Bird Pick Tea & Herb

If I'm craving tea this is where I go. Sometimes I like to bring my laptop and hang out here. The place is located in Old Town Pasadena. Inside there are wooden tables and chairs. If you want to watch them make your tea sit by the bar. They also sell loose tea, packaged tea, sweets, snacks, tea-ware, and drink-ware. ~Drinks~ I like the Lychee Oolong Tea. It's refreshing and not very sweet. At the bottom of your drink you will get one lychee. The Matcha Green Tea is rich and creamy. ~Food~ The Banana Bread is so delicious, it's moist, soft and they use real bananas; there are banana pieces in the muffin. I also tried the the Coconut Bread, it is topped with coconut shavings. The Chili Lemon Pepper Popcorn is air popped Organic (NON-GMO) Corn Kernels, it was spicy and lemon flavored. When I ate it I was coughing because of the seasoning. Wonderful tea place and drink. Great selection of tea and Asian tea sets. Love their lychee oolong

Really nice place to buy little gifts for friends and family, or just to enjoy a beautiful cup of tea.

Went here with my g/f the other day. The tea selection is excellent. They have many different regional teas. I really enjoyed opening the different containers and taking a whiff of them, especially the Pekoe White, so soft and subtle. A real cool place to visit, and it was nice to know that they were't a big chain or branch, the only one you'll find is currently here in Old Town Pasadena.

Stumbled upon this place while walking around Pasadena . Enjoyed to see the variety of teas that they offered. Staff was friendly asking a few times if we had any questions ect . I wish that the staff though would call out numbers or names when orders are ready. I had placed an order after my friend, and they called out the drink name after hers and another lady grabbed mine so fast . Thinking that was her drink she ordered, hopefully they can do a change on drink orders. Since it was so hot and had to wait a few more minutes for a new drink. Other than that this place is a great spot .

The hibiscus trees with longan juice was a beautiful purplish magenta. The taste so delicious. Great ambiance. Would come back with a friend and sit outside again. The street was lined with blooms and the pedestrians were very nice. Saw several people out with their dogs. Dog friendly with outdoor seating at this location. This will be one of her favorite picks in Old Town. Parked at the Delacey Structure for free for 90 minutes. Nice place to visit.

I'm happy I found this hidden gem in Pasadena. I've been there several times now and I'm always happy with the tea I bring back home. Michael is really great - he will tell you everything you need to know about the various teas and also how to prepare each one of them.

Hidden jem off the Colorado. Great tea, great vibe.
