My Khe Beach

Beautiful beach. Seems endless smooth sand beach. Relatively clean. Haven’t seen any smoke butts or other small trash on the beach. So walking bare feet on it felt quite alright. It can get quite hot if you visit near noon. Highly recommend coming in the morning and enjoy the sun shining right on the ocean and beach. Late afternoon, the sun will start to get partially block by tall buildings.

Love the beach. It’s quiet every time we go. We just haven’t been there before 08:00 but we’ve been there on weekends and weekdays. The boardwalk gets a bit busy in the evenings with people working out (dancing). There are places to get food and drink. The water is very warm, the warmest we’ve ever encountered, gets warmer the later it gets. They also have a few activities that you can do but at a fee.

Very clean beach. Quiet. Relatively long. Some bars and restaurants on it. Nice warm water. Really have nothing to complain about. HOWEVER, very prone to riptides! Be aware. Some days are very bad for swimming.

Da Nang beach is famous for its length, clear white sand that feels like flour and warm sea water. This is the beach of astonishing sunrises. There are many hotels located near the beach. On the south and center parts of this beach there are many restaurants and beach clubs. The northern part of the beach is less “inhabitant”. Many locals go to this part because it’s less crowded and less touristy for now. Because of clear water and sandy sea bed, locals still fish here in traditional ways. They travel with a net on their small round boats into the sea, drop the net and then a bunch of people just pull this net to the shore. Once done - they check their catch. It’s super interesting to look at and I would recommend checking out if possible. On weekends this beach is crowded - not just tourists, but by many locals. Weekdays are more free. There are places with lifeguards to swim. But frankly I found that it’s possible to swim everywhere there. There could be really good waves appropriate for surfers. It depends on a season though, so check it out first. The beach is quite tidy with to garbage. Of course, it happens there from time to time, but overall it’s clean. There are no places to change clothes, except beach clubs (may be), so keep that in mind. Also WCs are limited.

Been all around the world and this beach pretty much has it all except for world class barrels. Bars, food. Palapas, beach chairs, amazing boardwalk...

Beautiful fine, golden sand and wide spaces. It's easy to see why this beach is rated as one of the best in the world. Beach lounges and umbrellas for hire, street vendors offering a wide variety of foods and easy access and parking. It gets crowded early morning and late afternoon, where locals take advantage of the cooler parts of the day. Local fisherman in their round boats, bring their catch up onto the beach for sale.

Lifeguard is just extra and useless!!! All they did was constantly blowing the whistle to tell us travellers not to swim!!!!! Some people find that very anointing! We travelers came here to enjoy the beach! Tell us to stay out of the beach is a little too much. I have been here long enough and see the same yellow shirt idiots controlling the beach area, travelers if you want to enjoy to hit beach dont come here! The surfer that rented the board can go as far out the sea as they want to. What is that supposed to mean!? $$$ works! No shade and no snorkeling spots! Diving shops are not available!

Ohhh I love the beach.. the sands are very fine, long stretch of the beach. Plus there are ample of recliners to lie on the beach for a reasonable price. Cafes restaurants are available. There are surf lessons going on. So , i would say this beach is highly recommended when you're in Da Nang
