee shop menu, both in terms of food and drinks, but if you're in the area, it's a great option.

Darren L.

Yelp
Love their coffee. I used to live across from the Ferry Building in SF and there was never a time where there wasn't a line at Blue Bottle. Actually, there was one time nobody was in line - I happened to be passing by with no intention of getting coffee, but when I saw there was no wait, I had to go get a cup! I would never have done that for the Seattle-based coffee companies. Glad it's a lot closer than SF nowadays!

Duy C.

Yelp
This is nice and cozy coffee shop located next to 2 large libraries, which is ver convenient for us in the coffee break between study. The shop is kinda small, you may pass by it. It has limited seats which may accommodate up to 8-10 customers but the vibe here is very chilled. We ordered cold brew. We must say the quality of the coffee is good. The staff was very friendly. The only minus point is no restroom here.

Patrick B.

Yelp
// Summary A typical Blue Bottle experience, minus one of my favorite things you'd might expect if you went to a Blue Bottle in the Bay Area. // Experience I've been to this Blue Bottle location a couple of times, and it's pretty much the same quality coffee and espresso you'd expect at any Blue Bottle. Here's my one gripe...they don't have the liege waffle. I do unfortunately have to knock it down for that - especially since that was the breakfast I was most looking forward to. // Service My order was taken kindly and the baristas seemed to move things along pretty quickly. // Ambiance It's a narrow space. As with many coffee shops in midtown, this would not be a place where you'd sit down and do some work - but great for a "grab-and-go" for great coffee. // Convenience You may encounter a long line, and there's not much space inside for a line to form - so take that for what it is. It's right across Bryant Park and relatively easy to get to.

Yelp
If you like good coffee, or maybe you consider yourself a bit of an expert, you should try blue bottle coffee, you probably already know about it! It is a coffee snobs paradise as well as a regular coffee drinker's paradise. This is a small and very intimate location of the chain in NY, and it probably is very busy always. There was a line outside and it was a bit crowded inside, but the coffee is so good, and the flavor is always reliably excellent. Without fail, you can always get a good cup of coffee, a great latte, cortado, cold brew, cappucino, or chai lattes and matchas at this chain. The baristas were nice and friendly. And it was very clean and set up to be more distanced and safer than usual. TLDR; delicious coffee or drinks every time, always a pretty and clean environment.

Jake P.

Yelp
We tried coming to this Blue Bottle Coffee near Bryant Park where everywhere online and on the door the hours say closes at 6:00 PM. We show up at 5:15 PM and the employees were already closing up and locked the door. Then completely ignore us when we knock to come in to get coffee. There was no acknowledgement to closing order. I want to pay six dollars for a good latte but you have to get better at customer service and update your hours. Please do better.

Shana H.

Yelp
I made a quick stop here as I was in need of coffee, all black everything with a sprinkle of sugar. I was promptly greeted by the cashier who was super friendly and nice. I then ordered an all black and asked if they accept cash...the paper kind. After she let me know that they did, she waited patiently while I dug around my back and then wallet for exact change. I am very please with the service and the coffee is a bit above...just a bit above in terms of taste and strength. I love the facts that they offer coffee in so many styles. Great mid-morning beverage.

Florinda G.

Yelp
I kept reading reviews about Blue Bottle Coffee so I decided to check it out during my last day in NYC. The staff is stand-offish and exude that kind of hipster cool-kid vibe, lol. I know that sounds silly but they really do kinda just look and behave as if they're too cool to be kind and just seem to not have interest in the customer. I wasn't expecting that because usually coffee shop workers are down to earth and nice. Anyway, I got the Hot Nola with oat milk and it was just eh... $6 and I wasn't impressed. When I come back to the city i'll skip over this spot.

Cara T.

Yelp
I love the taste of Blue Bottle Coffee's espresso and thoroughly enjoyed my iced latte here today! This location is right next to Bryant Park and centrally located in Midtown. It was pretty crowded when I was here, but the workers did a great job of moving the line along quickly! The only reason I didn't give this spot 5 stars is the lack of seating. There were only about 6 chairs and it was counter seating (no tables). If you are looking for a place to sit and do work and drink some coffee, this isn't the place. It is good for grab and go, and would be nice in the summer because you can bring your coffee to Bryant Park and sit at one of the tables there! Overall, I wouldn't set out to go here, but if you are passing by, it is a nice place to get come coffee! NOTE: they have paper straws here! If you are not a fan of them, like me, make sure to bring your own reusable straw!

William K.

Yelp
I think it's slightly overhyped but it's 5/5 coffee. It is much better than Starbucks for sure. If you believe in premium coffee this is a place to go. It is great for tourists. Tip: Get a photo for your gram. All for the gram. Pro Tip: Try Stumptown Coffee if you are in NYC or Portland. Don't get me wrong this place is the 2nd favorite coffee place out of 948273 coffee places I have been to. Follow me on Instagram @willeatfood

Natasha F.

Yelp
The customer service is really, really horrible. The food is awful and overpriced. The keen green smoothie is watery and bland. They barely added any almond butter and it is Way overpriced at $10. The women behind the counter talked amongst themselves instead of preparing the food that was ordered. They talked and talked and talked. Again, all of this is not worth the price. The main cashier was incredibly rude and should be fired.

Silvia L.

Yelp
I don't really understand why Blue Bottle Coffee is hot these years. They are good but not that good. It's worthy to stop by if one of shops is on the way but not worthy a special visit.

Rosalita C.

Yelp
Best coffee in town! I also enjoyed the meat and cheese baguette! We bought our coffee at the Penn Station location.

Sreekar K.

Yelp
This is very accessible to bryant park but i found it a little expensive when compared to other coffee shops around! $11 for a cappuccino and almond croissant - probably its because as a Canadian after conversion, it comes to $14 which is a lot and high end coffee shops in Toronto doesn't cost that much Anyways besides the pricing, loved their cappuccino and so is their almond croissant , they do have about 4-5 seating. Also the customer service was good Very attentive and makes the coffee to the perfection especially the art on top of it shows it how much they care about the business and employees.

Marina B.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, insanely delicious coffee and located right opposite a cute park. I don't see a reason not to love this place. Their pastries looked delicious, too. Can't wait to try them next time!

Darya S.

Yelp
Blue Bottle has struck the perfect balance between hipster and trendy vibes, and is very popular among the silicon valley crowd. You walk in and it's like a show to watch your coffee be made. It's very crowded and even to get a drip coffee, it takes about sixteen years from the time that you order until you actually get it. Ours was taking so long that I was about to approach the baristas and ask for an update, but my friend stopped me and said, "No! You're not supposed to do that here!" I laughed but now, I get it. You're supposed to let them work on their art and drink your coffee when they bestow it upon you. I got a cafe au lait made with their house blend, 3 Africa. It's about twice the price of anywhere else what's the coffee is so good and you can certainly tell the difference between the quality here versus other places nearby. If you're okay to skip the bathroom, wait about 10 minutes for your coffee, and pay over $4 for small cup, treat yourself to Blue Bottle, especially if you're a connoisseur of sorts.

Albert K.

Yelp
Good coffee - consistent with the ones in the Bay Area. The lattes are well done and strong - the size for an iced latte is incredibly small though.

Adrienna Y.

Yelp
I popped in with a friend for a warm drink on a December day and was surprised to see Hojicha on the menu. The Hojicha latte was passable. I liked that it wasn't too sweet and the latte art was beautiful. I tasted more sediment than expected, but I'm not sure if that was because I'd subbed oat milk or because of the hojicha powder used. Still, it was refreshing to see some coffee alternatives at a large chain like Blue Bottle and I would return to try their other offerings.

Theresa D.

Yelp
Convenient location near the NYPL. Very efficient and friendly service and a good latte.

Ilwoo H.

Yelp
This is my favorite go to place for coffee. Always deadly delicious coffee. I never got disappointed with blue bottle coffee. I've been try a lot of different locations and I can tell you that this place was smaller than where I've been to. Very clean and cute small place with limited seat. There's no restroom because of private building. If you want use restroom should go near any of public places as Brayan park or Starbucks or Macdonald or etc.. My favorite coffee is latte in here. The barista was amazing great job with my coffee. All the staffs were very accommodating. I will definitely go back to this place again as much as I can while stay in NY.

Mike G.

Yelp
Always high quality coffee that is tasty, strong, and fresh. I always get the pout overs. I would recommend this place if you like real tasting coffee.

Sophia S.

Yelp
I love Cappuccinos here, perfect milk to coffee ratio which other coffee places tend to mess up.

Karina Q.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this coffee for so long so one of my friends told me that i have to visit this specific location since they make the best blue bottle coffee but ngl i was disappointed... the coffee is not strong at all and very milky for me :(

Nattaphon P.

Yelp
The blue bottle coffee provides variety of coffee. From espresso to drip coffee. I really enjoy it.
