Between the Covers Bookstore and Bruno Cafe

A cute little bookstore. And by the way”little”, I mean little! Yet quaint. 😊 The “lightness” on the star-rating is for the lack of proactive interaction between the store associate and those of us in the store. Was it the end-of-the-world? It was not. Could I have asked a question and received help if I needed it? High probability. Engaging a bit with the folks walking in - perhaps striking a better balance with unpacking boxes, organizing (?) - would engender a more inviting feel. - Which wouldn’t s*ck. Particularly as we’re traveling and I always make it a point to visit/support independent bookstores. Ooooooooh welllllllllll. I don’t perceive the town is in full-season mode, and us early-birds perhaps are being “overlooked” as merchants get geared-up for the onslaught. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Easily my favorite place in Telluride! Nice sitting area up front to work and watch the snowfall in the winter and always an amazing selection of books to browse year round! I never leave empty-handed, a book always seems to find me!

Great little place to hang out at a quaint book store, super coffee!! We did a coffee art class there, Roxanne and the staff are so friendly and hospitable. It doesn't get more local than this!! To bad I can't give them 10 stars.

Such a lovely, small town, classic bookstore. Always warm and welcoming! The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help with special requests. The bonus is the sweet coffee shop in the back. Its a must see when visiting the beautiful, picturesque town of Telluride! Tell all your friends to shop local!

Loved visiting "Between the Covers". Came in with the family for a coffee and a look around. The Staff selections caught my eye and I got into a great conversation with Brad who was minding the store. We ended up buying a few recommendations and look forward to going there again. If you're in Telluride make sure to stop by and get yourself a great book ... and coffee.

Between the Covers Bookstore is a Telluride treasure and the staff has always been most kind and helpful on every occasion I have had the pleasure to shop there. The selection of books, greeting cards and delicious coffee is outstanding. I am sincerely impressed with the diligence of the staff in ensuring a safe, clean space by insisting on all visitors sanitizing their hands and wearing masks during the pandemic. Mary Ann Cercone

Cute bookstore with good selection. Staff was a bit disinterested. The coffee area was cute, very limited seating inside but really good coffee and had a delicious breakfast burrito to go. Only complaint was actually with rude loud patrons that ruined the atmosphere. Probably no way to control that
