Best Western Melbourne City Hotel

I stayed here quite a number of nights in November and December 2024. The room was just alright for me as a solo traveller. Friendly reception staff including Lorenzo and Rajesh. The location was superb. The Crown complex with a Village Cinema and a food court is quite literally almost just down the road, a 10-minute walk away, and the free tram system stop is just 30 metres away. The Southern Cross Station for the Skybus is an easy less than 10-minute walk away. Recommended👍👍👍👍👍

Really nice hotel in the most perfect location. Public transportations (especially the free trams) are just a few meters from the hotel, grocery store and bars, and several good coffee shops are also close by. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. The staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. We had a fantastic start at the Best Western Hotel in Melburne!

After taking the Skybus from Melbourne Airport to Southern Cross Station it was only a short walk to the hotel. The room i stayed in was basic and a little small but as i was traveling for work, it was all i needed. The room had great air-conditioning, it was clean and comfy. The bathroom was small and certainly not suitable for larger people.

Courtyard rooms are quiet, very comfortable and easily accessible on ground floor. Location is excellent as close to Southern Cross Station and tram transport. Good for local pick up for day trips/tours. Restaurant located inside hotel has good food, value for money and great friendly service. Will be returning

We had a courtyard room and it was fabulous! Light and bright! Room is compact but cosy with everything you need. Great location for exploring the city, close to transport. Staff were wonderful, very friendly! Highly recommend next time you are needing a city stay for work or pleasure!

Be sure to request a room with a window when booking and confirm on check-in. The room was tiny, no window, and the bathroom was dirty. Staff at reception were unhelpful. Didn’t feel comfortable staying here as a solo traveller. There was also an issue on check-in which they failed to communite until I arrived after travelling for 24 hours and wasn’t allowed access to my room.

Would definitely stay here again. Clean comfy rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Close to everything. Lovely on site licenced Cafe open early till late. Very reasonably priced. Had a great stay. Thankyou.

Mouse droppings on the bed when I arrived and was woken by dog barking in room close by. Was unaware that hotel was pet friendly when I made the booking. I will not stay here again.
