Blackbird Coffee

I went here 3 times when I stayed in Hanoi! The food is great and the coffee is wonderful. There is a large selection of coffee and the quality of coffee is great. Their coconut blended iced coffee is top notch. The atmosphere is incredible also. The staff are so helpful and kind. I left a personal belonging there and they immediately responded to my message and kept it safe while I was away. It’s more on the expensive side for Vietnam but worth it if you want to have some lovely avocado and toast! And a pastry. I particularly loved the cinnamon bun. The best thing about this place is the balcony overlooking the street. I was obsessed with it! Perfect view to start your day. Thank you black bird and all the staff !

Great place to enjoy the beautiful pace of life in Hanoi. If you’re lucky enough, get the seats on the balcony to have a great view and smell of the street filled with herbal medicine shops. It does not get any more Hanoi than this. The service is a bit slow when it’s crowded, they seem to be a bit short of staff. Great drinks & food, overall a great experience.

We visited Blackbird Coffee twice—once for breakfast and another time in the late afternoon for drinks. The cafe was quiet, a peaceful refuge from the Old Quarter. While the prices are higher compared to other spots, it’s understandable given the artisan coffee they serve. We tried Americano, latte, and hot chocolate—all were nice and comforting. For breakfast, we ordered the pesto toast, mushroom toast, and avocado toast, which we enjoyed on the balcony. The balcony also offers a lovely view, perfect for people-watching in the morning while savoring breakfast.

love the vibes of this place. we ordered the plan croissant and banana bread, the cross isn’t was was light and fluffy while the banana bread lacked flavor. very nice place to relax.

Got a hot cappuccino and it is good! Wifi quite fast, many people working with laptop. There's a second floor so quite spacious with lots of seating. There's a little cute balcony overlooking the street. Good vibe. Wifi password: blackbird123

Good quality latte and chocolate croissant! A lovely calm atmosphere inside with people working on laptops, reading, and chatting quietly. A good terrace to people watch from.

We got the milk coffee and signature egg coffee, along with chocolate croissant and avocado toast. Food: the toast came with mushroom and tomato, which pairs well with the avocado spread. Not exactly a must try but it's a good complement with the coffee. Choco croissant was OK. Coffee: The eggspresso was great compared to other cafes we tried. Portion felt a little small, would be nice if there was an upsize option. Atmosphere: nice ambience and deco, with a mini garden at the 1st floor and a balcony in the second. However, there were some cracks in the wallpaper which distracts from the beauty of the place.

Very nice coffee place with coffee, tea and light food (focaccias, toasts and salads). A bit more priced than other places but the coffee is very good and so is the food! We love Vietnamese food but once in a while it’s nice to try something lighter and that was a perfect spot! Even if you see from outside that the place is busy (which was every time we went there ;)) , they have a first floor which is more quiet and have more space. Food ranges from 75-110 K VND and coffee/tea 60-80 K VND. Food wise we tried popcorn chicken salad with mango and passion fruit sauce (loved it!), avocado toast and focaccia with beef.
