Stayed 7 days in San Diego and walked here each morning to have their amazing lattes, drip coffee, cold brew, matcha and tried their croissant flavors and loved their zucchini walnut vegan muffin. Rich creamy spicy pumpkin lattes and dark roast is rich and full bodied coffee flavor. Great service. Smooth coffee. Also hung out inside for an hour talking as a family. Great local vibe and place to get coffee!

It was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint! Pulled up to the window and was greeted very nicely. Told her it was my first time and she recommended a couple things which I got! I ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and then got the blueberry energy drink refreshment. Both of these items were great! Also got the bacon sandwich which was 10/10 according to my husband.

It is a small setting but plenty of room to sit outside. This one has a drive thru and they keep it moving. Although I tried the chocolate covered expresso beans I did not like. I am a huge dark chocolate fan but I guess I couldn’t take the expresso taste. Join their rewards program!!!! U can earn a free coffee

No parking! Only drive through! It's a drive through experience! I generally don't like coffee in a paper cup it dilutes the taste of the real cappuccino. Entry is very awkward to the drive-through. Coffee on the other hand is really flavorful. I'm pretty sure it would taste fantastic in the ceramic cup.

stopped in today first time customer to see what all the excitement was about. tried to buy 3 bags of holiday coffee to take back to my employees. three signs said 25 percent off with 2 or more purchased. bought 3 and was given the retail price when ask about promo said you must download the app. ok no problem right? wrong then the went on to say it was for a limited time offer. so I got my money back and left. Looked like a fun place. won't return

Stopped in at Better Buzz while waiting to meet up with a friend. This location in Pt Loma has a busy drive thru service and parking is limited to the streets around the area so it can be a little difficult. The inside is brightly lit and cute. I asked for a suggestion from the barista of something strong yet also sweet and was recommended a Moroccan Spice drink. It’s basically a shaken espresso with spices and heavy cream on top. I ordered it iced and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be stopping back for more next time I’m in the area!

Coffee and food were good but I don’t recommend ordering take out from here if you’re in a rush. This location only offers 4 parking spots, and despite a few of them having a 10 min limit, no one actually monitors them… and finding street parking is impossible. So even though you order pick up, you end up having to wait in the normal drive thru line to get your order… It would be nice if they considered adding a serious “pick up only” spot.

For the 5 days we were visiting San Diego, we got Better Buzz four times. Loved the Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew, Best Drink Ever, and OG Acai Bowl with almond butter. The regular sized hot Best Drink Ever is the same size as the Large Iced one. The Açaí bowl with the almond butter was delicious-- we got it 3 times. I tried the Hazelnut drink, but I didn't like it as much as the cinnamon cream cold crew and Best drink ever. The cinnamon cream cold brew was definitely my favorite. My boyfriend bought the vanilla cream powder they sell. He said it tastes so good when he adds it to his coffee.

Better buzz coffee to me is so much better than Starbucks. Service and coffee here is great. Just wish they had a better outdoor seating area especially if you have your four legged friend with you. Ha

A must go for coffee lovers. Perfect balance of sweetness and classic coffee or tea. I got the lavender tea latte and it had a balanced amount of tea flavor and creamy latte. Service is efficient and can get busy. We parked down the street and walked in. Views are amazing being by the coast/marina.

Cute coffee shop in Point Loma with friendly staff, bright & friendly atmosphere, and of course great coffee! I stopped by here while I was visiting SD last weekend and I opted to get one of their seasonal drinks, the pumpkin chai and it was delicious. The drink was smooth with a great amount of chai and pumpkin flavor and it was a great start to my day. I love the decor of this shop and the name of their drinks in relation to bees is so cute and a nice touch. They have your typical variety of drinks to choose from hot or iced and with alternative milks if you are lactose intolerant. Pricing is reasonable and like most other coffee shops in the area and they even have a drive-thru or you can order online ahead to avoid the lines. Parking can be tight so I recommend parking on the street and walking over!

A charming little place on a busy street corner - perfect for people watching. There's so much natural light, and the staff are literally the sweetest and most helpful. Looking at the other customers, I'm also now convinced that the only people in San Diego with below average attractiveness are the tourists. The food was super mid; I got a pesto turkey sandwich, which I genuinely wish I never found out what it tasted like. Please stop serving this. But you get 4-stars because wtf your coffee is wildly good. Like so, so good. Please stop serving food, but please never stop serving coffing

Wonderful service, cute decor & good coffee. Visiting town, this place is on the corner with a drive-thru & some outdoor seating on benches. The indoor seating is high top with stools. I got the cold brew & chocolate croissant; brew is smooth & just strong enough to get the day going, they warmed up the croissant, very lite with a generous amount of chocolate.

This location gets quite the drive through line, but they are well equipped. Ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee to go and they were ready within the estimated time given. Their drinks are solid always (I do ask for half sweet though). The breakfast sandwiches were perfectly good - not exceptional but I'd willingly eat again. There is some indoor and outdoor seating available.

I normally don't order anything other than an americano but I decided to try their "best coffee ever" and for a non-americano it was definitely a favorite! Their yogurt was also incredible! The added honey comb really make the difference and I got mine with berries, hemp seeds, granola, and bee pollen and all ingredients felt very fresh/high quality. My friends who ordered the avocado toast also raved about it. The shop itself is pretty typical but very well lit, could maybe see myself doing a couple hours of busy work in there. It was definitely a great way to end my trip to San Diego this week!

Have heard several rave about Better Buzz specifically located in San Diego. Tried out the Vanilla Bean latte and Best Drink Ever! Both were really good! The vanilla bean latte has a slight sweetness to it, nothing too crazy, still good! The best drink ever.. highly recommend! Now it says that it's an americano, and normally Americano's are just pure espresso and water. I was expecting it to be quite strong or bitter, but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor! Definitely one of my favorites drinks I've had! This staff was really friendly and were able to help me with any questions. Also loved the pride decor to celebrate this month! The only downside is that there really isn't much parking for this location so be aware. However on the bright side, this location does have a drive-thru!

I wanted to say last Friday I went and got 2 Matcha Lattes and on OG Acai bowl. I went through the drive thru, our drinks came out fairly quickly. The girl helped the guy give us our drinks and hurriedly said thanks! But we still did not get our Acai bowl yet. Once we told her, she came over very quickly and handed us a bag. We drove away to relax and sit down by the water. We were sadly disappointed there was hardly any granola at all! It was too late to drive back but not sure if this was supposed to be another person's Acai bowl or they just truly ripped us off. Hardly any fruit on top and about 3 spoonfuls of granola. The other times i have gotten the OG Acai bowls, they are pretty full. For $12, I expected more, there was at least 2 1/2 inches of empty space from the top of the bowl to the lid. BOO!

I got the Honey Latte, the flavor was great! It was definitely on the sweeter side, but I love honey so I was ok with that. It wasn't beautiful looking, just your average-no latte art work. Also picked up a pound of Bali Blue Moon beans which are so good. Staff was very nice, service was quick enough. I liked seeing all of the gluten free baked goods though I didn't end up trying any.

The baristas were so friendly, my coffee came out quick and it was delicious!! I had to do street parking but it wasn't a far walk and it was a nice breezy day out when I went so I didn't mind.

Hi-ya! This place was busy and across the street from our hotel. The service was fast, good and product was good. Their coffee was what we all needed and hit the spot and we all ordered a ciabatta sandwich, which were all made fast and tasted fairly decent. Overall, the atmosphere, service and food was on point.

If I was on an expense account I'd gladly go to Better Buzz every day for weeks at a time. It's hard to find fault with a place that offers cinammon cream cold brew on tap. You may have heard me say I appreciate when a food or drink either has the name of the establishment, or appears in a rectangle with a large font and some version of "try our famous..." With a plane to catch as I sadly had to leave SD and return to the real world, I was glad to see the vanilla-laden "Best Drink Ever" and the "Better Breakfast" sandwich. While the size/value ratio isn't perfect, the havarti, bacon and garlic aioli are powerful enough to be mentioned in my next Ted Talk called "Stop Complaining About Free Motel Breakfasts And Go Somewhere Nearby."

Super cute cafe with a drive through! When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the staff and the fragrant smell of the coffee. Great ambiance, friendly staff, big tables for working or for conversation. The amount of different flavors were exciting. The drinks were good and pretty sweet: great if you have a sweet tooth, but ask for less sweetness if you don't. Lots of milk substitutes as well. My favorites were the "best drink ever", the snickerdoodle, and the hazelnut lattes. Sweet and fragrant.

This place was highly recommended by locals. Crammed on the corner of Hugo and Rosecrans with a drive thru no less. Decent seating area inside but a small patio as well. Ordered two large coffees over 2 days, consistently good quality and robust dark roast blend. About $4 for large 20 oz? Cup. Staff pleasant and inside was clean. Gets busy. Recommend, 5 stars.

Better Buzz has a fantastic quality to their drinks, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have led me to rate the store 1 star. I'd like to share my experiences in the hopes that it helps the team improve. During my visit in mid December, I went through the drive-thru and was warmly greeted by a barista who quickly took my order. I paid using tap on the iPad and proceeded through the line to pick up my drink. However, while waiting, multiple baristas approached my car with drinks for a name and order that weren't mine, insisting they belonged to me. When I reached the window, the barista asked for my order again, even though I had already ordered and paid. After repeating my name and order several times, they asked me to pay again. I explained that I had already paid, but they seemed doubtful. I ended up having to show the transaction in my bank account to prove the payment had gone through. Only then did they make my drink, and the process felt hesitant and disorganized. More recently, on January 2, I placed a DoorDash order for pickup and visited the store. The shop wasn't busy, and I was one of the only people inside. I waited at the counter for over five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. As someone who has worked in the food industry I understand the challenges of managing multiple tasks in a timely manner. A simple "We'll be right with you" would have made all the difference. I don't expect immediate service, just some acknowledgment. Better Buzz has so much potential to be an amazing place where people gather to enjoy great coffee. However, the recurring disorganization and lack of communication have left me disappointed. I hope this feedback helps the team address these service challenges, as I truly believe they can make a positive change.

Got the "Best Drink Ever" Quality lived up to the name Love the ambiance of the place. The employees were very nice and helpful in explaining the menu Will be getting the merchandise next time I come back :)

There are a few locations around the county but I love coming to this one because of the great service. Erin always greets me at the drive through with a big smile and remembers my name which makes me feel valued. Since her last recommendation for avocado toast it's become a staple of my order. In addition, I always get a best drink (iced). I will say that it's pretty sweet- half sweet is my preference but the coffee is flavorful and I love that it's organic! This place always has a long line in the drive thru so give yourself time.

This coffee shop was conveniently situated across the street from where I was staying. Despite its busy ambiance, the service was prompt. Their pistachio croissant was delightful, offering a rich flavor of pistachio creamy paste. The ham and cheese sandwich was tasty, and the OG Acai bowl was large and satisfying. Overall, Better Buzz had a great buzz about it.

Better buzz is usually awesome. The ciabatta sandwich is one of my favorite breakfast options. However, this time, I made the mistake of asking for sourdough. And was given half a sandwich. Wild that changing the bread removed half of the meal. Not sure if that was cause of the bread change, or just this location sucks, but I don't appreciate getting half as much food as I usually do, especially at full price. Not cool. I love better buzz! I honestly wish I got their Coconut Matcha drink before the season ended bc it's easily one of my faves (along with the iced Best Drink Ever & iced Vanilla Latte w/ oat milk). They literally had me at coconut cream & matcha, two of my favorite things ever. Glad I got to try their elote toast as well! So hearty and filling. One of these days I'm going to wake up early and get the pistachio croissant because I'm always too late.

A nice location with a great selection of caffeinate themed drinks. The shop does not have a lot of options for lounging (and the music was a bit loud) but it was empty enough for a relaxing morning. The line gets pretty long if you're ordering to-go, so keep an eye on that. May be better to order ahead and pick-up, but PL parking can be a bit of a challenge. The drinks are solid, better than most chained stores, with their own little twist. The pastry I got was pretty good, a little slow on getting out but not a big deal since I was there to kill off some time. I recommend coming inside and kicking back a minute; kind of an odd thing to say for a drink that's supposed to be your 'pick-me-up' but its nice to just sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee once in a while, and Better Buzz is a nice place to do that.

I loved that they were open super early, 5 a.m. The staff was friendly and up beat ( for so early) Coffee was delicious, I just got a drip, nothing fancy but good !

The last 4 times I went to this location to get beans and a drink, they were each time either out of their standard beans or oat milk. Whoever is responsible for their inventory needs to step up their game. Not going back to this location again. All other locations are always on point.

Our office recently moved to Point Loma and I drive past Better Buzz every day, I've tried coming in the morning but their lines are way too long so early in the morning. I ended up getting the app and ordering for pickup, if you get the app you can get a free regular drink after your first app order. It's so easy and convenient, I ordered a Mexican hot chocolate and a pistachio croissant, added the time for pickup and within 7 minutes I was there to pick it up. The team here are so friendly and had everything ready for me, also how cute is this spot? It's so bright and welcoming and plenty of space for people to work and enjoy their coffee inside and out. Also my pistachio croissant and Mexican hot chocolate were delicious!

First time trying out Better Buzz! Parked a block or two away. The line for the drive thru was absolutely nuts. It definitely causes a ton of traffic issues. For the morning, it was quite busy. Ended up just ordering a cold brew. It wasn't bad, but I would probably get less ice. Didn't stick out to me. Seating is a bit scarce both inside and outside. All in all, standard coffee shop. Not a fan of the layout of their place for ordering and drive thru. Inside, it just becomes a cluster of people ordering and waiting for their drinks.

Love this place...my drink was delicious and the customer service was on point. Highly recommend this spot!

The staff is always welcoming! This location gets my order right the majority of the time. The few times there was a mayhap the manager or the team are happy to remake my drink. Whenever I opt for adding avocado to my food they are generous and it makes my entire day. 10/10 I reccomend for a good coffee/breakfast stop.

Located right on Rosecrans with a cool drive-thru in a small limited area. Real estate is tough to come by around here and they make good use of theirs. As I said, the coffee is good, smooth and hot. It goes well with some of the baked treats they have to offer. Service and quick and friendly. Okay, I don't have a good pun for buzz, but get some of their coffee and the rest of your day will be BREWtiful!

We walked in and placed an order. The staff was helpful with suggestions and answered all questions. The drive thru line was very busy however our drinks were made quickly, which was nice. I ordered a horchata drink and was slightly underwhelmed with the flavor, I was expecting a bit more. Nice place to visit if out for a walk in the area.

I had a great experience at this better buzz! I love the space despite it being a small location. A few great things: - I was greeted multiple times by different staff members. - Restrooms were super clean! - My friend and I accidentally over did our stay by a few minutes and there was not a moment where we felt we were getting booted out. - Quick service but also a lot of baristas! What didn't go so great: -Parking is the absolute worst! That's all! My coffee was amazing! I highly recommend this Better Buzz.

Maybe I'm use to a certain style of coffee but not much on the selection choices. Seemed the same as Starbucks to me. Only complaint is the parking not easy to access with drive thru getting in the way.

Great coffee but horrible lid cover. They use a sticker cover for the open area of the lid where you drink. When you take it off it leaves residue. They should something else because it annoying as some of the sticker residue goes in my mouth. I tried to take off most of it but it's super stuck on the lid. This is annoying!

Great vibes, not too busy and fast service. Always quick, easy for on the go. Today I tried this energy drink its overall flavor is a berry taste, refreshing. I like the pop rocks for that extra sweet and sour taste.

Staying down in San Diego, figured we would try to support local. Ordered ahead at this place, had to wait still when we got there (no worries, it happens) but when our food was finally out the coffee was lukewarm at best, seems like it should've been hot given the wait. Breakfast sandwich had basically raw bacon on it and an epic pile of arugula. It was just ok. Not great.

Barista who took our order was super sweet she made conversation and took our order promptly. Love the blended drink. Tastes more like a shake lol we love trying different coffee shops while on road trips and they did not disappoint.

Eat-in (indoor and outdoor), take-out, drive-through breakfast joint with pastries (banana bread, pumpkin bread, scones, croissants, muffins and muffins tops, etc.), breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and tea. No juice, but the hot Chai tea latte was the absolute bomb. The yogurt and acai bowls are large enough for one hungry person or two people who are also eating a pastry. The coconut yogurt bowl is quite sweet. The acai bowl comes almost frozen.!a They do have wifi but not enough (comfortable) seating (inside), that you would want to linger and work, especially since it is also loud with the various machines. I didn't notice if there was very much parking, since we walked from our hotel.

I came to get an iced chai and a OG açaí bowl. Well the chai is great but the bowl is awful. Please make the açaí fresh blended. I go to eat said bowl and the açaí is frozen solid so I can't eat it on the go I have to go home and BLEND that part so I can actually eat it. This isn't the first time this is happened but now it's getting annoying.

When in for a cup of coffee and was welcomed with a warming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and smiling and gave me a wonderful experience. Will return

Better Buzz was by our home for a few days while visiting San Diego. We walked here and had friendly service, consistently good drinks and an overall great experience. The customer service was friendly and quick. They have coffee, teas, food and pastries. The drive thru was packed every time we went and I see why. Would definitely stop in again when in the area!
