The beer garden is located within the English Garden. It's a beautiful spot to grab a beer or snack after scrolling through the park. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit and eat. Bavarian Food and beer are buffet style. You'll also receive a coin at check out that is turned back in with the beer stein. This is to ensure you return the glassware which you do receive one euro back. Other features included bathrooms, kids park/carousel and a bus stop!

My nephew and I stopped here during our trip to Munich. So glad we did! We both tried different types of sausage, each had a (giant) pretzel and a beer. It’s just tables outdoors and such a peaceful vibe while walking the English garden. You walk through the buildings adding food and drink to your tray then pay it all together. The beers take a €2 deposit that you get back when you return the glass.

First time visitors from US. Beautiful park and huge enjoyable beer garden. Not crowded on a Wednesday night, but it is huge! We had the white Bratwurst with frites and kraut. Brats good and kraut fresh & tangy..Tiramisu for dessert OK. Be Sure to look over the entire food choices and prices before selecting as there are many intriguing dishes. A walk around the park after a meal and a beer feels great.

Great beer garden with live music on weekends or in season. Good prices. Can take a beer and also go sit down in the park then return the glass Super clean toilets which is surprisingly normal in Germany. You will almost always find a place to sit. Try the smoked fish from outside stands.

Very interesting concept, a Chinese pagoda and at the foot of it surrounded by beer garden style bleachers and tables where food are served cafeteria style, self service. The food itself though, over priced and not so good. Pork Knuckle was hard and tough, not juicy and tender like the one we had the next day at a restaurant, the meat should fall off the bone.
