Google
Blip has great coffee for those who enjoy coffee. I ended up coming for a pop up from Slow Rise who makes amazing Sourdough Donuts. I ended up getting there 30 mins early just to be first, so worth it. Their prices were high at the time ~$4 each. Both Savory & Sweet options either are absolutely delicious. Blip had Fast Service and friendly staff. Overall a great place for coffee but definitely come when they do random pop ups :)

Google
Blip coffee roasts their own bean and they totally own their own unique vibe which is centered around a motorcycle theme. With plenty of seating and big tables this spot makes for a fun and unique experience. The cortado was served in a big cup but I won’t let that impact my score too much. Visit this place. It’s a good spot.

Google
Honey lavender oat latte was grand, vanilla latte was grand both not overly sweet. Pastry was great and coated with I think maple or honey. Very cool esthetic, open, and chill vibe. Parking lot on west side of building, street parking on east side. Wheelchair accessible from west side, changing tables in bathrooms. Outdoor patio on north end of building. Great local coffee shop with plenty of seating options.

Google
I’ll be honest, this coffee shop is incredible. The staff is super cool and it’s a great place to relax in the golden dusty light of the west bottoms. My favorite coffee shop in the world.

Google
Such an amazing space. really lovely coffee. Family friendly. Big. Spacious. Easy parking. Off the beaten path. And a motorcycle heaven. Lovely selection of helmets to go with your coffee. And what coffee shop has a diaper changing station in the bathroom.

Amanda Wooldridge

Google
Big open space with tons of versatile seating. Great to chat with friends, read, get some work done, etc. Vibes are great, the staff is cool and helpful and coffee is delicious.

We were in town for an event at Union Station and decided to stop by for an afternoon coffee. It was so good! The young lady that was working helping me pick out a specialty flavor. The shop is fun and unique, I wish I had taken some photos! My husband enjoyed his coffee as well. We will be stopping by again the next time we are in KC!

Google
Okay so that donut was GOOD! I been coming here sporadically since I don’t know, 2016? I kept seeing these stickers around and was curious and finally stopped in one day. This place is awesome! I come here for coffee and I get coffee, that’s all AND it’s good coffee. So thank you Blip for being around. I came in last week and that’s when it dawned on me how awesome this place is, the service, the atmosphere the whole vibe of it all. I’ll be here more often.

Yelp
Honestly, probably the coolest place for coffee. I don't even want to write this review, because most of us like to gate-keep the things we want to keep as is. I'm a coffee snob. In KC, I really enjoy coffee from The Roasterie. Mildred's coffee is okay, but it's not worth the hassle of parking downtown. Filling Station, Thou Mayest, and Messenger Coffee are overrated. I could go on. What I expect from a basic, house-blend espresso is a smooth, balanced flavor that isn't too acidic or dark. If dairy is added, the coffee flavor has to still be present! I ordered a latte (comes with a double shot of espresso) with oat milk, and after my first sip, I was like, "Welp kids, that's it. This is my spot." The coffee is a bit pricey, but if you're able to support a local business, I'd recommend them. The building is gorgeous, there's private/off-street parking on the Woodsweather Rd side, and there's wifi for those looking for a work spot. It's also not super loud, which is great for those that get overstimulated easily. Keep in mind: at around 10:15 AM on the Monday I went, they ran a vacuum in the area around their roaster. It lasted about 15 minutes. They also seemed to be pretty busy from 10:30 AM to 1 PM.

Yelp
I love blip roasters and I always grab a coffee here when I'm in the west bottoms. The owner is really friendly and I love how they have a "shop dog". They care about the coffee they put out and will take their time to get it right. Every time I have been, it hasn't been too busy but I like the vibe and could definitely get some work done there. It's got a bike/skate urban vibe but keep it simple which is nice. I will continue to come here when I'm in the area.

Chelsey V.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for a hosted event and OMG! Love the burritos, had both veggie and meat, delicious! The space is large and incredibly diverse, love the plants and the little shop they have inside is so cool. Loved the separate event style space and was a great host for the event we went on..patio is spacious and has amazing sunlight..definitely a must!

Vaidehi C.

Yelp
I loved my visit to Blip Roasters! It has a cool, relaxed vibe and is in the West Bottoms. The best part is they roast their own coffee beans and use them to make all their drinks, which makes it special. The space has a big warehouse setup, with a coffee shop in the front and an area in the back for parties or weddings. I ordered a cortado, and it was really good. It is pet friendly, and the staff is really courteous. I'd give the whole experience a 10/10!!!

Lori R.

Yelp
What a great new place to explore. Reminds me so much of old LoDo in Denver. A welcoming environment with kind faces and smiles. It was fantastically clean and family friendly. I ordered my normal, iced Carmel latte with almond milk and it was fantastic. I love the off street parking too. The area is super safe too! My only feedback would be to have more food options, they are all out of pastries and had limited items on the menu.

anyi l.

Yelp
Cool place. Very "Motor city vibes". Coffee was very good and they have tons of space. It's quiet enough to be there working or just hanging out. Their food menu only have a couple of options.

Sergio S.

Yelp
Amazing coffee shop in the west bottoms. Plenty of space for you to explore the biker themed coffee shop. They have seasonal drinks which makes it fun to revisit. No up charge for alternative milk! Vegan friendly

Sharon K.

Yelp
Blip roasters is a really cool space that fuses coffee, motorcycles, and other merchandise! The ambiance presents an industrial charm and the space itself is quite spacious with plenty of open seating. This would be a great study spot. They also have a vintage photo booth that works, if you wanted to snap some pictures with friends. The coffee itself tasted great. We ordered the oat milk latte, iced banana latte, and bourbon vanilla draft latte. All options were solid, but I highly recommend the banana latte. It highlighted the banana flavor in a subtle, non-artificial way. The bourbon vanilla draft latte had a very strong aroma of bourbon, which caught me by surprise. I personally do not like bourbon too much, but for those that do, I think you would enjoy this drink! The croissants here are amazing. We tried both the almond croissant and the regular croissant. I haven't enjoyed a croissant this much in a while. There was a chewiness aspect to the croissant that was so good. It was perfectly flaky and buttery as well. Whether you're a motorcycle enthusiast or just a coffee lover looking for a cool atmosphere, this place is a must-visit.

Haley W.

Yelp
Such a cool coffee shop located in the West Bottoms. Huge open concept space with half dedicated to motorcycle gear and the other for tables to relax and enjoy your coffee at. I personally love coming here to study as there are lots of tables and good internet access. Nice blend of people that come in so don't be timid if you aren't a motorcycle person (I can't say that I am), but still such a nice space! Pro tip, order the breakfast burrito with chorizo it is delicious!

Sami A.

Yelp
Probably the most unique coffee house I've been too. Has an interesting motor city type vibe. Very big space with tons of seating. The hot caramel latte is delicious. The iced mocha was very good as well. Highly recommended.

Virginia M.

Yelp
We have now visited Blip twice and it has quickly become my favorite coffee shop. I wish it was closer to me so I could go all the time. The first time we went back near the holidays and I had a Black Forest Latte. The cherry flavor, sweetness and it was sooooo smooth. The second time I wanted to try one of the specials but due to the chocolate they used having soy I couldn't drink it. So the barista recommended just a traditional mocha and it was soooo delicious. The space where blip is, is so open and spacious. No sitting on top of people or being in their business. This will be on my list any morning I am headed to the river market.

Jordan H.

Yelp
Just moved out here from Santa Monica. This looks and feels like my favorite coffee shop back home deus ex machina. was extremely happy to find this place.

ervin c.

Yelp
Great coffee chill spot to come to highly recommend and they accept all kinds of people

Lucy T.

Yelp
One of the best shops in KC. A personal favorite for laid back atmosphere, quiet working space, and killer espresso.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I love this hidden gem of a coffee shop. Located a little off the beaten path in the West Bottoms, this is the kind of place you have to know you are going to in order to find it. That being said, I knew Blip was in the West Bottoms so after a morning meeting I made a point of looking it up and grabbing a coffee before I headed back south. When you arrive, you'll notice there are two entrances, which is really convenient depending on where you end up parking. There is street parking out front and around back you'll find a small parking lot. For a late weekday morning it wasn't too busy so I was able to snag a spot in the lot and walk in through the back door. I was kind of amazed at the size of this cafe. It's really large, with two spacious rooms to spread out. There were some folks working and I took note, as working from a cafe is something I tend to do from time to time. I got the vibe that the space was pup friendly as the woman in line before me had her dog in tow and before I knew it I found myself chatting away with both her and the barista. Both were more than happy to make recommendations and point me in the right direction in terms of which iced coffee to select. I had one of their seasonal offerings and honestly it was one of the best I've had in KC in a while. Not too sweet, while still adding a bit of pizzazz to your morning joe that makes it fun to grab a coffee while out and about. Overall, the friendliness and unpretentious nature of this place really stood out to me, and I can't wait to return!

Lindsey L.

Yelp
At Blip, you'll find some of the best coffee, staff and vibes in Kansas City. (Try their seasonal drinks, Draft lattes and cascara tea!) They are a business that embodies their values: community, loyalty, coffee and motorcycles. For my department at work, I organized "coffee hours" at Blip and it's become something my coworkers and I look forward to every month! Their space is huge (inquire about reserving room for meetings or events!) and since they are located in the West Bottoms, there's always ample parking. Customers can use the RDY app to order ahead. RDY uses your geo-location to make sure drinks are ready when you arrive. Thank you Blip. KC is blessed to have you.

Yelp
Community. Coffee. Motorcycles. Blip Roasters is a modern & spacious coffee shop in the historic West Bottoms of Kansas City. I ordered a cinnamon roll, latte, and a rounded up a tip for a total of $10! The cinnamon roll was massive, sweet, & mouthwatering. This is a great spot to work remote because of how open the environment is. Blip Roasters has plenty of tables and seating areas. When I visited, there were even some group meetings going on! While you are there, purchase some take home coffee beans or coffee merchandise from their small shop! Haven't checked out this coffee shop in KC yet? Add to your KC bucket list!

Erica G.

Yelp
I am blown away by how awesome this place is! I had no idea what to expect going to a motorcycle themed coffee shop but I was so pleasantly surprised. Everything was fantastic! I got a vanilla latte with oat milk (no upcharge for alternative milks, by the way!!!!!!), and it was delicious. They had pastries and breakfast burritos as well, which I will need to go back and try because I'm sure they're to die for! The baristas were wonderful and helpful and made me feel more than welcome. The atmosphere is so neat, with an area selling shop merch as well as motorcycle helmets, jackets, etc., and then couches and comfortable seating on the other side by the bar. Also, it's clear they support all KC sports, because a KC Current flag was hanging up. I LOVE to see that! I will definitely be making more trips to Blip in the near future.

Bob V.

Yelp
Love this place. Great atmosphere, cool peeps, great stuff to look at on the walls! Looking forward to many more visits!

Jessica C.

Yelp
Vanilla Lavender Latte What?! Yes!!!! It was like a warm kiss. So good. I learned they have a lot of their flavor things and whatnot done in house. For instance, they get the fruit from the coffee plant to make their iced tea and then make their (idk if it's a syrup or they add their strawberries directly in?) It's all done in house though and that is super cool. Support local, duh, ESPECIALLY when they're doing it "right". Staff behind the counter were so welcoming and informative. I was in to check out some music for their newly added soulful Sunday shows they have going on. It was an awesome experience. Again, I didn't know anyone but was able to chat up with a few local artists who were chilling at a table. The only comment I have, which is sort of a bummer is the sound was a wee bit off. Like, it was challenging to hear when folks were talking on the mic. I'm not sure if this is something the establishment would have anything to do with or just those who are performing? It was a really cool spot and as I mentioned the coffee and iced tea were both on point. They had moto helmets for sale, like, all sorts of cool ones (I know nothing of them but they looked cool and hearing dude inform customer taught me as well), they had a little shop set up of items and food, there were a few food items that I was later disappointed I didn't partake in. But anyway, cool spot for sure!

Sabrina S.

Yelp
I came here to try the new seasonal menu and enjoyed the cafe de olla cold brew! Blip is a great space to bring friends and relax while drinking a good cup of coffee! I am excited to try their breakfast menu!

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Very good coffee. Motorcycle coffee house. You don't need a motorcycle to go though. Worth a visit for sure.

Chih-yun T.

Yelp
It's such a cool place! The combination of motorcycles and coffee, interesting. The location is thoughtful for the motorcyclists, like it's in the industrial area with not much traffic. When walked in the store, I can immediately notice that most of the customers are motorcycle enthusiasts, the store is quite spacious with a space to display lots of cool helmets and also things for sale related to the motorcycles. However I couldn't feel myself fit in this place although the store puts the efforts to make it a comfortable relax place. There are sofas, plants and the spacious yet quiet place for people to enjoy themselves. I ordered cappuccino to go. The flavor was good. There is a bit flavor of almond or nut in it. They have good coffee! I will consider coming back when I have friends visit in town to show them this cool place!

Emma E.

Yelp
@bliproasters - Kansas City, MO (West Bottoms) the best lattes and cinnamon rolls in the West Bottoms

Oluchukwu W.

Yelp
Always a wonderful time when I visit and always something new to try. Had two jackfruit sandwiches and a Cranberry Cascara tea that were very good

Allison N.

Yelp
Such a cool spot! Went on a Saturday and they had several vendors selling their products/food. Lots of seating and cool atmosphere. The coffee was great as well. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious! They have house made syrups and don't upcharge for alternative milks. The location was a bit odd, but definitely worth a trip!

Blair J.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of checking out Blip Roasters for a Poetic Underground event. First off, love that Blip is giving space to an arts event like this. Blip is a lofty, open coffee shop. There is a variety of seating including tables, bar, and some furniture. I couldn't quite tell what the normal setup is, since things were moved around for the event, but it looks like there are several options. Menu is simple and prices are solid. They were serving alcohol during the evening event. I'll have to come back during the day to get a better feel for normal operations. But love, love that this space is getting multipurpose use.

Alli G.

Yelp
Wow- what a great hidden gem! This coffee is so delicious, I had a latte and it was perfectly sweet. I also had the almond croissant, not sure if they're made in house but it was great! The ladies working the counter were very sweet, too. The inside is SO cool, even if you're not a big motorcycle person, it's just such a cool atmosphere. I also bought myself a shirt "fueled by coffee" which is so cute and soft. Great experience, would recommend!!

Halo S.

Yelp
Another gem in the KC coffee scene. Driving out of your way is worth it for the drinks and the atmosphere. It's a spacious and cool store that's easy to relax in. Great chai, perfectly spiced and rich. The banana mocha is delicious.

Brittany C.

Yelp
I came here to check out Slow Rise who was doing a pop up, but man was I impressed with Blip! It was a Sunday morning and when we pulled up there were hundreds of motorcycles and I felt like I was walking into a biker bar ha. Blip is huge with tons of seating and it was hopping! I got the seasonal Moon Pie latte and it was everything. The toasted marshmallow on top was so fun! Such a unique coffeeshop for KC!

Jarad H.

Yelp
Yes folks, this is a coffee shop designed around those of us who prefer two wheels to four. I am by no means saying you would feel out of place if you drove in on your four wheels to snag a tasty cup of joe, but you will see the streets liked with every kind of bike, trike, and even scooter you can imagine. The line does get long but it moves very quickly so don't be discouraged when you see it wrapped around a table or two. The coffee was good, the atmosphere was better!!

Aaron C.

Yelp
Super cool coffee spot. It's in an industrial side of town. The decor and ambiance is super cool and their chai was awesome.

Spencer E.

Yelp
I'm no biker but this moto-cafe did not disappoint. I loved the space and how everything was laid out. The coffee was good and the staff were friendly. Always happy when I find a midwestern coffee shop with proper baristas

Ralphie S.

Yelp
After 4.5 years and two re-locations; an update is warranted... Blip Roasters opened up a new location a few blocks north of their previous location last week. The new space is large and spacious offering plenty of room to showcase their retail selection of bike gear and apparel. They now have more outdoor seating options, although indoor seating is fairly limited, due to social distancing guidelines. The space is well curated and resembles more of a bike / art museum with a cafe; still the hippest little coffee house in town.

Kayla C.

Yelp
One of a kind coffee shop! They have the best merch out of any coffee shop in KC. There's a lot of room to work too. AND THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY!

Mason V.

Yelp
Before the show started I ordered a canned cocktail (my first mistake, I know) and the barista handed me a canned cocktail and asked me to tip. ??? You handed me a can. It wasn't even a good one. It expired two months ago. It tasted like I imagine the water dripping from the ceiling and onto their one rug would've tasted.

Amanda R.

Yelp
Stopped by Blip for coffee and a pastry. The space is HUGE and not at all what I was expecting. It was chilly when we were there- I'd recommend wearing warm clothes if it's cold out. The barista was friendly and answered our questions about the pastries. My hazelnut latte with oat milk was delish! Pastries were pretty good too. We got the blueberry muffin and a scone. I will definitely be back if in the area around breakfast time.

Maxine S.

Yelp
Unfortunate that the person working at the register was very unfriendly because I love supporting local businesses but seeing that the Starbucks and other coffee stops baristas are much more friendly than this place I'll go elsewhere.

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Great coffee served by friendly folks! Be back again. Interesting location with lots going on b

Joe P.

Yelp
1st time going here, We were in the neighborhood so naturally my friend talked me into getting a coffee. I was kinda blown away by the atmosphere to be honest, reminds me of the tv show friends where they have couches and tables and could just hang out.. pretty chill vibe, people were very friendly. They have a mandatory mask policy and they have masks/hand sanitizer at a small table when you walk in. I ordered a iced vanilla latte "very delicious" they shake it up like a drink at the bar which i have never seen before... If I'm in the neighborhood I will definitely stop in again.

Adam S.

Yelp
Really cool coffee shop in the West Bottoms. I like riding my motorcycle here on Sunday mornings for meetups. Usually a great turnout. If you aren't on two wheels, still a fun time checking out the bikes and meeting new people. The breakfast burritos are good, but I think they are frozen and popped into a toaster oven. Sometimes they have other pop up shops serving food, which is fun. Excellent coffee as well, not just a cool theme.

Zander M.

Yelp
Is dope not sure what else to tell you come down on Sundays meet up with everybody and get good coffee

Ira M.

Yelp
Been all over KC, Blip has great coffee with the best prices in town. They also have the most comfortable seating with tons of space so you will not feel stacked on top of others. Come check it out, but don't stay too long, I found it, its mine!

Brennan B.

Yelp
Really cool place in West Bottoms for coffee and pastries, breakfast burrito. Motorcycle merch.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and some of the nicest people you'll meet. You don't need to ride a motorcycle to enjoy this motorcycle themed joint, but if you do make sure you stop by on Sunday mornings for the weekly meetups. Drink Coffee and Be Happy

Nora F.

Yelp
If you haven't been to the new Blip Roasters space, drop what you are doing and go there now. It is absolutely beautiful. So spacious with tons of natural light coming in. Perfect place to work or just catch up with a friend. All employees and customers were wearing masks and respecting social distancing. The vibe inside is great - different bikes and helmets, furniture and plants. There is also outdoor seating. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the barista recommended the cascara tea. They gave me a taster since I've never had it before and it was delicious. Will definitely be back soon.

Don K.

Yelp
Total cool hipster place as you can get. First coffee place I've seen that has aligned itself with the motorcycle in all its glory. Even their location is too cool! To the coffee and other things... the espresso was sharper than I'd like with minimal crema. But like IPAs it seems to be more the norm these days. And in true hipster behavior, I wasn't acknowledged for a bit. Not too bad though. Lots of logo'd merch everywhere. There's a large community table along with some smaller tables and chairs in the back. Their microroaster is also in the back.

Angela W.

Yelp
Love the drinks, snacks, staff, items for sale. They have good events, food trucks, good place to go to get a snack or meet up.

Matthew J.

Yelp
Let's Go! Absolutely love this little gem . Conferee is fantastic and the breakfast burritos are under rated. Beat of all the staff is very friendly. You can tell this is a great place to be buy there staff. Highly recommend you get on two wheels and hightail it to Blips. Bring your pup if you can!
